Chapter 307 307. MODERATELY

Noah sat quietly on a purple-sheet bed, his gaze looked fixed on the purple foot-mat before him, but the reality remained that he had fallen into deep thought.

His surrounding which was the room given to him by Elder Sarah was painted a vibrant shade of cream, almost yellow. The layout of the room remained super simple, a bed at the end of the room, a table and chair right in front of the bed, and a bathroom on the left side of the room, close to the bed. And finally a small space to position whatever he wanted within the room.

The white-lighted room featured an equally cream-colored rug covering the entire room's floor.

Despite all this, Noah clearly did not give them any thought. His icy-blue eyes were blank but also shone with thoughts.

Blinking a few times, eventually. Noah placed his focus on his environment again and scanned everything within his visual range.

"How do I get Cudgel down here without alerting the city," Noah muttered raking his hand into his hair and holding his head in his palms.

That simple question had brought about a series of troubled thoughts and was the reason for his blank stares. The matter surprisingly disturbed him greatly since his divine weapon was something that could turn the tides of a battle. After all, it was also his level.

He honestly depended on many of its abilities since they continued to remain useful. 'I guess I'll have to wait until I leave the city,' Noah grimaced feeling the need for his weapon more than ever.

However, a sigh eventually escaped his mouth, he didn't feel ready to risk alerting potential tier 5 cultivators. Their knowledge would be vast and deep. The probability that simply sighting such an item as Cudgel would rouse ideas that would be close to the answer was too high.

They could even have their consciousness around the city and he simply couldn't sense it due to his low cultivation base.

The conclusion brought about a wave of peace, even if most of his mind had still not settled.

Noah pulled off his clothes and walked into the bathroom to give himself a shower. He had to admit how great that place felt. It had everything a bathroom could ever need.

Exiting the bathroom with all his worries washed away, Noah redressed and fell on the soft and comfortable bed to do whatever he wanted.

His mind wandered into memories while in that weak state. Noah found himself smiling at events that he now considered funny while others made his hatred for the royal family bloom with intense ferocity.

Noah recalled his reason for even striving to join a guild, which was to of course accumulate power, enough to trample the royal family whenever he felt it ready.

He needed to achieve tier 4 first, which wasn't far anymore, but still was close. He still had about seven months till the bracelet crumbled, he believed he could achieve tier 4 way before then.

Sleep eventually came and didn't hesitate to wrap Noah's consciousness in its powerful grip. Hours passed until a loud bang reached his ears awakening him to the sound of an impatient master threatening to break down his door.

"Before we begin anything, I want you to tell me what you are good at in terms of physical battle prowess," Elder Sarah declared after they had arrived within the sparring room. It seemed many of their sessions would be within that place.

A thoughtful look appeared on Noah's face at that point, even if he only did that for show. Notwithstanding, he soon replied.

"Well, I really am just quick on my foot. I've never met any opponent that could directly challenge me in terms of speed so many of my battles have been one-sided." He explained with a smile mixed with a myriad of emotions.

"You never developed any proper battle skills or have anyone taught you before now?" Sarah questioned surprised that such a person would even exist in their nation.

"No, not really. I've been alone most of the time, only focusing on my cultivation level," he stated shaking his head. Of course, he had the martial arts book gotten from the system, but he he preferred to learn from a living breathing being.

"So what do you do in battles. Let me guess simply cast spells and run around unable to be properly captured, even if you hesitate many times," Elder Sarah asked, her voice half mocking him and half serious.

"Well yeah. My spells are overwhelming. I have an abundance of mana and I'm stronger and faster than individuals at my level. Every battle with humans till I met you has been won fairly easily," Noah added not minding her tone or tones.

"So in summary, you've been so strong all your life you've never needed to develop proper skills since many individuals your level were never able to compare," Elder Sarah declared after a few seconds of silence.

"Well it's good you've come to this guild. I have to admit that your prowess truly is incredible, but like I've said many times there are individuals your level who have a crazy amount of strength. They may not be capable of immediately decimating you, but I believe in a real fight you'll find them quite threatening." A soft smile shone on her face and she didn't hesitate to cast off the black garment she wore revealing the tight purple crop-top and black skin-tight shorts beneath. She soon began to pack her hair in a ponytail.

Noah held his breath at that sight and swallowed the lump that had grown in his throat. The garments she had been wearing all the while he had known her hid all the alluring curves the lady had.

Her almost pale yet healthy looking skin glistened in the light of the room, and Noah felt an uncontrollable urge to steal glances at her her exposed thighs and clearly defined boobs.

In less than a minute she had become distracting, coupled with the packed hair, he had to admit that she was stunning.

"I can feel your gaze boring into my flesh. If you don't want to have your eyes gouged out you better learn how to look moderately," Sarah's voice shattered Noah's daze reminding him of the monster that lived within that desirable body. A curse also exited his lips when he found that a certain body part had begun to rise; rapidly, about to reveal all its glory through his clothes.
