Chapter 164 - Special Blood

She laughs dryly Zhao Li Xin immediately approaches her he wants to check her wound but Lory pulls her wrist toward her chest "No! I need this!" she stops him "I'm not hurt..." she calms him down.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Zhao Li Xin shouts furiously, Lory never saw him angry this much towards her before so she was frozen for a few seconds, Zhao Li Xin grabs her hand to see her wound the other also worried they don't know why suddenly she hurt her hand.

Zhao Li Xin eyebrows creased deepen if anything he hated more then saw her cry that is when he saw her bleed and he hated it even more when she didn't treasure herself because she meant the world for him.

"I…I'm sorry" Lory sadly said "I have a reason…." She retract her hand from his hand, she lift her hand above the bowl and slowly drip-drip-dripped her blood fill the bowl, then she realize her wound is closing sooner than she thought then she realize is because Zhao Li Xin necklace on her neck.

"Li Xin, help me take off my necklace"

"Why?" he didn't immediately help her the used of that necklace is to protect her so he needs a good reason to let her take off the necklace.

"My wound heal too fast" Lory complaining.

"That is the purposed…" he reminds her.

"I know but not now…"

"Why….?"

Lory sigh, she wants to explain it but everyone looking at her with weird expression only then she realizes she should not be to hasty, if they know what she could do what would they think, she might be prosecuted as a witch and they definitely fear her or threaten by her they even hate people who couldn't cultivate moreover someone like her, even Zhao Li Xin would get implicated because of her.

"It's an array that I read in the book at... Hei Shen library? Lory make a quick excuse to hinder their suspicion, the elders and the others expression eased after they hear her explanation coincidently there is some ancient method in every skill when it comes to using a blood as a material, some alchemist used divined beast blood to make a pill some armament master even used material from high-level beast to created a weapons so is not weird if there's an array who used human blood.

"Well is a secret methode so I can let other people to see it…" Lory smiles slightly stiffed thankfully they didn't notice it.

She glad Jin Hao help her but she's not sure what his intention is, not like Bei Li Yan she aware Jin hao and Zhao Li Xin are quite alike both of them didn't like interfere with other people problem.

said Mu Jan Ge "But, what about Mong Zi he still weak so we can't move him"

Yang Xi Ying can only put all her hopes on Lory and her people if they failed she doesn't know what else she could do, she might lose him for good, she looks at the once vigorous man she met before her heart aching for him, Li Mo Zhen smile weakly at her beautiful face who slightly thinner than he remember she might not living well because of him, all he wants is to make her happy but who knew he would be suffer because of him.

The Elders and Yang Xi Ying leave the room, leaving only her, Jin Hao, Li Mong Zi and Zhao Li Xin and suddenly things become awkward especially because Lory still holding her dagger and she thinking to make another cut because the old wound is closed and the bleeding is stopped, Girsha watch her then he sigh maybe is not bad idea for her to be scolded by Zhao Li Xin because she got more reckless everyday.

"Uhmm…." Lory nervously look at Zhao Li Xin stern gaze "I need to make another…cut…"

Zhao Li Xin eyes become twice darker than he ever be "Explain…." It's more like a command than a question.

"The blood is not enough to make...I want to created…" she said weakly like little kid who got reprimand by her parents.

"Then used my blood" said Zhao Li Xin.

Lory shakes her head "It can't, it has to be my blood…"

"Why…." He didn't hide his annoyance.

Jin Hao and Li Mo Zhen also waiting what her reason is, Jin Hao also very curious he had a feeling he would have clue if he knows what she about to do, he not dare to probe Lory further because of Zhao Li Xin and he was tortured by his curiosity ever since but now he has opportunity to divulge some of her secrets how could he let go.

"My blood is different…" Lory pursed her lips "Please, let me do it! it didn't hurt as much though…" she wants to comfort her but it only makes Zhao Li Xin more annoyed so she quickly clamps her mouth shut.

