But before she could do so, Mu Yuehan came in between Andrew and herself. He completely ignored Mister Hawkins and Andrew.

"Sweetie, hurry up. Marta just called and informed me that there are many customers in the restaurant, waiting for you."

He possessively looped his arm around her waist. He then looked at Peter. "Nice to meet you. I am close friend with her."

The way he held her was speaking possessiveness and closeness. Peter looked at them with disappointment. He knew his chance to have Nian Tian as his daughter-in-law was gone.

Mu Yuehan had already taken her for himself. And when comparing the handsomeness of his son and Mu Yuehan, he knew Mu Yuehan was clear cut winner.

"Excuse us, we are getting late."

Abruptly, Mu Yuehan pushed Nian Tian away from the father and son duo. Nian Tian gave a guilty smile to Peter and walked with Mu Yuehan.

Once they were not in the sight of the father and son duo, Nian Tian roughly removed his arm from her waist and glared at him. "What was that?"

"I was trying to save you." Mu Yuehan shrugged his shoulders. "We both know you were hesitating from shaking your hand with him."

"I was not." Nian Tian denied it and started to pick up the items she needed, from the shelves.

"Keep lying, we both know he was looking at you like a leech. He was practically underdressing you. And I do not like it. I don't like it because you are my girl."

Mu Yuehan glared at nothing, remembering how that man was looking at his girl. He made a mental note to transfer the Hawkins family away from this island forever. So, that leech would not get a chance to be close to his girl in his absence.

Nian Tian looked at him with wide eyes when she heard my girl. The honesty, the seriousness with which he had called her his girl, she had felt tingles of warmth surging in her heart.

It felt as if those words were directly coming from his heart.

She took a long deep breath to calm her heart down. Many people said words like this but not many people stood by them.

Nian Tian completed her shopping and made her way toward the cashier. Mu Yuehan groaned when he saw her exchanging greetings with the cashier.

So much vinegar for the first day!

'Should I make this island, a girls-only place?' he thought to himself in his jealousy.

"Nian Tian hurry, Marta is waiting for you." Mu Yuehan spoke from behind her. Nian Tian nodded her head, asking the cashier to quickly make a bill.

Nian Tian took her carry bags and then Mu Yuehan passed his basket to the cashier. Once Nian Tian was out of hearing range, he threatened the cashier, "young boy, she is my girl. So, stop thinking about her."

The cashier looked at him with wide eyes and shook his head. "Mister, I am only sixteen. She is like a big sister to me. Rest assured."

Mu Yuehan nodded his head and made the payment. He made a quick dash toward Nian Tian. He took the carry bags from her hands, naturally.

"Let me carry them. They are heavy."

Nian Tian wanted to rebuke but then she saw with how ease he was carrying the bags where she was having trouble in carrying them.

She again felt amused seeing his strength and physic. It was screaming aloud that he worked regularly in the gym.

They both arrived at the restaurant. She frowned when she saw there was only one customer present. And he was nearly done with his breakfast.

"Didn't you say a customer was waiting for me?" Nian Tian asked.

"Yes, there is and that is me." Mu Yuehan beamed.

"You...…."

After having his coffee, Mu Yuehan left for the hotel. Zhan Wei was shocked to see him driving his car. As far as he remembered, Mu Yuehan claimed that he would not drive to Juju island because he was liking the fresh air here. He preferred to walk or ride on his bicycle.

Zhan Wei wanted to raise his doubts but he did not, seeing the foolish smile on the lips of Mu Yuehan.
