Chapter 136 - BLOODY NIGHT (2)

One should know that it was damn dangerous to stand too close to a beast that was not in their right mind.

And in this case, who would be in their right mind when you saw the person that cherished you the most died because of you and their head rolled on the ground, right next to your feet.

In this moment, no one would consider who was near you or who are you, or even considered whether you were a friend or a foe.

Because that was not how it worked, definitely it didn't work that way with Blue.

The turmoil that she felt underneath her skin resurfaced full force into malignity, since she was disconnected from reality completely and the only thing in her head was how to vent out this anger, sadness and hundred of emotions that she could find a name for them.

This feeling overwhelmed Blue, she felt like she was drowning in maliciousness and the next thing that she knew was someone came to her and tried to touch her.

The fact that Liam touched her, made her mad, she turned insane, as she saw everything that was trying to come close to her as a threat.

It was her instinct to protect herself by attacking whoever it was, as her animal's intuition took over her consciousness and she clawed Liam right on his face. It was so deep, until blood spluttered in the air and the beasts that surrounded her growled furiously, ready to attack the white wolf.

They only needed one word from the alpha before they jumped onto the white wolf and tackled her down to the ground, teaching her few lessons.

Liam was still the alpha's son, though he was not the favor one.

On the other hand, Emmet gasped to see how brutal Blue could be when they pushed her too hard and force her to be more animal than human.

Yet, the thing that concerned him the most was the fact that he didn't want to have a mate like that. If she could attack Liam viciously like that, which had done her nothing, but being kind, then what she would do to him?

Being vulnerable and slept next to her, absolutely, was not an option at all…

She was insane, she was cut off from the reality.

"Capture her." Alpha Xerxes narrowed his eyes when he realized that the situation got out of his hand. "I want her alive."

=====================

Lise woke up in a complete noises that rang in her head, as she heard a few people was talking at the same time and lights blinded her visions

Her head ached so bad, so did the rest of her body, but her mind reeled to the last thing that she could remember.

River was upset because she couldn't see Anne and demanded for them to see her, because she didn't want her out of her life.

But, Lise refused it firmly and the next thing that happened, the little girl blew out her anger and frustration and the car exploded.

Lise saw the bright light before her eyes and the heat from the fire that licked her body before she passed out, but she didn't know how she could survive that predicament.

There were two men came to her and tried to get her out of the car by tearing apart the car door, but the only thing that was in Lise's mind was; River.

Where is she?

Lise tried to look at the back seat, to make sure that she was there and she was all right, but the air bag and the seatbelt that held her in place, made it difficult for her to move her body, not to mention that her neck felt so bad.

There was no way that she could come out of this accident without a few broken bones.

"My… daughter… my daughter…" Lise tried to tell the men that was helping her about her little girl, but they were too busy to give an instruction to one another.

Lise could feel her panic that caused her to breathe heavily. She needed to calm down, or else she would suffocate herself…

But then, how could see calm down when she didn't know where her daughter was and her condition.

They couldn't take her to the hospital, they would know that she was not human and that was the last thing that Lise wanted…

=====================

The fur of the white beast had coated with blood, she growled in low, threatening voice and kept trying to stand on her legs, despite the injuries that she received.

Wounds littered on the beast's body, but she refused to give in, as the ground beneath her had smeared with blood.

Her hazel eyes ablaze with malice, as they fixed on Alpha Xerxes. He was untouchable. A few attempts that Blue did to get closer to him was easily defected by the beasts that guarded their alpha like crazy.

"Oh, my poor little child," he said in sing song voice, he clicked his tongue and shook his head in such manner that made the white beast roared in anger. "Put this on her." Alpha Xerxes gave Emmet something and let his son to put it on the angry white beast.

"What…?" Emmet was stunned. He didn't want to be near that crazy beast at all, let alone to put something on her, but the way his father glared at him, made the young man relented and walked hesitatedly toward the angry beast.

He glanced at his brother, who was laying on the ground, curled his body, while covering his face with both of his hands.

His father riled up because Blue attacked him, but he was not thoughtful enough to ask someone to take him to see a healer.

He wondered whether Liam would survive that attack or not, since the beast had injured him so bad…

Poor little Liam...
