91 Just a Rank-6?

"Hurry up, you fool! why is it taking so long just to deal with those old farts!?"

Following these words, a woman entered the lounge while wearing the tight revealing clothes that would have left most men on the street ogling at her.

However, the three people did not care about her appearance. All of their attention was focused on the way she addressed the man.

As the woman casually walked in, her eyes narrowed when she recognized the body on the ground. The blood puddle near the man was proof that he was dead.

She swept her eyes at the three people on sight. She quickly dismissed Ozul's figure as he only appeared to be an ordinary teenager.

"You old farts! You do realize the consequences of your actions, right~?"- The woman figured that it must be the old couple who had killed the man.

She walked near the couple with a sadistic smile on her face. The woman did not care about the man, but she still had to act her part.

"It was not them. I killed that guy."- Just as the woman had been approaching the couple, Ozul raised his head and stopped her.

The woman with revealing clothes turned around to look at Ozul. Before he had his head down and she couldn't take a good look at his face, but now when she saw those serene eyes, the woman was instantly entranced by his looks.

"Oh~ Want my attention, do you? Well, you've succeeded. I always like breaking your type, handsome~."- The woman replied teasingly. However, her words were anything but romantic.

"You disgust me."

Ozul had no other words for the woman who already had her face twisted in rage.

The woman was only a Rank-4 Mage. But compared to the man earlier, she was leagues ahead in terms of raw power.

'Sigh... this kid does not know restraints, does he?'- Irvin thought as he also kept thinking about a plan to get out of this situation.

"Pretty Boy! don't try-"

The woman, angered by Ozul's words, was about to lash out on him when suddenly she stopped on her feet.

"What? Cat got your tongue?"- Ozul calmly asked as the woman gulped, feeling the cold feeling against the back of her neck.

Even until now, the old couple had not realized how Ozul was controlling things. They had seen many things, experienced many difficulties, but this was something out of their expectations.

'He has not even let go of his relaxed posture, and even this woman is standing still before him! What is he...'- Both Haley and Irvin had the same questions in their minds.

Even earlier, when Ozul had just killed the man named Drom with a needle, the couple could not see the attack coming. Though both of them were old and powerless now, things were different before.

Anyways, back to the woman. Her hands were trembling as the needle had just touched her skin enough to draw a small trail of blood that dripped down her back, giving her the goosebumps.

The woman wanted to do something, but the slight pricking feeling on the back of her neck acted as a reminder that she was powerless. Even a little bit of movement, and she would be dead.

"Y-you... don't know who you are m-messing with... kid."- The woman stuttered while trying to act calm.

"Oh, I know. Just a measly Rank-4."- Ozul replied with a calm voice since Rank-4 was not even worth his attention.

"You-"

"Yeah, me. Get to the point already."- He did not let the woman talk since he knew that she would only be spouting nonsense in anger.

"I-if you do something to me, the boss would find out. He is a Rank-6 Mage!"-

As the woman spoke, she started regaining her confidence as the might of a Rank-6 was not something that any person would ignore in her mind.

"Just a Rank-6?"- Ozul had thought that there would be someone quite powerful behind this ruckus, but the truth disappointed him.

"Kid, you do not need to get involved in all of this mess."- Irvin tried to stop him from getting into the danger.

He thought that Ozul was strong, but also somewhat ignorant as there was no way that a teenager could go against a Rank-6 Mage.

Thought the old couple knew that now a Rank-6 Mage would be after them, unlike anyone else, they were not panicking or anything.

It was only this attitude of theirs that had piqued Ozul's interest. Many of the elderly had experienced hardships, but even the aged Mages were not so quick-witted as the old couple.

Hence, Ozul had guessed that they would surely have some backstory.

"Well, I don't need to. But I will."- Ozul raised an eyebrow at Irvin's attempt to stop him from interfering in their problem.

His reply caused Irvin's eyes to twitch as it was true that he could not stop him.

"So, just take me to this... boss of yours."- Ozul told the woman who had her eye lit up after hearing him.

She thought that maybe this was her only chance to get out of the situation.

Ozul stood up from the chair and started walking out of the hotel following right behind the woman who still walked stiffly due to her earlier fright.

However, just before exiting the door, Ozul seemingly said to no one.

"Go back to sleep. Otherwise, wait for the punishment."

Just after he had muttered those words, two shadows standing near the stairs tiptoed back to their room.

Those shadows were precisely Raven and Blaze. They could not hold back their curiosity, so they had silently left their room under the cover of Raven's Spell.

The Magical Spell hid them in shadows, and even some experienced Mages wouldn't be able to notice them. But how could just a veil of darkness protect them from Ozul's senses?

Not to mention that Ozul had sensed them even earlier due to the darkness.

Irvin was hesitating if he should follow him or not. Only when Haley nodded her head at him did his expression turned determined. Both of them also walked out of the hotel. It was their mess, to begin with.

In their view, Ozul was helping them, so if they backed down now, it would be a d*ck move on their part.

They were inseparable even in the face of danger as Irvin did not stop Haley from following him.

Ozul still did not have a complete understanding of the group that he was dealing with. Heck, he did not even know their purpose!

So on the way, he started asking questions about the organization while the old couple was walking side by side with him.

"What do you guys do?"

"Huh?"- The woman was confused that he did not even know what they did. She had thought that he was someone with the old couple, but it seemed as though she was wrong.

"Just answer me already."- He said before the woman felt the needle pricking just another millimeter in her skin.

"Yes!... Our group just gathers information around the city."

"Oh? What about them, are they also in your organization?"- Ozul asked while pointing towards the old couple who had wry expressions on their faces since he did not even directly ask them.

"Yes, they joined just some months ago. They ran the hotel and just kept tabs on the people since they did not have any extraordinary strength."-

The woman did not hold back any information in an attempt to gain time. In her mind, the kid would die in the hands of her boss anyway, so it didn't matter how much she told him.

"They had come seeking a place to hide, and in return, they just kept an eye on the civilians to find anything unusual. However, we just recently found that he had been hiding artifacts!"

"That's why the boss had sent Drom and me to take them from these old farts."

"What do you do with the information?"-

"That... I don't know. Boss Bafon deals with everything personally."- The woman nervously replied since her answer did not seem so convincing.

Ozul knew that she was not lying since he could read her emotions like a book.

He was also curious as to how Irvin got hold of the Magical Items while only being an 'ordinary human'.

Though he already knew that the old couple was not so ordinary as they seemed to be, Ozul did not understand anything more than that.

He gave a side glance towards the couple who avoided his gaze and whistled innocently.

The rest of the way, no one said anything since Ozul did not need any more information.

There were still people on the streets, but the direction they walked in had fewer people. Sometime later, they were in the darkest alleys of the city where you could even hear the sound of bugs in the surroundings.

"Hey! Samora is back!"- As they were walking, Ozul heard the shout of a man...
