Chapter 4 - Massacre
The white bird chirping flew around her in circle annoyed her, Luo Ri Yi find unused rope near the wall and also broken hoe, she tight the rope with the broken hoe together then she swings the rope and threw it above the wall, the hoe stuck on the wall neatly she pulls the rope to check if it's strong enough, until the hoe not budging she used the rope to climb the wall, less then a minute she already on the top of the wall, she takes the same rope to help her climb down.
her feet land on the ground gently, she look around make sure no one see her since it's crime for servant left without permission after she sure she was alone she moves behind the bush and enter the forest behind the Manor she's following the sound who only a few meters from the wall fence, suddenly she smells pungent scent that she knew too well then she was surprised by the lifeless corpses scattered on the ground, there's a bunch of men with black clothes and covering their faces just like 'Ninja', most of them lost some of their limbs the cut is clean and neat without hesitation whoever did this is expert and very strong, Luo Ri Yi step over some of the corpses the white bird follow behind her quietly, she finds more men corpses lay face down on the ground may be dozens more of them, she wondered what kinda beast they fighting for.
Suddenly she heard the sound of man moaning, Luo Ri Yi did not dare to approach whatever it is hastily with so many casualties only God's know how dangerous her opponent would be but she did not back down she just can't fight her curiosity nature, step by step she moves quietly she took out small knife from inside her sleeve, the sound of heavy breath getting clearer she holds her breath. But what she saw is a man with exquisite black robes covering with blood all over his body he breathes faintly fresh blood soaked his robes he was wounded deeply this man probably would die from blood loss.
But what stunned Luo Ri Yi is not the blood or the wound but his faces, he got the most beautiful faces that Luo Ri Yi ever sees in her entire lives and she had been lived for a long time, that kinda faces as if the God's took more time carving his face.
The Bird pecked her cheeks to wake her from her dazed. Luo Ri Yi glared at the bird she pushes the bird away and approach the man who is unconscious leaning to the big three with his hand still held his sword tightly, Lory touch his chest she can feel his heart still beating slowly, then she found a jade plaque on his wrist with Xin name on it. Luo Ri Yi stunned only one man who had this, he is the sixth prince Zhao Li Xin the most unfavorable Prince of Jiangwei Kingdom or so the rumor said.
Luo Ri Yi stares at the young handsome prince maybe only twenty-two years old or younger but he already through so much hated by his owned father, ignored by his owned Mother and he still managed to survive this far 'Young and Tragic' in his owned way he reminded her with her Brother. The Prince breath become weak he tighten his grip refused to give up, she watching him struggle between life and death, at first she didn't want to get interfere she don't want to use her power she had the cursed that's not allowed her to used her power anymore and if she dared the cost would be devastating.
[Lory….don't be reckless!!] Girsha the little white bird said with reprimand tone. The birds talked with Harlandish language to reason with her.
But her heart becomes restless, her heart beating faster Luo Ri Yi bite her lower lips try to make decision but the prince grip become weaker his breath becomes slower and faint her heart suddenly become panic, he clenched her palm and she closed her eyes and purple light emerged from her palm 'Just this once' Lory said to herself, her black eyes turn purple she slowly put her one hand on the Prince chest and another to his cheek and suddenly the prince body illuminated with soft light purple and the wound on the Prince body slowly disappears as if it's never there at the first place his breathing become lighter and stronger.
"May the light guide your way even in the darkest path young Prince…" she whispered softly in his ear.
The prince wakes up abruptly he grips his sword out of reflex but no one there, only him and corpses of his enemy she is alone in the forest leaning to the old tree he only hear the bird chirping and the sound of leaf, he frowned out of confusion he supposed to be dead he not just wounded by blade but his old cold poisoned suddenly reacted that's why the enemy managed to hurt him this is his old diseases she had carry since he was a kid. Zhao Li Xin checked his wound on her chest and arms but he did not find anything only faint scar but what most surprised him is his body condition he feels very light and strong he doesn't remember the last time he felt this way maybe never, he got up and checked his pulsed and he is right his old poisoned has gone...…how? Who?

Deep in the woods Lory clenched his chest, she felt someone squeeze her heart Lory gritted her teeth she tried not to scream but the squeeze is getting tighter, her body shaking profusely her conscious started drifting away.
[Lory fight it!!!] Girsha screams awaken her from her almost unconscious stated.
Suddenly half her skin turn dark and scales emerged on her neck and face, her eyes turn yellow her eyes pupil shrink into crescent just like snake eyes, she struggles to control herself she can feel something try to take over her consciousness, the bird transforms into white orbs and pierce through her chest, something fighting inside her as fire and ice collide inside her at the same time.
[You will not have me!!!] she begins to chant [IT'S MINE, IT WOULD NEVER BE YOURS !!!]
Lory begin to scream and her body engulf with purple lights and the lights shine brighter and brighter made everything around her is illuminated by purple lights then suddenly the darkness on her body dissipated little by little the scales also disappeared gradually, her eyes returned to normal and her heart beating normally, Lory lean tiredly on the tree, she panting heavily. White orbs flew out of her chest and turned to little bird, the bird nestles on her laps he looks tired and very worried
[Girl you so reckless] he takes a long exhales.
