Chapter 4

Although I was his wife, Kylian saved Lilith first. This alone was enough to imply a much deeper meaning. When he was faced with the choice between me or Lilith when both of us had been kidnapped, he went to rescue Lilith first. It was proof that he loved Lilith enough that he left me, his wife, in the face of danger to save her first.

Of course, there were other reasons besides that. We didn’t exactly have a normal wedding.

He hated me so much that the day before the wedding, he locked himself in his room so I couldn’t get in, and so I left eventually. Besides, even though there were a lot of things to prepare on the eve of the wedding, he came in late because he was spending time with Lilith.

“I heard that we don’t have to kiss during the wedding.”
