Ji Yuan was now examining the powerful barrier in front of him with his divine sense. As he did so, so did the members of his group.
He was naturally with his old man the White Sword Monarch and 10 of the female cultivators of his group. Or rather, these female cultivators were all the members of his harem.
Also with him were 35 other cultivators and many of them were from the Endless Celestial Fraternity and were even in the White Sword Celestial Clan.
This caused the White Sword Monarch to laugh jovially, "It seems that I am not so lonely after all."
Right now, everyone was examining the sealed barrier in front of them.
Yun Chi smiled and said nonchalantly, "It seems that the profound strength of the cultivators is necessary to open this sealed barrier. The number of cultivators actually did not matter."

Everyone was startled, including the White Sword Monarch.
"What did you just do?" The White Sword Monarch looked curiously at Yun Chi; he was actually thinking of forcing his way through this sealed barrier with Ji Yuan if the combined profound strength of all the cultivators were still not enough.
Yun Chi smiled nonchalantly, "Nothing really. I happen to know a thing or two about unraveling sealed barriers. Since this trial is in the final section, it may be interesting to explore the trial here. So let's go in?"
Ji Yuan rolled his golden eyes when he had heard Yun Chi; he knew very well the depth of her profound strength.
But he said nothing and instead he was smiling as he said to the maidens in his group. "Let's go in!"
Soon everyone walked into the valley of darkness but they were all cautious.
It was because they could sense the presence of numerous powerful arrays in this place; for all they know, the trial may have already started!
Zhan Wuji said as they walked cautiously in the darkness, "We have more than forty cultivators here. Do we need to be so afraid? Moreover we have Great Saint Ji Yuan and the White Sword Monarch here."
The short old man frowned at him, "It is better to be safe…"
Ji Yuan began to rub his chin, "Yea. I totally agree with this…"
Ling Feiyue had suddenly pulled Ji Yuan to walk in front and said weakly, "Ji Yuan! Stop thinking too much! Safe or not safe, we will handle this for you."
Many of the maidens including Bai Qianfeng were nodding weakly as they looked awkwardly at Ji Yuan.

Yun Chi had suddenly pushed himself forward as she whispered in his ears with her divine whisper profound art, "At this moment, you are our mascot. So you ought to act as awesome as possible."
When Ji Yuan had heard her, he was laughing softly as he stood upright with righteousness and said to the rest of the cultivators that were all moving in the same direction. "Follow me! Haha…"
But at the same time, he was whispering to Yun Chi. "Erm, I have an uneasy feeling about this place. I can walk in front but erm, try to keep me safe."
Yun Chi giggled softly, "I won't let my lord dies in this place."
When she was giggling, Bai Qianfeng, the Lovely Empress, Zhi Jiugong and the Smiling Divine Maiden were all giggling softly behind.
The Lovely Empress could not resist adding, "Ji Yuan is no hero of mine!"
Even Ling Feiyue, Little Princess, Feng Minyue, Yang Mi and Yu Jingjing were all giggling softly.
Ji Yuan muttered almost incoherently, "This sounds a little suspicious coming from the Death God."
Yun Chi quickly displayed an unhappy look at Ji Yuan as she kicked him to move faster; she had heard him alright even though it was really soft. It was because she was the one that had given him his desolate cherubim and through the connected spirits, she was able to discern Ji Yuan's almost incoherent protest.
Soon Ji Yuan and the rest of the cultivators had come to another section of the mysterious valley and there was a black stele in front of them.
All the cultivators were immediately probing with their divine senses on the black stele to discern the messages that were on it.
It read;

This is a valley of darkness and death.
At least 8 cultivators in each team are required to enter the Valley of the Darkness.
In the Valley of the Darkness, cultivators are not going to teach their sons no more, and sons will be cowards.