Both of them start starring contests for a few minuted not like before Zhao Li Xin didn't show any sign given up perhaps watching her hurting herself is touch his bottom lines, Jin Hao who watching them from a side become impatient.

"Miss, I think you must explain to Milord what exactly you want to do" he sighs tiredly no one told him how stubborn his future madam could be.

Lare takes along a deep breath, Jin Hao is right considered how much he used to pamper her is normal for him to be angry with her maybe if her dad or Lucas here they would also angry with her, no one likes to see their loved one hurting themselves. She put down the dagger then she let Zhao Li Xin cover her hand temporary with a handkerchief.

"Okay…" she helplessly said.

Then she looks at Li Mong Zi "Master Li there something I'm about to do, can you keep it secret?"

Li Mong Zi frown "When I'm still in 'that' condition I can feel it something is not right, something who does not belong to this world….it's suffocating me as I'm drowning in a darkness, I try and try to keep breathing, I try to keep my conscious intact but I know…..i fight so long I have reached my end" he look defeated and exhausted then he lifts his head.

"Then I hear a voice….your voice and I see the light, it's dimmed but it's there, you don't know how happy…. I don't even have a word to describe this feeling" his hand clenches the blanket a tear fall on his hand "You save me from that….darkness, I will give my life for you if I have to!"

"In the darkness, what do you feel" Lory sits on the edged of the bed.

Li Mo Zhen grimace "Anger…..a lot of anger, hated, resentment, grief…..so much grief is like I'm engulfed by it, I never been in such grief even when my parents are gone, it's driving me crazy"

Lory let out a long heaved, then she rose from the bed "One of the reasons your condition is because something inside that box but I don't know is it the source or not, and I don't know how dangerous that thing is" then she looked at Zhao Li Xin "What I'm about to do is something that you had seen inside the ancestor crystal is the same blood circle around the crystal"

"You want to created something like that?"

"Yes, it's a blood rune an ancient method to draw power from the blood, I want to create a shield to contain the malice from whatever inside that box before it hurt any of you" Lory's eyes remain warry for the long box on the table.

"And you said it have to your blood, may I know why?" Jin Hao takes this opportunity to probe since he knew his Lord would asking the same.

Lory chuckles "Brother Jin, you must be curious who I am don't you" she teased him.

"Well…" he can't refuse her.

"You are Zhao Li Xin subordinated soon or later you will found out about this rather than let you die out of curiosity it's better to tell you" Lory smiles calmly "I'm not from this world, my world is far far away from here, if you ask me how I come here or why I come here….I don't know either" because she supposed to be dead but somehow she survives, how? She doesn't know either.

Jin Hao kinda expected it but nonetheless he still shocked, very shocked actually until his brain forcefully shut down for a few minutes, Lory let him digest her words, Li Mo Zhen also stunned but not as much as Jin Hao, he feel more excited than surprised though.

"Okay…" Jin Hao's brain starts to running again, he pinches his temples to make sure he's not dreaming.

After he looks calmer, Lory continues "You asked about my blood, that because my blood is…special" she smiles mischievously she didn't explain it further, too soon afterall…

"Is there no other way?" Zhao Li Xin didn't care about where or why she comes from, the idea of her cut herself is already disturbed him tremendously.

"I'm afraid not" she regrettably said.

Zhao Li Xin let out exasperated sigh "Fine…Jin Hao you have the ointment to repressed pained"

"Yes Milord" he wave his hand and green bottle appear on his hand, he give it to Zhao Li Xin courteously.

Zhao Li Xin take Lory hand he takes off the handkerchief then he smear the ointment on her wound the tingling sensation make her grimace slightly her reflex make her want to retract her hand but Zhao Li Xin didn't let her he smear the ointment all over her wound then he bandage her wound with gauze only after he finished he let her go.

Lory think his done but then he takes the other hand of her, he smears the ointment on her, lory confused why he treated her hand that didn't hurt, he covers all over her hand with the ointment only after he satisfied he looking at her, at last, he takes off her necklace.

"Now, you won't feel pained no matter how deep is your cut, so let's do this!"
