Chapter 21 Dogs Only Know How To Bark.

"What are you looking at?" Zhou Bingbing questioned and looked out of the window, at the car at which Zhou Liying was looking at.

"This car….it seems familiar." Zhou Liying did not tell Zhou BingBing that she felt as if she knew the owner of the car.

Zhou Liying narrowed her eyes and tried to get a clear look at the man but could not due to tinted glasses.

"Miss, I know why you find this car to be familiar. I saw this car at the parking of the airport." Min Yue chimed happily.

Because of her brother, Min Yue had a craze to notice expensive cars. That was why a Porsche parked at the airport did not escape her eyes.

Zhou Liying nodded her head and looked at the car, with suspicion arising in her heart.

Mu Yuehan felt as if someone was looking at him. He turned his face and looked out of the window. He saw Zhou Liying leaning against the glass.

Like a shy boy, who got caught by his crush, he turned his face away. Hue appeared on his face and a smile danced over his lips.

He kept his face on the other side till the time both cars parted their ways. He took a deep breath and again looked out from the window.

"Have you arranged for accommodation for her?" Mu Yuehan asked.

"Yes boss, her assistant was searching for a penthouse. So, using our broker, I have sold your last used penthouse to her."

"Good." Mu Yuehan said with satisfaction.

He was satisfied that Zhou Liying would stay at a place which he vacated hardly six months back.

"Shanghai has changed so much." Zhou Liying commented, looking at the road and some new unrecognisable buildings. "I left for six years and it has changed drastically."

"It has not changed much." Zhou Bingbing chuckled. "After staying in London for so long, you are finding Shanghai different. You just wait, I am sure you will be having trouble becoming habitual to the changes in language and culture of Shanghai. It's completely different from London."

Zhou Bingbing spoke out from her own experience. When she and her boyfriend, Kris Yang moved in here, one and a half years back, both faced a similar type of trouble.

"I think I will need a tour of the city to become accompanied by it. It will take time to settle down." Zhou Liying sighed, looking at the passing buildings.

Their car stopped in front of a restaurant because the three ladies were feeling hungry. Besides, Zhou Bingbing wanted to bring Zhou Liying to this particular restaurant.

"You both go ahead. I will join you after attending a call from Kris."

Zhou Liying and Min Yue made their way toward the restaurant, leaving Zhou BingBing behind. She was busy attending a call with her boyfriend.

The eyebrows of Zhou Liying shot up with surprise when she noticed a long queue outside the said restaurant.

"This restaurant seems very famous. All the people standing outside look so sophisticated." Min Yue commented and then looked at Zhou Liying, "Miss, will we get a seat in this restaurant?"

"Why not? Do you think I can't get a seat in a mare restaurant?" Zhou Liying gloated and made her way toward the doors of the restaurant.

To her surprise, she heard a familiar name, the name which she had not heard in the last six years.

"Qin Tian, is that you?"

Zhou Liying turned and looked at a beautiful lady, standing opposite her. Looking at her dress and appearance, she could say that the lady was a socialist, but Zhou Liying could not remember who she was.

"It's you." The lady chuckled mockingly. "Aren't you shameless? After what happened six years back, I thought you will never show your face again in Shanghai, but here you are, shameless."

"Lu Chunhua, who is she?" a man in his late forties wrapped his arm around the lady named Lu Chunhua.

Hearing the name Lu Chunhua, Zhou Liying also remembered who she was. Lu Chunhua was one of the friends with her cousin Qin Yutong. She was equally bitchy as her cousin.

"Darling, remember, I once told you about a girl who tried to come in-between Fan Yifeng and TongTong? She is the same shameless girl." She spat angrily and eyed her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend, on the other hand, was looking at Zhou Liying without a blink of an eye. He felt mesmerised by her beauty. Standing in a black midi dress with her hair tied in a high ponytail, she looked no less than an unattainable queen.

"Who*re, you only know how to seduce boyfriend of others." Lu Chunhua spat upon seeing how her boyfriend was looking at Zhou Liying with lust-filled eyes. "First you seduced Fan Yifeng and now you are trying to snatch my boyfriend."

"Snatching your boyfriend?" Zhou Liying cocked her brows and chuckled. "Miss Lu, is he your boyfriend or your sugar daddy?"

"You…" Lu Chunhua fumed when she saw Zhou Liying chuckling at her face.

"And what am I seeing Miss Lu, from when did your breasts become so big? If I remember correctly, your chest was very small. I am sure, you have had surgeries done on your breasts to make them look so big."

With satisfaction, Zhou Liying looked at the changing colours on the face of Lu Chunhua, from red to green.

Ignoring her, she made her way toward the entry of the restaurant. She did not have time to waste on fools like her.

"You, where do you think you are going after insulting me?" Lu Chunhua barked and angrily walked toward her, blocking her way. She was about to attack her when Min Yue took a hold of her hand.

"Careful miss, you do not afford to offend her." Min Yue advised; her eyes sharp, ready to counterattack if Lu Chunhua again tried to attack Zhou Liying.

"Do not afford to offend her, ha." Lu Chunhua chuckled. "Why can't I offend her? Do you know who I am? Do you know who my boyfriend is? But she, this Qin Tian is a peasant, growing up on the mercy of her uncle and his family."

Min Yue wanted to say something when Zhou Liying stopped her, "Let her bark. Dogs only know how to bark."
