As the group of humans began to pass the dirt road, their horse-like Mystics throttled forward leaving deep imprints into the sand, Asmodeus watch them from a safe distance like a predator stalking its prey.
To him, these humans were his skin, suit, and a ticket to enter the academy, where he will find his true prey, every treasure they have would be his, no question ask.
Every one of them was his for the taking after all, they were all his prey, and none would escape alive, he would make sure of it.
He made this evidentially clear by marking this territory as his, by using the method the Pandra used to mark their territory.
This unique method was similar to lesser intelligent animals, for example, the dogs, mark their belongings by peeing on them, while the Pandra marked their territory by clawing nearby trees and rocks.
It was safe to say or not say, the humans before him had no clue of what they were about to soon encounter, the more they moved along the trail, the faster Asmodeus began jumping from tree to tree silently like a monkey ninja.
His form was hidden perfectly in the trees, an like a chameleon, as soon as a new texture of color came into view, his skin morphed to become the same color as the surrounding environment, making him completely invisible to human eyes.
He was baffled as to where exactly these humans were going, although he hasn't explored the entirety of Eden as of yet, this area was his temporary home, and base of operation, so he knew it like the back of his hand.
However, there was but one person that might be a little more durable and stronger than the rest, and that was the squad captain Ryu upon looking at the person's stats in front of him he was amazed at how one human managed to get this strong despite not having any mana and weak singularity.

But the Lumen was very dangerous for a reason, they could release a type of dust from their wings, call Lumen dust, and once it is inhaled by another living organism, the parasitic dust that is a part of the Lumen body, begins to fuse with the host body from within, and after it attaches itself from within, just like the concept of a Bluetooth device, the lumen dust sends signals to reconnect back to the main body.
Making the user has completed control over, Sight, touch, hearing, and taste of another person's body.
With this ability, one could make nigh-realistic illusions, the way how one could use this power was limitless if one had a creative mind.
Although in the hands of an unintelligent creature with the mindset of a child, this ability can only amount to so much, however in the palms of a Demon King Like Asmodeus the result can be catastrophic.
With this plan in motion, Asmodeus began to grow a pair of beautiful butterfly wings that glimmered a bright neon pink, as he was using Nero's wall-crawling skill to stick to the large tree in a freakish manner.
And stealthily, with the aid of Nero's stealth ability, all sound around Asmodeus's very existence disappear as he took flight right above the humans, as trillions of pink-like dust that glimmers like glitters at night, but invisible during the day, began to fall from his beautiful butterfly wings and scatter in the air in various direction, as it rain downs on his prey.
If one was to see it at the correct time, one would say it was a beautiful sight.
As the soldier rides from the North, threading deeper into the southern plane, they began to breathe in Asmodeus parasitic dust, completely unaware of the hell they were about to experience, and witness.
And after everyone absorbed the microscopic Lumen dust within themselves, that was when Asmodeus begin to grow a pair of beautiful long butterfly antennae on his head, and upon doing this something amazing began to happen to Asmodeus, as the connection process was about to begin.
He began to see, feel, and heard everything these thirty-seven individuals were experiencing, all at once.
Most notably; the voices of the humans below project into Asmodeus's mind, saying different things such as.
'I hope we get back soon for the annual fair... I have a date with sir Hakhan.'
'Honestly, what is our lady thinking.'
'You know, I have recently finished paying my loan to the mystic dealer, I can wait to try these new boots, with it I will be able to double jump with ease.'
'Oh is that so, lucky you then?'
'We might have to stock up on potions when we get back our supply is getting low, I should bring this to the squad leader's attention after we set up the nets.'

Now to see if this sneaky and unfair tactic of his work Asmodeus jumped in front of the group revealing his true form in all its majestic glory, his long black horns and tail were visible, while his beautiful red wings were clear to see, and his tall figure could not be missed.
However, despite being in front of the road, for all to see clearly, the group simply passed him just like he didn't exist at all.
Asmodeus even went as far as to shout out.
"I AM THE DEMON KING, AND I AM HERE TO CAUSE DISCORD AMONG YOUR PEERS BECAUSE I THINK IT WILL BE FUN TO WATCH YOU HUMANS STRUGGLE!"
Despite shouting this cringy-ass line at top of his lungs, no one heard, him or see him, this confirms it, the illusionary power of the Lumen was broken as hell, despite the fact, that the only sense he could not manipulate was the sense of smell, but apart from that he could do as he please to rest.
The best part is, he could now murder everyone here casually, and they won't even notice since everyone has been put under a nigh-perfect illusion.
So as a way to not get blood all over the place, he walks up to one of the men, holds him by his shoulder, and slowly pushes him down into the earth, keep in mind, to this person he still walking with his peers, completely unaware that he was buried alive and was slowly suffocating to death, six feet under, of course, this was also possible with Asmodeus Earth Manipulation.
And right after, Asmodeus began to kill everyone in a different form and manner, as he expresses his creativity in the art of violence, and he was enjoying every second of it, for one he took a female member of the team, and an eagle, and he sore high into the sky before dropping her from five thousand meters above the ground.
Upon impact she burst like a balloon as her intestine, organs, and limbs fly all over the rocky surface below, staining the ground with her bodily fluids, and not the erotic kind at that.
While for a group of several men who were talking, received an unfortunate fate as Asmodeus began to mess up their sense of direction and make them stray from the crowd, as they believe they were still on the dirt road, as they walk deeper into the forest, let us just say, their bodies were never found.
While for his next victim, he made the remaining of the group go ahead as the five that remain to stay behind thinking they were preparing dinner for the rest, not knowing that each of them began to hunt each other down by, cutting, stabbing, and peeling each other with a sword, while the sole survivor of the death match began to think he was cleaning meat of weak and eatable E- Rank mystic he and the boys fought together to feed the others that were taking a break, that sole survivor also died when a stray Pandra began to eat him alive.
From there the numbers of the once large group slowly but surely dwindle to nothing.
Death by poison.
Death by suffocation.
Death by misdirection.
Death by fall damage.
Death by being eaten and skin are alive.
Death by being burnt alive.
The list goes on, as Asmodeus was expressing his violent nature, as he plays with these humans, similar to how a cat plays with its food.
However, as he gets closer and closer to Ryu, he suddenly stops when his eyes focus on a missing poster that one of the soldiers drops along the way as it.
Missing: Melanie Van Walachia of the 1st house Walachia.
