Chapter 16: It’s too late for that!

Yan Ruiqing, who also got off at the same bus stop, saw the two hugging each other from a distance and his face involuntarily sank.

“Let’s go quickly. The museum staff will soon be going on their lunch breaks.” Li Hao reminded him.

He had obviously made some route plans too.

Yan Ruiqing nodded and looked back.

Since they are in a cooperative relationship, there’s no need for them to be deadlocked. Anyways, his purpose here was just to kick Shen Yu out of this variety show.

Not far from them, the one who wore the persona of a villain was currently feeling very desperate. Even in his dreams, he was still trying to get a divorce certificate so he could stay away from the sickly Male Lead who was getting more and more perverted.

“Rui-ge, have you seen a psychiatrist lately?” Shen Yu asked in a low voice, his eyes a little tentative.

The camera following them could smell gossip and seemed to point at him as if asking, “Did you go?”

Feng SiRui was expressionless, “Been busy these days, didn’t go.”

“That’s not good!” Shen Yu’s tone sounded greatly exaggerated, “No matter how busy you are, you should still pay attention to your mental health!”

“You’re so stressed up because of work and I can’t help much. I can only care about you more…”

Feng SiRui raised an eyebrow and glanced at him

There’s no need for you to help.

Just scold me less in your heart, that’s enough to relieve a lot of stress.

Realizing that the privacy of the sickly CEO was getting involved, Shen Yu kept his mouth shut.

The museum they went to was one with a long history in country A. As the protection of key cultural relics requires high costs, thus tickets are a little expensive.

The rules of the variety show required that the attractions must be fully explored in order for the mission to be considered successful, so spending money here is essential.

Li Hao had already gone to the queue to buy tickets.

Yan Ruiqing stood at the entrance waiting for him. When he saw Shen Yu and Feng SiRui approaching him, he looked like he wanted to greet them but was afraid of causing trouble.

[If the show team selects people next time, can they choose more carefully? Although I really want to see Husband Feng on camera, that Shen Yu is really disgusting!]

[He’s too arrogant and domineering. Look at our Qingqing, he dares not let out even a small sound!]

However, the location where Yan Ruiqing was standing was the only way to enter the museum. Whether a person buys a ticket or not, they still had to pass by there.

If he had really wanted to avoid them, why does he stand there?!

“Rui-ge…” Yan Ruiqing called softly with his eyes looking down.

Before Feng SiRui could answer, Shen Yu stepped forward again, “A good dog won’t block the way.”

“Aren’t you going to buy a ticket?” Yan Ruiqing was a little surprised.

“I just need to show my face, what kind of ticket do I need to buy?” Shen Yu said sarcastically.

This time, not only was Yan Ruiqing surprised but even Feng SiRui who was standing beside him, looked at him with suspicion.

Feng SiRui has been to the museum of Country A before.

There is no VIP card here. No matter if you are a high-ranking official or a rich person, you must go to the ticket booth to buy a ticket. Otherwise, you can’t get in.

“Out of the way, out of the way…” Shen Yu said and reached out to push others out of the way.

Yan Ruiqing had to step away from the entrance and watch as Shen Yu and Feng SiRui arrogantly walked past the staff.

When Li Hao ran over, he could see that his partner’s face was not right. So he asked suspiciously, “What’s wrong?”

“Why were you gone for so long?!” Yan Ruiqing turned his head and said angrily.

His hold on his emotions suddenly failed.

It took him a few seconds to react, “I’m sorry, I was only in a hurry just now.”

Li Hao gave out a smile that really wasn’t a smile and said, “It’s fine, let’s go in.”

Yan Ruiqing nodded.

The two walked in side by side.

“How are we able to come in?” Feng SiRui couldn’t help but ask when he saw Shen Yu wander around without a clear explanation.

“Of course I just needed to show my face.” Shen Yu smiled perfunctorily.

—— ‘Dog man, your IQ is very bad. You still can’t guess the reason?!’

—— ‘Of course you can buy tickets online. You can buy two tickets with one ID card and there’s a 20% discount! Laozi is feeling generous today so I’ll pay for you this time.’

—— ‘Otherwise, even if you are a sickly CEO, you still have to be honest and stand in line with your butt pushed up!’

Feng SiRui, “…” Queuing is one thing, why does it have to involve pushing one’s butt up?!

Turns out you can buy tickets online in Country A?

Then he should be very proficient in English right?!

Feng SiRui thought of Shen Yu’s previous fluent tone and a picture suddenly flashed in his mind.

It was a blind date arranged by Grandpa Feng to match the two.

Inside a high-end Michelin star restaurant, Shen Yu held a full English menu and raised his head in embarrassment, “It’s better for you to order, I don’t understand anything.”

Feng SiRui let out a ‘humm’, took the menu and his black eyes fell on the person sitting in front of him, “How did you fool the old man?”

“Can you still enter the Feng family without any proper education?”

“Except for English, I’m very good at everything else!” Shen Yu’s expression was as sincere and attentive as he could be, as if all he was saying was the truth.

Thinking of that scene, Feng SiRui’s face darkened involuntarily and he sneered in his heart.

This person is good at hiding.

It would be such a waste if he doesn’t compete for an Oscar!

Although he was secretly slandering in his heart, Feng SiRui couldn’t help but follow Shen Yu who was standing in front of an oil painting and staring at it.

Since he obtained the ability to read minds, he suddenly discovered that there were unknown sides to Shen Yu.

Not only was his gun-like mouth powerful, but his brain also turned fast. He was even a little cute. He was like a mystery box. Every time it was opened, there would be different surprises.

Feng SiRui walked to Shen Yu’s side. Seeing the latter’s eyes staring at the painting with a hint of sadness, he asked curiously, “Do you like this painting?”

Immersed in the feelings of appreciation for the painting, Shen Yu spoke without thinking, “Well…”

“This painting is called The Unequal Marriage1. The young girl in the painting is young and beautiful but the old man who’s going to marry her is old and haggard…”

“The painter used a close-up painting to show us the wedding ceremony. Look at all of those who participated. All of those guests have disgusting-looking faces, representing the extremely unbalanced social relationship at that time…”

Shen Yu suddenly gave out a sigh, “You can see the helpless expression of the young girl. Her eyelids are swollen, she must have cried her eyes out the night before. But she still can’t do anything to go against those with power!”

“How pitiful, how pathetic and how similar to me…”

He spoke with excitement, as if he felt the same way. His eyes were red but then he turned his head to look at the handsome face of Feng SiRui who was exuding cold air all over his body.

—— ‘F*ck. Almost misspoke. When did the dog man even come here?!’

—— ‘He appeared like a ghost!’

Feng SiRui laughed angrily, “It seems that you have done a lot of research regarding oil paintings.”

“What kind of research is there…” Shen Yu laughed nervously and waved his hand around in guilt, “It’s all just nonsense coming from me!”

Feng SiRui’s expression remained unchanged and he took a step forward. His scorching breath sprayed on Shen Yu’s face, bringing a burst of scalding heat and he said, “At that time when we got married, you were the one who wanted it…”

Now you’re feeling as if you were forced to get married?!

Shen Yu concealed his fear and took a step back involuntarily. But he was suddenly locked in place by Feng SiRui’s hand on his waist and he was hugged forward.

Their bodies pressed against each other tightly in an instant and a dangerous voice fell in his ear.

“Do you regret it now?!”

Feng SiRui then sneered,

“Ah, it’s too late for that!”
