Tell me, what are you afraid of?

Ji Yu half-closed his eyes, his gaze slowly moving from Wen Qing’s red ears to his cheeks.

He looked very bashful. His white and delicate cheeks were smeared with pink, his thin lips were tightly pursed, and his eyelashes were trembling. He didn’t know where to look, seeming like a little animal at a loss.

Pitiful, adorable……

It made a tantalising desire rise in people’s hearts.

“Were you the one vote abstaining last night?” Ji Yu questioned.

Wen Qing nodded, and slowly said: “I, I can’t tell.”

Ji Yu asked again: “Even though Gong Yunyun was like that, you still didn’t feel like it was her?”

Wen Qing explained: “She only suspects me……”

Although he really hated Gong Yunyun, she was only thinking of clearance, and she was also affected by this villa……

Thinking of it this way, Wen Qing felt that the true main culprit was the system who pulled them into this game.

Wen Qing’s was bad at managing his expression. What he felt in his heart was written all over his face, and others could see it clearly.

Watching him, Ji Yu recalled quietly: “God’s most favored young human being……”

He laughed lightly, and softly said: “Si Kong should really like a child who laughs like you.”

Wen Qing was stunned, and a little bewildered: “Sir, do you know Si Kong?”

Ji Yu answered: “Only heard of him, I’m not familiar.”

Wen Qing was even more bewildered. If they weren’t familiar, why would he know what type Si Kong likes?

Wait…… Si Kong liked types like him?

Was Si Kong also gay?

Ji Yu saw that he was thinking nonsense. Pretending not to understand, he asked, “What’s wrong?”

“No, it’s nothing,” Wen Qing shook his head, “I just think that you and Si Kong have a good relationship.”

“To think that you two were pulled into this game together.”

The corners of Ji Yu’s lips lifted, and he hummed in response.

This type was also the type that Yu Xing and he liked to play with.

Wen Qing was about to continue reading when the door of the study was suddenly opened.

Boots stepped on the floor, followed by a rapid and ear-piercing screeching sound.

Wen Qing raised his eyes, and saw Li Si Wen’s thin and plaid face.

Her hair was pulled back messily, and she had two thick, dark circles under her eyes. Her eyes were red and bloodshot, and it was obvious that she didn’t get a good night’s rest or didn’t sleep at all.

The instant she saw Wen Qing, Li Si Wen’s unfocused eyes suddenly found focus. She stared firmly at Wen Qing, and sneered, “Wen Qing! You’re forming a faction again!”

Li Si Wen strode towards Ji Yu’s side: “Sir, you absolutely can’t be fooled by Wen Qing!”

“I thought about it all night and finally figured it out.”

Her eyes shone, her cheeks were flushed, and her body exuded an indescribable aura from the inside out, like the last burst of radiance before death.

“Yunyun wasn’t wrong, Wen Qing is definitely the guide.”

“Or else why would Yunyun push him? Yunyun definitely found a clue, but she hadn’t found any evidence when she was killed by him!”

“Sir, believe me, you absolutely can’t be fooled by him!”

While she was talking, Li Si Wen grew more and more agitated, wanting to grab onto Ji Yu’s shoulders.

Ji Yu slightly turned sideways, avoiding her contact calmly.

He stood up and motioned for Li Si Wen to sit down.

“You should calm down first. We’ve just made a new discovery.”

Li Si Wen slowly sat down. Her eyes kept falling on Wen Qing.

Wen Qing saw that her mood was growing more abnormal, and was scared that she would become the next Gong Yunyun.

If he stayed in the study, it would continue to affect her. He should leave first and let the teacher and her have a proper chat.

After hesitating for a moment, Wen Qing told Ji Yu: “Sir, I’ll head out first.”

“Alright.” Ji Yu nodded.

Wen Qing rose and left the room, and kindly closed the door for them.

Looking at the closed door of the study, Ji Yu lowly chuckled, and casually shut the book on the table.

Li Si Wen stroked her hair, put her hands on her knees, and looked like a good student. She asked softly, “Sir, what new discoveries were you talking about?”

Ji Yu shoved the book into the bookshelf casually, and lightly said, “Just now, we discovered that this villa will affect people’s mentality and emotions.”

“Do you feel like your mood isn’t quite right?”

Li Si Wen was stunned for a while, then nodded, “Seems like there’s a little.”

Ji Yu slowly asked: “Have you ever thought that the system might have told us who the guide was from early on?”

Li Si Wen: “Who is it?”

Ji Yu lowered his head, stared deeply into her eyes, and the rim of his lips smiled. “Have you suspected Chen Yiyi before?”

Li Si Wen was stunned. “No, I haven’t.”

“Who would suspect a lunatic, right?”

“Right……”

He walked to the door of the bedroom, opened the door carefully, and saw that Zhou Zhou was not there, and the small heart that was hanging high fell back to its original place.

When Wen Qing walked out of the study, he suddenly didn’t know where to go.

He thought about returning to the bedroom to wash up, but he was scared that Zhou Zhou was there.

He walked to the door of the bedroom and opened the door carefully. When he saw that Zhou Zhou wasn’t there, the little heart that had been hanging high fell back to its original place.

