Chapter 29 Mother Has A Surprise For Us

The red sun was setting, and people in the village were going back to their homes. They worked all day on a farm, so they could fill their stomachs.

While they had to go to work, Ye Kai didn't, so he was in the backyard, sitting on a chair, and in front of him was a table, where there was a cup of tea.

He rested his elbow on the chair's handrest, and the other hand held a book.

This book was Silent Water Sword Technique, which he was reading, and he saw this Silent Water Sword Technique book had two techniques.

He heard his house's wooden gate open, and as he got up and made his way to the front of the house and reached the gate, he saw his mother.

"Welcome," Ye Kai smiled and said.

Ye Nuan returned, she smile and entered the house, said, "How was the day, and how much trouble has Ming'er caused?"

"Nah, today she didn't make any trouble," Ye Kai said.

Well, she take the burning stick out of the stove and might have burned down the house if he didn't snatch the burning stick away, but he didn't need to tell to his mother.

"Oh?" Ye Nuan was taken aback. She looked at Ye Kai and he nodded.

She was surprised to hear that Ye Ming didn't cause any trouble.

Whenever she left the house alone, Ye Ming always gave her some trouble, like messing with her clothes or lipstick or trying to make food, and the kitchen ended up a mess.

"Yes, because I taught her the sword technique, she has been parctise with a wooden stick. Oh, mother, we should give her a wooden sword," Ye Kai said.

"Sword Technique?" Ye Nuan frowned, "Did you had a sword technique before or powerful man come back to visit you?" She stopped walking and asked.

"No, I didn't have it before, nor did a powerful man come, this technique suddenly appeared in my hand," Ye Kai lied without any hesitation.

"Suddenly? How?" Ye Nuan asked. She took his hand and looked at it.

"I think my hand is somehow connected to a powerful man, and he can send me things without coming here," Ye Kai again lied without any hesitation.

After looking at his hand for a while, she let it go and said, "Well, okay, but if your hand hurts or feels uncomfortable, the first thing you should do is tell me, Okay?"

"All right," Ye Kai shrugged.

"You will tell me, okay?" Ye Nuan said solemnly, her gaze fixed on him.

Ye Kai, realizing she was far too serious, nodded solemnly, "Yes, I will tell you if I feel any uncomfortable feeling in my hand."

"Hm," Ye Nuan nodded and sighed before asking, "Where is Ming'er?"

"In the backyard,"

"Ming'er, came here fast, I have surprises for you," Ye Nuan said loudly.

"Hm, Surprised for her?"

"Ahh, No, not only for her, but for all three of us," Ye Nuan smiled and said.

Soon, Ye Ming comes inside drenched in sweat, she was out of breath, and as she came, she walked into the kitchen and starts drinking water. Complete one jug, then another.

Ye Nuan looked at Ye Kai, and as Ye Kai looked at her, she sighed, "She always makes me worry."

"I told her many times to stop and rest, but she won't listen to me," Ye Kai said, spreading his hand.

"You're the cause of this, giving her the Sword Technique," Ye Nuan shakes her head and says, "Also give me that technique I want to check,"

"Well, I wanted her to grow stronger, so I gave her sword technique, but who knows she was too eager to grow strong she forget to take a rest," Ye Kai said, as he take out the Silent Water Sword Technique from hand.

He saw his mother's eyes open in surprise, "This is always feel unreal," She shakes head and takes a book in hand.

"I also wanted her to grow stronger too, but she needs to rest, or else she will only hurt herself training like this, so it's your responsibility to take care of her, since its you who give her sword technique," Ye Nuan said while reading the Sword Technique.

As they walked to the kitchen and sat on the chair.

Ye Ming drank the last water jug and then looked at her brother and mother before she ran out of the kitchen, saying,

"I'll be there in a second."

"Now, where is she going," Ye Nuan put the book down and stood up to check on her.

"Wait a minute, mother, she drank a lot of water, she needs to release some of it," Ye Kai said, as he laughed a little.

Ye Nuan sits down and takes a long sigh.

"By the way, mother, how was the second mother?" Ye Kai asked.

"Hm, well, she's the same, sleeping," Ye Nuan said, looking down.

Ye Kai scratched his cheek and thought about the second mother, he needed to check her up.

"Mother, when you go there tomorrow, then can I come with you?" Ye Kai asked.

"Well, I guess we'll have to take Ming'er as well; okay, I'll take you two with me tomorrow," Ye Nuan said, nodding. She didn't want her children to go there, so she said no before to Ye Ming, but she didn't want to say no to Ye Kai, so she agreed.
