Chapter 430 - Coming On Cruises!

"But what have you even planned in your brain? Let me know that at least!" At this question, Jennifer passed her a small smile. 

"You will learn everything. For now, let me just put the step forward. Don't worry..." Jennifer had constantly kept a formal smile with her high chin. 

Her confidence was on the bright side as well, which finally convinced the lady that Jennifer wasn't any dumb either to go into the lane which might never suit her. 

At last, letting out a clear-cut heavy sigh, Hannah finally gave a nod to her going out. When Jennifer received her reply, did Jennifer give a bear typed hug, "You will never regret this. Neither will I." 

"I hope so too because that man...is actually a snake. So you will have to take care of yourself a lot.." Hannah gave her last words before Jennifer bid her goodbye to come downstairs. 

As usual, her mother was already overwhelmed with the emotions that Jennifer was again moving on with Lucas, and that too with a happy face. 

While David kept a formal smile, the joy never missed from his eyes either. 

Having a few conversations with them, Jennifer came outside of her house, where she took a deep breath. "You can do this, Jenifer..yes.." 

For the night, she chose a black-colored one-piece that was strapless. Applying a little bit of makeup on her face, she was almost unrecognizable. 

But at the same time, Jennifer had made sure to maintain her confidence yet the slight flirtiness gaze. 

Holding her clutch, she made sure that her cleavage wasn't visible much either, where she had to calm her nerves. Afterward, amidst the night, she saw a black car parked in front of her house.

Her heels made the tik-tok sound when she walked near the car. There, another gentleman, mainly the bodyguard bowed at her, "Good to see you, Ms. Jennifer. Sir is waiting for you at the cruise itself. Please get inside." 

"Alright." gave a strong nod before she sat inside the car and the door was closed. 

Keeping her eyes outside the window, she sat on the left-hand side of the car where she saw that they were going to the other seaport where most of the ships of the Smith family are parked. It didn't make any sense to her, why will even Lucas try to meet his investor out on the cruise? 

Why not in the state itself? It raises many questions in the back of her mind, but she had decided to keep herself mum at this point. 

Rather than asking dozens of things, she would likely observe things. 

"Miss Jennifer, we will be reaching the place in the next five minutes." 

"Is the cruise parked there?" Jennifer asked since she had expected it to be still waiting for him. Yet the question made a frown curve on her forehead, "No ma'am. Actually, the cruise had already departed. We will take you there in the boat."

"Oh...." Jennifer wasn't expecting this out of them. 

It gave her another blow, where Jennifer's lips were turning the straight line. "I-is the cruise huge though? I haven't seen any of the Smiths' cruises.." 

"It surely is. A big giant one...." The driver subconsciously answered, without realizing that Jennifer had got the details she wished to extract out. 

Passing him the smile, Jennifer rotated her head to see outside of the window, but her hands didn't stay all together. She took out the phone from her purse, to finally keep it down, and drop a message to Jack, about the slight changes. 

Quickly typing, Jennifer finally saw that it was delivered to him, and then, she had switched the phone back and placed it back in her purse. 'I Don't care if you read it or not..but at least, I have done my work...' 

Jennifer didn't even try any other trick due to her fear. Soon afterward, she was brought to the designated port where the driver opened the door. 

Keeping her one leg out, and then another behind, she lifted herself to come out and saw that the boat was waiting for her. 

Without tearing her gaze from the boat, she asked, "Is that what will take me there?" 

"Yes ma'am. It's safe, don't worry." The guard and the driver concluded that she must have never traveled into a boat, maybe it alarmed her. 

But who will tell them the truth that she was actually keen to buy some time for Jack to arrive as well? 

Yet she didn't make it too obvious either. Clutching her purse in her hand, she walked further when she saw the bodyguard first climbing into the boat. Then, he turned around and extended his hand, "Please give me your hand, Miss.." "

"Y-You are coming with us?" Jennifer asked in between, where she had given her hand to come in the boat. 

Upon safely coming inside, she witnessed another man starting to drive the boat, at a steady rate. 

The bodyguard, who had listened to her words, did give her a nod, "Yes. Boss had assigned me to help you get there safely." 

"Hmm... tough work.." Jennifer muttered to herself where she had finally sat on the other corner as the ride took a pace to one of the giant cruises. 

In the next five minutes, there were dozens of emotions that floated in Jennifer's mind. 

She was afraid, scared that some blunder might be created. It brought the wits out of her heart,  but she had no other option left but to face everything. 'I hope that Jack can do some planning and.... don't let me be alone there..' 

With this constant thought coming inside her mind, Jennifer had kept herself occupied until her eyes fell on the massive cruise info for eyes. Lights were everywhere, which made her heart skip a beat. 

"Is this...the cruise which we were talking about?" Jennifer can't help but ask the guard who also replied,. "That's the one. Boss is inside." 

"Y-Yeahh..." 

Their boat was brought to one of the entrances of the cruise. There, the same guard helped her to climb out of it, to finally help her walk inside the cruise. 

Frontside, she saw that it was built very nicely. Including the luxury that was needed in the night, it appeared like another of his superb places. But on the second note, she could expect that Lucas owns many like this, it was just a middle one.. 

Soon after, walking through the floors, she was brought on the top head of the cruise, where the lights were dimly lit but it seemed beautiful. 

But the strong and loud laugh had pulled her attention, where she saw the inventor of Lucas as well Lucas, were not having a time of their own. 

At that point, her heart had started to beat too loudly, but she had maintained the smirk to finally walk there. 

When Lucas's gaze fell upon her, he cheered to come in her direction before passing her the smile. 

But instead of talking with her or greeting her, he put his hand around her waist, as he pulled her near his body to rotate himself, facing the investor, "Meet my Fiance, Jennifer Taylor..."
