"You may love her but what about her? Moreover, her life will be in high risk after marrying you."

Mu Yuehan clenched his jaws and glared at Zhou Yonge. 'Can't he understand that I love Lili more than him and I am fully capable of protecting her?' he gritted his teeth.

"I know you are angry with my decision but…." Before Zhou Yonge could complete, he received a call from Zhou Liying.

"Hey princess, what happened? How come you remembered me early in the morning?" Zhou Yonge asked. He walked away from Mu Yuehan.

Meanwhile, the butler served Mu Yuehan with tea and light breakfast.

"I need you to give my uncle Jiang to me. I need him as my driver." Zhou Liying demanded.

"What happened with your last driver, HanHan, if I am correct?" He inquired, wanting to know what Zhou Liying felt about Mu Yuehan.

"I fired him."

There was slight pain and longing in the voice of Zhou Liying which was not hidden from Zhou Yonge. He remembered the words of Zhou Bingbing as to how Zhou Liying was smitten to her driver.

"And can I know why?"

"Uncle, aren't you extra being curious today? From when did you ask why I fired my driver cum bodyguard?" there was frustration in her voice.

"I am just curious."

"I slept with him. Happy now. Send uncle Jiang to my office. I am stealing him from you." She mumbled under her breath and ended the call.

Zhou Yonge looked at the blank screen on his phone and then back at Mu Yuehan. He wanted to send Mu Yuehan away empty-handed but now he was changing his mind, after a call with Zhou Liying.

He knew he could protect her from the enemies of Mu Yuehan by rejecting his proposal but what about the heart of Zhou Liying.

From his small talk with her, he could say, she was falling for him and her feelings were the reason she felt frustrated.

He took a deep breath and returned to Mu Yuehan. Mu Yuehan looked at the concerned expression on the face of Zhou Yonge with a raised brow.

"How will you protect Liying?" Zhou Yonge asked.

He realised; he could not stop Mu Yuehan from marrying Zhou Liying. By doing so, he was going to hurt two hearts.

He could not ignore the claim of Mu Yuehan that he loved her from the last four years. He could not forget how Zhou Liying too was suffering because she thought she had left someone she loved with her memories in the past.

"I have already deployed a team of hundred guards at her security. They will do anything to protect her." Mu Yuehan replied. "If in case, I and Lili both are in danger and only one of us can be saved, then my team will be protecting her."

"Also, even if she is in danger, my team will do it's best to find her and bring her back safe. I will also do my best to find and kill her unseen enemies. Also, I don't want a repeat of what happened four years back, so I will always keep my eyes on her, to protect her."

Zhou Yonge nodded his head. "I don't want to but I will give you my blessings. I hope you will love her and keep her happy, also safe."

"You have my words uncle." Mu Yuehan stood up from his seat. "I will treat Lili no less than a queen. I will give her whatever she desires, possible or not."

Zhou Yonge smiled with satisfaction. After working with Mu Jichen in past, Zhou Yonge knew that members from Mu family never went back on their words.

"I hope you will not go back on your words, otherwise, I will be after your tail. I love Liying too much. I will not let you give any pain to her." There was seriousness in his voice.

"Don't worry uncle." Mu Yuehan smiled. "I will take your leave now."

Before Mu Yuehan could leave, Zhou Yonge stopped him. He looked at him with conflict before exhaling a long breath. "I want to give you something. Wait for me."

Zhou Yonge walked toward his locker. He pressed his thumb and then typed the pin, opening the locker. He found the required documents from his locker and pulled them out.

"This is the report of Liying from four years back. Real report." Zhou Yonge focused on the word real and passed the report to Mu Yuehan.

Mu Yuehan frowned and accepted the report, not knowing the reason as to why Zhou Yonge was giving him these reports.

Guilt appeared in Zhou Yonge's eyes and he gulped. "When we found Liying, she had a miscarriage. She was thirteen weeks pregnant."

Mu Yuehan stumbled back when he heard the words of Zhou Yonge. It was as if a bomb was dropped on his head. His heart started to beat fast and tears appeared in his eyes. His breathing became raged. He opened the medical history and dumbly looked into it.

"Your baby was already dead by the time she was brought to the hospital." Zhou Yonge placed his hand over his shoulder, to give him his support and Mu Yuehan accepted it.

"My baby. She was with my baby." His voice was heavy and full of pain. Few tear drops fell from his eyes. "I can't save it. I...."

He started to sob like a baby, crying for his ill fate. That day, he not only lost his TianTian but also his baby. He took long deep breaths, trying to control his emotions.

"Does she know?" he asked, his eyes were filled with hate and anger toward the kidnappers.

"No, she doesn't. I am telling you only because one of the parents needs to know." Zhou Yonge replied, feeling as if a heavy burden was lifted off his shoulder.

Mu Yuehan nodded his head. He roughly removed his tears and stood tall. "Thank you for your time uncle."

He was about to leave when Zhou Yonge called after him. "You should meet my daughter Zhou BingBing, she may help you in winning the heart of Liying."

Mu Yuehan gave the elder man a stiff nod and left his office and his house.
