Today was not the first instance when Zhou Liying was attempted to kidnap. In the last four years, many people tried to murder her or kidnap her out of jealousy. Although, they all were failed attempts till now, but they still scared Zhou Liying.

To protect herself from any unseen danger, Zhou Liying learnt the art of fighting and gun shooting. She kept her pistol in her handbag all the time. It was light in weight and small in size, it was very handy.

She also kept a knife in a belt around her leg whenever she dealt with clients, which she predicted to be dangerous. Even though she knew that people were protecting her, she still wanted to ensure that she could protect herself in case of need.

It was four in the afternoon when they arrived at the corporation building. Zhou Liying was again off to do her work. She was busy checking all the work done by Zhou Yonge in her absence.

Zhou Yonge came to meet her when he was informed that she was here in the office.

For now, Zhou Yonge was only tackling high-class deals or deals with clients who were very old and denied to deal with Zhou Liying. He did most of his work from home. He only visited the corporation when in an emergency.

"Mm." Zhou Yonge nodded. "If you feel hurt or pain or need any shoulder to cry, you know whom to call, don't you?"

"You uncle. I know. I will come to you if I want to cry."

Zhou Yonge nodded with satisfaction and left her office.

It was nighttime when Zhou Bingbing arrived to meet Zhou Liying, to give her moral support.

"I am sorry Lili for being late." Zhou Bingbing hugged Zhou Liying tight. There was sadness in her voice. "I wanted to be there beside you, to give you a shoulder to cry upon when your grandpa died."

"I know." Zhou Liying broke the hug and smiled at her. "I am sure you too were hurting knowing that I was hurt."

"Now come, let your great little sister treat you." Zhou Bingbing enthusiastically wrapped her arm around hers.

"You know my grandpa was buried yesterday." She pointed out. "How can you think that I will go to a restaurant with you?"

"I know you will not, that's why I asked Min Yue to bring dinner for us here in your office." Zhou Bingbing beamed and pulled Zhou Liying toward the couch in her office.

Zhou Liying shook her head and settled down beside her. She was not aware of what was running in the mind of Zhou Bingbing.

Zhou Bingbing especially came to the office to see if Mu Yuehan was here or not. She wanted to know if this man was dedicated enough to be with Zhou Liying or not.

So, when Zhou Bingbing saw him settle in his regular place, she felt delighted and happy. She clapped for him in her heart. She cheered and hooted excitedly for him.

His presence cleared two things to her, one being, that Mu Yuehan liked Zhou Liying. He wanted to be with her. The second being, Zhou Liying also wanted his presence. Otherwise, she'd have kicked him out after sleeping with him.

"So, when will you start with wedding preparation?" Zhou Liying asked.

One of her reason to return to Shanghai was to help Zhou Bingbing with her wedding preparations, wasn't it?

Now that her grandpa was no more, she could shift her focus in helping her cousin with her wedding.

"Don't know." Zhou Bingbing groaned. "Kris is stuck with his movie. To add in, his parents are gone on a world trip. Don't know when they will return. I can only wait for their return before starting all the preparations."

Zhou Liying sadly looked at her cousin. From a long time, Zhou Bingbing was dying to marry Kris. If possible, she'd kidnap him and take him to the city bureau to get married. She stopped herself only because of the feelings of both families.

"But the good thing is, I have already designed my wedding dress." Zhou Bingbing flashed a smile and Zhou Liying rolled her eyes.

"You have already designed at least ten dresses for your wedding, in the last four years. I am sure, you will design some more by the time of your wedding." She mocked and Zhou Bingbing pouted.

"I have also selected caterers."

"I am sure, he is Tang Ying, isn't he?"

"Hey, stop rubbing salt on my wounds. You know Kris and how he is when working on a movie." Zhou Bingbing looked at her in a grumpy mood.

"Okay, okay, I will not tease you. Now tell me about your latest fashion show."

Mu Yuehan returned to the apartment where he was staying as the guard of Zhou Liying. He removed his tie and threw it away. He pulled out his phone and called Li Tao.

"Report today's incident." His voice was gruff and full of power and wrath. "Why were there real goons instead of my guards?"

From the evening, Mu Yuehan was eager to call Li Tao and ask him about the mistake on his part.

"I am sorry boss but I decided without asking you." There was shame in the voice of Li Tao.

"When I arrived at the restaurant, goons were already waiting for Miss Zhou. I saw the sign of eagle on them. I knew it was not easy to defeat all of them without coming into the eyes of Miss Zhou. So, I decided to take one of them in my custody for investigation, instead of fighting them all."

"So, their member is already in your custody?" ruthlessness flashed in his eyes. He forgot all about punishing Li Tao for his delay and carelessness.

He should have eliminated all of them before their exit from the restaurant.
