Chapter 393 393. EXPLOSION

Loud bangs resounded in the wide field, and these loud bangs were a result of the yellow flashes colliding with a huge figure emitting two different radiance, one being yellow and the other being icy blue.

Noah had filled the hollow up with two of his rare affinities, and now he could properly attack the beast.

The process of filling it up had been tedious, however. He had emptied his core before relying fully on his potions. The result had been worth it, fortunately.

Noah's fists crackled with yellow strands of erratic electrical energy and he dashed about the monster's base delivering resounding punches, ones that filled the field with their sound.

The hollow responded by allowing masses of its gained energy to shoot toward Noah, mostly in bolt-like forms.

He always dodged them, however, but even with his powerful attacks beginning to shave off portions of the thing's body, Noah remained unsatisfied with the results.

It would take him hours if not whole days to eventually kill the beast, and he still had four floors to go.

Noah clicked his tongue as he watched seventeen bolts of lightning exit the beast's belly to curve toward his rapidly moving figure.

He cursed at the scene of bullets of cold air capable of freezing most things shoot towards him while the bolts were still on his tail.

A series of tier 3 magical circles expanded around his figure and his golems revealed their icy figures. He couldn't allow them to attack the hollow, but he could use them as cannon fodder.

Placing four golems on all his sides Noah crouched then leaped upwards, right before the two attacks collided.

The result was a mighty explosion. One that threatened to reach him at the height he had achieved, but that never happened.

The wind wheezed past his figure as thoughts on his situation began to fill his mind.

He had been limited to his physical attacks charged a bit with his elements, but they weren't enough.

He needed something that could significantly shave off the beast's health, but he couldn't utilize affinity-based spells.

Or at least he thought so.

An idea appeared in his mind, and it had been birthed from his curiosity about how much the hollow could take. Surely it had a structural limit. What would happen if he made it touch that structural limit?

'This will take a while,' Noah sighed seeing the hollow discharge attacks from the spots in its body based on the ice affinity.

Having created a platform of wind in the air, Noah could decide to move anytime he wanted.

The idea of filling his opponent with energy until it couldn't take it remained brilliant, but he would need to empty his core to make it happen.

Filling it up slowly was an idea, but seeing as it poured out energy almost every ten seconds, Noah figured the rate at which he filled it up would match its discharge. Thereby negating his efforts.

An annoyed sigh left Noah's lips then he turned into a blur. A series of cold bullets collided in his former position, spreading ice everywhere.

Thankfully whenever hollows were filled with energy, they stopped delivering physical attacks. After killing tens of them he remained sure about that detail.

"Maybe one massive attack will do," Noah muttered reaching the ground and continuing his sprint. While taking note of the projectiles that tried to reach him but crashed into the ground, damaging it even more.

Noah reached the edge of the field in no time and his figure began to palpitate with energy.

Opening his palm after drinking two potions, Noah watched sparks begin to gather above it.

He directly moved 100k worth of SE into that growing mass, but it would take a while to get everything in. The process would take a significant portion of his focus, and he had to watch out for the hollow's speeding attacks.

Noah opened his left palm and watched a whitish-blue mist beginning to gather above it.

The wind picked up around his figure as his gathering caused the ground to tremble and shatter. Noah called upon his golems again and ten of them emerged from the magical circles that expanded before him.

They were charged with protecting him, but even they were affected by the power their creator gathered.

Noah closed his eyes at that point. His golems were durable enough to withstand a few of the attacks thrown at them since the attacks were on his level.

Stabilizing and compressing the small spheres of ice and electricity gathering above his palms was tasking. Their weight increased every second, and his soul realm took the full brunt of that process.

A crazy pressure began to affect his soul island when he started to add another 50k to each of them and used the rest to create golems.

Noah began to breathe faster and a frown expressing his discomfort could be seen on his face.

Soon the two of them were done, and each contained 100k worth of SE. Noah marveled at how his energy core could withstand that weight, his island could barely stand before the pressure, any more and a crack spanning its entire length would appear.

Opening his eyes with difficulty, his gaze fell on his golems taking a hit, but he soon glanced at the huge hollow in the distance, it was releasing its energy so fast that some portions had started to return to their silver state.

"Go," he whispered feeling sweat drip down his forehead, heck his entire body had started to perspire as a result of that event. However, when the balls of elements that had increased to the size of a man's head left, a massive wave of relief filled his body, but his eyes quickly focused on the hollow in the distance.

The balls although incredibly heavy, turned into two beams of light due to how quickly they moved. In an instant, they reached the hollow, and a blinding, light unfolded at the event bathing the entire field with its overwhelming radiance.

Noah could barely see anything, and he didn't try to, since in the next instant a powerful roar shook the ground beneath him and the light seemed to be pulled into something.

Noah laid eyes on the hollow at that point, but it had changed.

Its huge figure shone with a mixture of yellow and whitish-blue but rather than stability, Noah could see a spinning mass at its very center.

It resembled a galaxy within it, but the beast suffered since groans capable of making the ground shatter exited the crack that appeared on its deformed face.

Bolts of electricity ran over its surface making it untouchable. Noah felt sure that attacking it in that state would only end up in his death, but he knew he didn't do anything more, after all the spinning mass in its belly began to spin faster and faster, and soon a deep humming sound spread out in all directions.

"I should probably take cover," Noah muttered drinking a potion and feeling energy return to his bones.

His energy armor appeared on his figure after a magical circle expanded beneath his feet and he created a series of ball-like defenses around him.

His instincts warned him of the danger he would be in if he managed to get touched by the incoming event.

The hollow began to panic and in a bid to save its life it tried to discharge as much it could, but the damage had already been done.

A blinding white crack expanded from its belly up to its head, then the energy stored within it rushed out.

But rather than a steady flow of energy; a violent explosion that made the ground disappear unfolded.
