Chapter 688: Nuke?

Buzzing noise started blaring out everywhere disrupting Shadowslash, he instantly realised that he was assaulted by a sound attack which made him laugh inwardly.

He took a deep breath and let's out a loud dragon roar that stunned everyone in the area, without any surprises he follows up with a dragon breath causing sea of flames to burn the insects protecting one of the Supreme Poison Clan.

The other members of the Supreme Poison Clan started to feel dread as they saw their members dying one by one, just as Shadowslash was about to kill another one, he stops on his track and punch to the side.

Boom! Vlaze and him were pushed back because of their attacks, Vlaze is very confident on his strength but he couldn't help but feel dread when he and Shadowslash collided earlier.

There is also an additional fact that his hand was now burning, Shadowslash wouldn't let such a chance go, he would only get stronger as the sun continue to rise.

Vlaze was a powerful for him, his strength is actually comparable to him and this is when he activates [Heavenly Solar Dragon Form], insects are truly powerful beings that could lift objects incomparable to their sizes.

Vlaze knew that he was in a disadvantage without hesitation he shouted to his group "Buy me some time! I am going all out!"

He then flew backwards, Shadowslash wouldn't let him as he opens his mouth and was about to let's out a powerful dragon breath but his instinct told him about an incoming danger.

Boom! An extremely great explosion occured that sent everyone including Shadowslash flying away, the explosion was created after the dragon breath collided with the colorful gas and just like oil, it was set ablazed.

Shadowslash shook his head, his ears were ringing because of the earlier explosion, he couldn't help but look to the direction of the colorful gas and his eyes widen as he saw that the human shaped gas have become smaller.

He knew that explosion earlier have caused by large amount of the colorful gas being set ablazed by his dragon breath, without hesitation he charged towards the colorful gas with rising killing intent.

The human shaped gas saw this and knew that he and Shadowslash shouldn't collide once again, his gas is extremely powerful but it seems that it had found its nemesis and became extremely combustible.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Rain of arrows started flying towards Shadowslash, this doesn't deter him, when the arrows reached an extremely close distance, he use his powerful yang Qi to create an shield that covers him.

The tip of the arrows were extremely poisonous and the power behind the attack is also powerful but his yang Qi counters this, it first decrease the power behind the arrow before incinerating them.

The human shaped gas knew that it's situation isn't looking too good since none of his teammates are able to stop Shadowslash, without hesitation he decided to abandon his current form and use all the gas to self destruct together with his enemy.

Boom! An incredibly powerful and loud explosion occured, none of those in the area were spared, even Vlaze who was in the process of metamorphosis was sent flying.

Meowy and the others who were watching from afar immediately felt their hairs rising from their body, without hesitation they gathered and created a giant cat made entirely out of monster Qi.

The cat let's out a cry but even with it none could stop the power of the blast, fortunately for Meowy and her group they are quite far from the center of the blast.

But even then they were still affected, they were thrown backwards and none of them manage to take the aftershock of the explosion.

A couple of minutes later the entire area have now become scorching hot wasteland, Shadowslash managed to survive even though he experienced the strongest power of the explosion, even though he managed to survive he was injured gravely.

After coughing up some blood he tried to stand up but it was futile, fortunately for him the monster Qi of this world and the sun high up in the sky helps him recover at incredible speed.

With how powerful the explosion is, he was worried if it affected the pathway or have killed the One Hundred Poison Worm, his scarabs which are known for their tenacity was also reeling in shock after the explosion.

'What about Meowy and her group? Sh*t! I hope they are okay.' Recalling how powerful the explosion was and how wide the radius of its blast he couldn't help but worry.

When he finally was able to stand up, he didn't immediately check if his enemy were alive but search for Meowy and the others, he had the responsibility of taking care of them, not to mention only Meowy is able to activate the pathway to the higher plane of existence.

What he didn't know is that a couple of meters from him, Vlaze was breathing in a laboured manner, he was holding an egg that seems to be pulsating.

He then look at the egg one last time before it and him were swallowed by a cocoon like web, Shadowslash didn't know all of this as he was now busy searching for any traces of Meowy and the others.

After searching for nearly an entire day, he finally found Meowy and the others, they were unconscious and all of them were injured but fortunately none of them died.

He then brought them far from this location as he knew that it would take some time before the blistering heat and toxic smoke disperse, there is even a chance that this land wouldn't recover because of this two component and the chances were very high.

A month later, Meowy opens her eyes, she had used her bloodline skill to summon the Devil Cat Tribe Avatar but she and group were still blown away.

Recalling her group her expression changed and she was about to stand up but her head was a bit dizzy causing her to fall from her bed.

She was then startled to realised that she was in bed but before she could register what was happening sounds of footsteps could be heard, immediately she became nervous because from her sharp hearing she knew that there more than one person entering the room.

Then one by one people entered the room, judging from their appearance they don't seem to belong in only one tribe, there were individuals that belongs to a cat tribe, a couple belongs to a fox tribe and the remaining ones belongs to a wolf tribe.

Upon seeing her the people started swarming over her and grabs her before putting her back to the bed, a mature looking foxwoman spoke "You should rest first, I'll have the other bring you some food so that you'll be able to walk."

This sudden strange situation she got in causes Meowy to be stunned, suddenly more people enters the room, this time they belong to the human race, what was the strangest thing is that all of them were women.

"Is she finally awake?" Asks one of the humans, the other humans also started looking at her bed with worry.

"Don't worry, she was only feeling weak because she hadn't eaten for quite a long time." Said one of the Catwoman.

Upon hearing this the others heaved a sigh of relief, one of the human spoke in relief "Fortunately, after all lord Shadowslash said to look after them while he and others are confronting the flood dragon king."

Hearing Shadowslash's name Meowy instantly trembles, she then heard the word 'them' and realised that the human woman meant she wasn't the only one.

She couldn't help but asks in a anxious manner "Where are the others? Where is this? And what is your relationship with venerable Shadowslash?"

Upon seeing just how anxious she looks and sounds, the women immediately pacifies her "Do not worry miss, the others are fine, about this place? This city is a city that doesn't have any rulers because none of the rulers manage to live more than 100 years, as of now lord Shadowslash have took the position as the city lord."

Upon hearing that she was now in a city, she couldn't help but feel relieved, in this world a city is already considered quite a major power but after hearing that there are no city lords that was able to last more than 100 years in this city a certain name appear in her mind.

She couldn't help but exclaim "Do you mean that we are in Mortal City? The so called cursed city that will decrease the life of its ruler to that of a mortal?"

The women became silent when they heard this, from their expression Meowy instantly knew that her guess was right, she couldn't help but become more anxious.

"I need to warn lord Shadowslash!" The women inside the room were startled to see how much she struggles despite her weakened state.