Wen Qing hurriedly washed up, using his fastest speed to wash his hair and bathe. With a head full of wet hair, he ran to the third floor to find Si Kong and ask clearly.

“Thump thump thump.”

“Come in.”

Wen Qing opened the door. Si Kong stood in front of the window, quietly staring at the white mist outside, as if he was looking at some sort of beautiful scenery. His eyebrows were very gentle, and it even had a little bit of tenderness.

Wen Qing blinked. The gentleness seemed to just be his illusion, disappearing in an instant. Si Kong’s expression returned to the familiar impatience and irritation.

“What happened?”

Wen Qing took a step in. The next second, Ji Yu’s words appeared in his mind.

Si Kong was gay.

He liked his type.

Wen Qing stopped walking and didn’t continue to head inside. He stopped at the doorway, and quietly said: “That…… what you said yesterday, I, I don’t really understand.”

Si Kong’s eyebrows tightened. His gaze swept over with obvious distaste.“What part don’t you understand?”

Wen Qing pursed his lips, and softly said: “The ‘them’ you mentioned, who are you talking about?”

Si Kong coldly spat out three words: “Everybody.”

Wen Qing blanked. “Everybody?”

“Including you?”

Si Kong: “Including me.”

Wen Qing: “???”

After being stunned for a while, he asked aloud, “Is it because everyone’s mood has become wrong?”

“In the study just now, teacher and I saw the clue you left……”

Wen Qing didn’t know what he said wrong in the second half of his sentence. He only saw Si Kong’s eyebrows furrowing tighter, and his expression becoming all the more unhappier.

Because he spoke nonsense?

Wen Qing didn’t dare to speak and awkwardly stood in place.

After a long while, Si Kong explained: “If you’re close to them, you’re easily influenced.”

Wen Qing answered and quietly thanked him. Then, he softly asked: “Do you know who the guide is? Or what it is?”

Otherwise, why would he say he could clear?

Si Kong lifted his eyelids and stared at him, not saying anything.

Wen Qing thought of him voting for Yu Xing and asked, “Is it Yu Xing?”

Si Kong snorted lightly. “No.”

Wen Qing couldn’t help but groan. His mind was in a mess.

Knowing Yu Xing wasn’t the guide, why did he still want to vote for him?

Before he could ask, he heard Si Kong explain: “Because my one vote doesn’t matter.”

Wen Qing’s mind was even messier. What did he mean?

Was it because Gong Yunyun was expected to have the most votes even before he voted?

Or because of something else?

Why did he still not speak clearly?

Does the god card not allow them to speak clearly?

…………

Wen Qing was still trying hard to rationalise his thoughts, when he suddenly heard Si Kong’s low and deep voice from coming above his head.

He raised his head. Si Kong had walked up to him at some point. His eyes were lowered as he indifferently looked at him: “Who are you voting tonight?”

Wen Qing truthfully said: “I don’t know.”

Si Kong said again: “No matter who it is, I can vote with you.”

His tone was very calm, like asking a friend what they should eat tonight.

If Wen Qing had any doubts, this sentence would be very tempting.

But Wen Qing didn’t have any. He only felt that Si Kong walked up to him with a knife and calmly asked him: who are you preparing to kill tonight? He could help.

Wen Qing’s back chilled.

He slowly stepped back, and stammered, “No, no need……”

“Not, not voting……”

Waiting until he stepped out the door, Si Kong slowly raised his hand, and closed the bedroom door.

“Bang——”

Facing the closed door, Wen Qing blinked. Inexplicably, thought appeared: Was Si Kong trying to scare him on purpose?

While he was thinking, he caught a glimpse of a figure from the corner of his eye, slowly walking towards him.

“Wen Qing.”

The corners of Zhou Zhou’s lips were slightly lifted up, but his eyes were gloomy, revealing his inner displeasure. The mixed emotions made the expression on his face very strange.

Wen Qing’s body stiffened, and he stood in place, not daring to move.

He suddenly realised something.

Zhou Zhou asking for Si Kong to vote for Yu Xing…… maybe it wasn’t because he suspected that Yu Xing was the guide, but simply because he wanted to kill him out of jealousy?

Zhou Zhou walked straight to him and lowered his eyes. “Why didn’t you go back to the bedroom to rest?”

Wen Qing’s eyes dodged, and he falteringly said. “I, I……”

Zhou Zhou lowered his head, and stared straight into his eyes. “Hm? What’s wrong?”

Wen Qing’s lips trembled in fright, and moisture formed in his eyes.

His hair was still wet, hanging down near his ears. His palm-sized face seemed smaller. His eyelashes fluttered, and the moisture in his eyes gradually fully filled his eyes.

Obviously, he was afraid.

Zhou Zhou pursed his lips. His voice was low, and a little displeased. “Are you afraid?”

Wen Qing’s mind went blank, and he nodded unconsciously.

Zhou Zhou lifted his hand and held down his shoulders. He leaned over and closer to his ear, softened his voice, and lightly asked: “Tell me, what are you afraid of?”
