CH 35

Feng Jinghe was taken aback when he heard that voice. He then remembered the name on the phone screen. He couldn’t help pursing his lips and chuckling, “Ge, why are you calling so late?”

“What does it have to do with you?!” Feng SiRui was not polite, “Where’s Shen Yu?”

“He went to the bathroom. He should be out in a while…” Feng Jinghe said with a smile, “Ge, don’t worry. My sister-in-law can handle alcohol very well.”

‘Can handle alcohol well?!

Why does this sentence sound so provocative?!’

“Tell me the location of the hotel!” Feng SiRui sat up from the bed, got up, and walked outside.

‘What did Shen Yu agree with before?!

Didn’t he say no intimate scenes?!

Now he’s on set, showing his waist, drunk and flirting with Feng Jinghe.

How could he not have any intimate scenes?!’

Although his actions had nothing to do with it, Feng SiRui still thought deeply about it.

“Ge, you better not come here…” Feng Jinghe leaned his back against the wall of the room, his sight aimed at the occupied bathroom. With a sarcastic tone, he really sounded like a green tea b*tch, “If you let my sister-in-law know that you’re trying to come here the day he just joined the film crew, what do you think he will think?”

“What?” Feng SiRui stopped in his tracks.

“Of course he will think that you don’t trust him!” Feng Jinghe continued to add, “If you don’t even have this kind of trust between partners. Your marriage won’t last long.”

“What do you understand? You haven’t even gotten married.” Feng SiRui’s expression obviously loosened.

Feng Jinghe smiled self-deprecatingly, “Although I haven’t gotten married, I’ve been in a lot of relationships…”

“These relationship things should be interlinked right?”

“Ge, I remember that you seemed to have gotten married without cultivating feelings…”

“It’s a pity. If you could have accumulated more experience maybe your relationship with sister-in-law could’ve eased a lot.”

Feng SiRui’s eyes were sharp for a moment, “What do you mean?”

“Did Shen Yu tell you anything?”

Feng Jinghe smiled, “Wasn’t it…”

“Being ambiguous with others, being fierce and domineering towards him and often ignoring his feelings…”

“I’ve never heard of such a thing before.”

Feng SiRui didn’t answer. He just hung up the phone directly and stood there alone in the dark, his face terribly cold.

“Who was looking for me?” Shen Yu came out of the bathroom soon after. He saw Feng Jinghe holding his mobile phone, and asked aloud.

“I don’t know, but the screen name showed ‘Dog man’.” Feng Jinghe shrugged, “When I picked it up, he hung up.”

‘The dog man is your brother.’

Shen Yu couldn’t just say these words.

It went against his infatuated personality!

Shen Yu rushed up and snatched his phone back, “You can go now.”

“Teacher Shen, can you stop being so resistant towards me?”

Feng Jinghe obviously didn’t intend to leave, “After all, we have to play rivaling roles in the future. It’s not good for our relationship to be so tense.”

Although Shen Yu drank a little too much, his mind was still conscious, “Rest assured, I’m very professional and won’t show it.”

Feng Jinghe stared at him with an inquiring look on his face, “Actually, I’m a bit puzzled. Why do you hate me so much?!”

‘Not only do I hate you, I also hate anyone else with the surname Feng!’

‘Ah, except for Elder Feng.’

“Do I still need a reason to hate you?!” Shen Yu walked towards the door and opened it, “Please continue, I’m going to go rest.”

Feng Jinghe smiled, didn’t say anything, and just stepped out.

Lying on his bed after taking a shower, Shen Yu hesitated about whether to call the dog man back. But after thinking about it, he decided not to.

If something important had happened, he should’ve called again.

This reason was too assuring that Shen Yu turned over and fell asleep without burden.

Feng SiRui didn’t stay in the villa after all that. He drove back to the city center to live in his flat. He went to the company early the next day and called the secretary in.

“Have you found out?”

The secretary felt a little nervous as he put a stack of documents on the desk. “I didn’t find much information…”

“Just tell me.” Feng SiRui leaned back in his chair, his face a little pale and haggard. It looked like he didn’t sleep well last night.

His expression was a little grim.

“The web drama ‘The Path of the Jade Sword’ was bought by a foreign company. It started preparing for IP development very early on…”

“This company is called Sen Hua and it was founded by a Chinese person. It’s said that their background is very legendary and mysterious. No one knows their real background…”

“Sen Hua has grown rapidly in the last 20 years and it is involved in various fields in Country A. It can be said that the company has a deep foundation and is as rich as a country, but…”

Feng SiRui frowned, “But what?”

The secretary paused and continued, “But Sen Hua has never set foot in the film industry. ‘The Path of the Jade Sword’ is their first investment. The amount used for investment is also very large, it should be about 100 million.”

“This is just news that an insider revealed. The specific situation isn’t clear.”

Feng SiRui nodded slightly, repeating the name to himself silently, “Sen Hua.”

He had heard of this name before and it was indeed as powerful as the secretary had said.

Their strength wasn’t as superficial either.

It was absolutely impossible for them to monopolize most of the capital chain of Country A in just 20 years if they had no connections within the country.

Thinking of this, Feng SiRui’s face darkened as he secretly slandered,

‘Why would a company like Sen Hua choose to invest in this and appoint Shen Yu as the Male Lead?!’

After finally obtaining the opportunity to film a TV series, Shen Yu was so excited that he woke up early. He walked out of the room after washing up and prepared to go to the opening ceremony venue.

Unfortunately for him, the road was narrow1 as he actually met a smiling face that seemed weird to look at.

“Teacher Shen, good morning.” Feng Jinghe greeted energetically.

Shen Yu glanced at him and gave him a ‘hmm’ arrogantly.

The elevator door opened and Shen Yu hurriedly got in. He turned around and saw Feng Jinghe following behind him without saying anything.

“Want to have breakfast together?” Feng Jinghe pressed the elevator button.

“No, I’m going out for a morning run. I’ll come back and eat after running…” Shen Yu refused.

He had an intuition that the younger generation of the Feng Family were no fun to play with, so he avoided them as much as he could.

Feng Jinghe turned his face to the side, “Teacher Shen likes sports very much?”

“Which sport do you like? Maybe one day we can learn from each other.”

Shen Yu smiled fakely, “I really like fighting the most, the kind where fists meet flesh. Do you want to learn?”

Feng Jinghe was taken aback. He then glanced at his thin-looking figure and said with a smile, “Okay, I happened to have studied for two years.”

“In the future, I’ll go easy on Teacher Shen.”

Shen Yu rubbed his nose, looking a little absent-minded, “Really? Then I’ll thank you in advance…”

“But, it’s settled. I won’t let you renege…”

“Don’t cry when the time comes.”

Feng Jinghe’s expression froze. Just as he was about to speak, the elevator door opened and Shen Yu ran out directly.

‘Cry?

Interesting.’

Feng Jinghe’s eyes flashed slyly as the corners of his mouth curled up evily2.

‘When the time comes, the one crying will be you.’

‘Will Feng SiRui feel distressed?!’
