CH 34

“I don’t care if it’s about Olivia.”

“How could you not? She’s your first love.”

“Are you jealous?”

“I’m not.”

Brandon, who had moved closer to her, smiled deeply.

“And that’s not what I meant to ask.”

“What is it, then?”

“Brandon… Do you intend to harm me or not?”

It wasn’t something that would come out of the lips of a bride who was about to have her first night.

“I think you asked a similar question the other day… Why do you think so? There’s no way you’d think about it for no reason.”

Yeah, it wouldn’t be Brandon. When she thought about the fact that Brandon had already saved her twice, Callie cast aside her doubts.

“I’m sorry if I offended you.”

At her apology, Brandon stared at her.

“To be told on the first night that you won’t hurt me, let alone to hear that I love you… I’m terribly sorry.”*

He dismissed it as a joke the other day, but there must be a reason for Callie’s question. But judging from the look on her face, it didn’t seem like she could easily explain why.

Brandon made serious eye contact with Callie and slowly brushed her flowing hair. He said, “Callie, no matter what happens, I will protect you because you are my wife. So, trust me.”

At the voice that sounded sweeter today, Callie blinked and nodded slowly.

I believe you, Brandon.

“So next time, I will love you with that pretty mouth… Well, let me say something like this, it’s nice to hear.”

After he finished speaking, Brandon pressed his lips against hers, placing his hand on her nape.

As he tickled her lips with his tongue, seemingly asking permission to enter, Callie opened her lips without hesitation. Callie closed her eyes as the kiss grew a little deeper.

Her senses heightened when she couldn’t see anything. All her nerves were focused on her lips.

The hand that wrapped around her waist pulled her closer, and she could feel the heat coming from his body.

Their tongues intertwined more thickly between their lips, and the air surrounding them grew hot.

When her body seemed to float, she opened her eyes to find herself lying on the bed.

Just as their lips were about to touch again, a large hand came up to her breast.

Callie, who suddenly came to her senses, hurriedly took hold of his hand. “Wait. We haven’t even washed yet.”

“I don’t care.”

“I do. I don’t want to go through the first night without washing.”

“Do I need to wash up, too?”

“Of course.”

Callie lowered her head again with a firm face.

People really do worry about different things. Brandon had no choice but to get off Callie.

“Half an hour. I can’t give you more than that.”

“That’s too short.”

“If I change my mind, that time may get cut short. Wouldn’t it be better to go and wash up quickly at that time? I might burst into the bathroom in thirty minutes.”

She knew he wasn’t joking, so Callie quickly got out of bed and headed to the bathroom.

Lisa helped me wash up since Callie got married, but she had no intention of calling her now. Callie was embarrassed to call for help washing up before she went to bed with Brandon, so she went into the bathroom by herself.

After hurriedly bathing, Callie returned to her bedroom exactly thirty minutes later.

Meanwhile, Brandon, who had finished his bath, was waiting for his bride, his hair still wet.

Sitting cross-legged on the bed, Brandon smiled lazily.

“You’re right on time. I was going to pick you up from the bathroom if you were even a minute late.”

“I hurried because I thought you would.”

“You’ve come to understand a lot about me.”

“I figured you would joke a lot, but you’re not one to talk nonsense.”

“Then, since you’ve already figured out that I’ve been waiting for a long time, don’t stand there and come over here.” Brandon held out his hand to Callie.

Callie mischievously raised one corner of her mouth and shook her head.

“I don’t want to.” And as she smiled coyly, she added, “You come here.”

I’d be happy if you did.

While Callie was obviously nervous, Brandon smiled as he watched her provoke him, and he moved closer with big strides.

“As expected, you’re not an easy-going wife.”

Then he stretched his arms under her knees and behind her shoulders and lifted Callie.

Callie averted her gaze, flustered that she was suddenly lifted into his arms.

“When do you want to sleep? Are you embarrassed?”

He didn’t care to hear the answer and pressed his lips against hers before they got to bed.

He acted impatient, saying he didn’t want to wait for her to wash, but his kiss was patient. He slowly licked her upper lip before moving to her lower lip.

Callie lay on her bed, still very sensitive to the unfamiliar sensation. Brandon loomed over her, imprisoning her with his arms next to her face.

“Can I start now?”

“Yes…”

Callie nodded, and he pulled her lower lip down slightly with his thumb.

“Open your lips when we kiss.”

Callie opened her lips at his command.

His tongue, which alternately licked her upper and lower lip, came in between the gap. Then he caught her tongue, which was awkwardly in the middle.

Callie’s tongue moved along, following Brandon’s lead. Since it was her first time, it was unfamiliar, awkward, and embarrassing, but she didn’t hate it.

Brandon smiled approvingly at her response and began to unbutton her nightgown with his hand over her chest.

Realizing his intentions, Callie opened her closed eyes and grabbed his hand.

“Brandon, turn off the lights, please.”

Callie had no intention of avoiding it, but she was too embarrassed to show herself.

But Brandon didn’t listen to her this time.

“I don’t want to, Madam.”

“But I do.”

“What would happen if you ended up saying you don’t want to do it? Are you going to kick me out again?”

I have no intention of doing that.

“Do as I say this time, Brandon,” Callie asked again, and in the end, Brandon gave in and complied with her request.

“Fine. I’ll only turn off the lights this time.”

Brandon got up from the bed, turned off the light, and returned.

As the lights in the room disappeared, the room was enveloped in darkness. However, that was only for a moment, and the light coming through the window gradually helped their eyes adjust.

Even though Brandon couldn’t see as brightly as before, he could see everything, including her face, expression, eyes, and trembling lips.

“Are you nervous?” His large hands covered her face. “I promise you, it will be all right soon.”

Brandon met Callie’s eyes and began to undress her.

As the buttons and ribbon on her nightgown came undone, Callie gulped and closed her eyes, hoping she’d feel less embarrassed.

But when she closed her eyes, the sensations of her whole body became more acute.

She could feel the breath he exhaled, as well as the minute changes in the air caused by the movement of his hands.

Soon, all of her clothes were removed, and the cool air touched her bare skin.

It was a feeling of emptiness and a sense of relief.

Brandon, who always talked about sleeping with her, was in no hurry. He moved smoothly and leisurely, whether trying to enjoy this moment or being considerate of Callie.

“You have a beautiful body, Callie.”

Even with my eyes closed, I could feel him looking down from above at my naked body.

“I can’t believe I’m finally seeing how beautiful your body is.”

Her entire body heated up as if she was being caressed intensely by his words.

It was even more difficult to bear to see him staring at her like this.

Callie opened her eyes and immediately met Brandon’s eyes filled with heat.

“Brandon, are you going to just stare?”

I’d rather you do something sooner rather than later.

“Yeah, no way. I plan to hold you for a long time all night, so let’s relax and enjoy it.”

Callie couldn’t bear his gaze as he looked down at her naked body with lust, so she reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Do you want to do it quickly? Then we need to speed up.”

Her lips parted as his large hand landed on her bare chest.
