“Ahhh… Nee-sama must be playing with the cats around this time.”
William slumped on his desk and muttered listlessly.
“Joshua also took a leave today. And we can’t meet with His Highness nor Arthur-sama too often since they’re so busy.”
George looked relaxed and refreshed after changing his clothes at the end of the Practical Skill for Hunter class. They didn’t take the same class as Joanna, and oddly enough, they had never come across her since then.
“I’m surprised our school life can be this peaceful when Nee-sama isn’t around.”
Nothing happened.
They didn’t get tangled with weird students, no accidents happened, and no one got hurt.
“I guess this is just what’s normal, though…”
George, who felt this kind of school life was boring in its own way, had been quite corrupted by his oddball sister.
“…Well, Nee-sama has a crazy knack for studying, so I don’t worry about her studies. But still…”
*sigh*… William looked over his surroundings.
They were currently in the Monster Science class after Practical Skill for Hunters. The young ladies who took the Embroidery class hadn’t arrived in the classroom yet.
The classroom was very quiet even though half of it was filled with students.
Until a few days ago, several students came to George and William to ask about Emma’s condition. Even though the brothers answered that she was doing great, it didn’t seem to get through to the students, as they only nodded back with a sad smile.
And even today, everyone was looking at George and William from afar with a sad smile plastered on their faces.
“Hey Nii-sama, I heard a rumor that Nee-sama had been unconscious for five days already and hadn’t eaten any proper-looking meal for more than two weeks.”
With an iffy face, William added that he happened to hear it when he entered the toilet booth earlier.
“…Are they talking about my younger sister? My younger sister, who pretended to help prepare breakfast this morning to sneakily eat some rice while making rice balls and, in the end, got scolded by Mother?”
More than half a sack of rice vanished because of a certain little glutton’s appetite.
“Yes. They are talking about that younger sister of yours, Nii-sama.”
“…I just hope they won’t backbite Emma again when they see her suddenly coming to school in good health one day… Huff, no matter if she’s with me or not, she gives me a headache regardless,” George also heaved a long sigh.
However, these two didn’t know that even their current behavior was being observed by the noble male students around them.
“Oi, look. The tough George-sama is making such a melancholic expression…”
“I knew it. That rumor must be…”
“William-sama is also holding his head with a deep frown.”
“Holding back their desire to go home immediately to nurse after their sister, those two are attending their classes at the academy as per usual… all because that is Emma-sama‘s wish!”

When the twins entered the Monster Science classroom after the Embroidery class was over, most of the students inside had tears in their eyes.
“Did something happen?
Francesca asked William, who had been slumping listlessly in his chair since the Practical Skill for Hunters class ended, but this was just how he usually was.
“Eh? What is?”
“Nothing. I just feel like the classroom’s atmosphere is a little bleak…?”
William didn’t seem to understand the question, so Marion asked about the same thing to George too.
“…Hm? Isn’t it because everyone is just tired after Practical Skill for Hunters?”
George checked his surroundings and shrugged his shoulders, saying it was the same as usual.
“Hey, hey, Caitlyn? Seeing the students like this, those two must have done something, right?”
“Hey, hey, Catherine? Sure enough, these two are Emma-sama‘s brothers after all. They are exactly alike in this aspect…”
The twins peeked at George and William’s vacant look and laughed at their resemblance with Emma.
