Chapter 486: I missed her

While Ellen had given Ryan a side glance, both of them knew that speaking to Javier on this topic was urgent.

It was the drive for a few hours and after he had spent the night with Jennifer in the room, they had shifted Jenifer into another room which was near the trade center of the state.

Moreover, it was Javier’s plan to book the room under Lucas’s name to confuse her and twirl her mind into these doubts.

To not raise questions, he had relayed information to her parents that she will be spending the night with her friend.

Along with the time, Jennifer was made to smell and inhale the fragrance to make her sleep for a much longer time.

Because of this, they had been able to successfully carry out their plan and that was to shift Jennifer..

As they reached the base in Johnson’s state, Ellen had parked the car just in front of it. From the back, Javier had stepped out of the car before he looked in Ryan’s direction, “Arrange the doctor as soon as possible.”

“Why?” Ryan questioned back with the raised brows.

Instead of replying, Javier simply removed his hand from his shirt, where the entire shirt was soaked with blood.

The sight was horrifying, which even made Ryan’s face pale, “This...you were specially told to take care of this wound!”

“JAVIER!? Was meeting with Jennifer at the risk of your own life worth it?!”

Ryan had slightly raised his voice but in return, a deep frown had curved his forehead. To avoid the same, he had helped Javier to walk on the other side of the base, since Javier’s blood loss had made him slightly dizzy.

Making him sit on the couch, Ellen urgently called for a doctor, who had also arrived the next few minutes.

Until now, Javier had already removed his shirt. There was the bandage, which was entirely covered with blood.

The redness was dripping from the wound and it wasn’t a sight to watch for sure.

The doctor had simply made Javier lay down on the couch before he had treated the wound again. “I had warned you, Mr. Johnson.”

“Your wounds are deep. You shouldn’t do any extensive things..but you didn’t listen to me..” The doctor expressed his displeasure.

But the words brought a scoff from Javier’s lips, “What else can happen to me, doctor? Aren’t you here to save me?”

“You should take your life more seriously, Mr. Johnson. This isn’t a game to be played.”

But Javier didn’t pay attention. His eye was intact in the ceilings above while the doctor did the procedures.

Whereas, Ryan and Ellen stood at the corner when they witnessed how much blood occurs. Even the doctor was surprised by his carelessness of Javier this time.

Despite not knowing what happened last night for the wound to reopen, he could imagine that the young stubborn man must have taken up some active task.

As the doctor had done the process, he had prescribed some medicine to Javier.

Taking their leave, Javier simply lay on the couch with his eyes shut completely.

But Ryan was more annoyed than the normal fact, “Happy now? Javier. You seriously need to ensure your mind. She is your wife, we understand. But how can you act like this?”

“Don’t press my nerves, Ryan...” Javier’s soft mumble didn’t make sense. “She is my wife. And I can do whatever I can to see her. None can stop me and mark this in your brains..”

“But when are you planning to meet her again?” This time, Ellen stepped ahead with his crossed hands.

Javier blurted it out straight away, to once again stay quiet.

But that silence didn’t remain for longer, “When the right time will come. When she needs me..for real..”
