CH 5.1

The wind whizzed by, and the scattered snowflakes swayed with the wind, bypassed the umbrella’s surface and floated into the umbrella before landing on the man’s crudely made fur cloak.

The man held the umbrella handle handed over by his younger brother in one hand and the heavy hand-warmer stove in the other.

He lowered his head and didn’t dare to look at Ji Yunxi at all.

HIs whole person even trembled slightly.

It was freezing cold today. Ji Yunxi gathered her fur cloak and said with concern: “Young Master, do you feel cold?”

Wu Wei’an turned his head, took a quick look at Second Wu next to him, and quickly lowered his head again.

Second Wu’s cheeks were flushed by the cold and upon seeing this, he bowed to Ji Yunxi again: “My elder brother has not been good at talking with people since he was a child. Please don’t be offended, Third Miss.”

“Oh.” Ji Yunxi nodded, expressing her understanding, and well intentionally asked Second Wu, “Then, does your elder brother feel cold?”

Second Wu really wanted to cry, but he still respectfully helped to answer: “My elder brother’s health is not that good, and he has been afraid of cold since he was a child.”

“It turns out to be so.” Ji Yunxi understood and handed the exquisite and gorgeous hand-warmer stove to Baofu who was on the side.

Baofu took the hand-warmer stove, strode forward and stopped in front of Wu Wei’an.

Wu Wei’an took a look, hurriedly bowed his head and shrunk back behind his younger brother again.

Baofu sullenly took away Wu Wei’an’s ugly hand-warmer stove without giving the other party any chance to speak at all.

Wu Wei’an’s hand were empty and it remains hanging in the same posture of holding the ugly hand-warmer stove with his five fingers.

Baofu took a look and stuffed Ji Yunxi’s hand-warmer stove into it.

When it falls into his hand, it feels warm like a spring, with a trace of femine fragrance in it.

Of course, the most exciting thing is that there are several jade stones on top of it.

Wu Wei’an subconsciously grasped it tightly.

Ji Yunxi took all of it in with clear eyes, and said to him: “Mine is a bit warmer.”

Wu Wei’an looked as if he had been forced and didn’t dare to refuse it. His voice was weak: “Thank, thank you Third, Third Miss.”

“You’re welcome, Young Master.” Ji Yunxi just came over to give a gift and planned to leave once it was done.

It’s really cold after all.

This group of aristocratic children are too used to living a good life every day. They can’t stay inside a warm spring-like house and like to come out to blow the cold wind and sing poetry against each other instead.

What a disease.

But before turning around, a faint female voice came from behind: “Are, are you Third Miss Ji?”

The tone is somewhat similar to that of Wu Wei’an.

Ji Yunxi turned around to look.

The person who came was a slender woman. In this winter snow, the turquoise dress she was wearing set off her elegant face into a more delicate and touching face.

Never seen her.

Baofu asked: “My Miss is indeed Third Miss Ji. Who are you again?”

The woman bowed to Ji Yunxi: “Third Miss, this humble one is Yang Yiqing of Dan County.”

Oh, shit!

The informed young ladies watching the play nearby whispered excitedly: “Yang Yiqing of Dan County! The one Yang Weitian wants to marry!”

Baofu has always been well aware of the gossip in the capital like it is the back of her hand.

Her face suddenly turned bad, for fear that the other party was here to show off: “My Miss has some matter and has to go back to the house.”

The subtext is, just go away. There’s no time to talk to you.

But this Yang Yiqing obviously has something to say and doesn’t want to let them leave so easily.
