Chapter 168 Delivery.

Zhou Liying was working in her office, but unconsciously, from time to time, she was turning her head toward the seat which was earlier occupied by Mu Yuehan.

She did not know when, but she became habitual of sneaking glances at him when doing her work. She became habitual of his dreamy eyes when he sat on his seat or the way he smiled whenever he caught her looking at him.

She sighed and shook her head before again focusing on her work. They had received a lot of business proposals in the last few weeks. Not only that, but she also needed to take decisions regarding the manufacturing plants under Zhou corporations.

"Miss there is a delivery for you." Min Yue entered the office and presented Zhou Liying with a delivery box from one of the Chinese restaurants. "Someone ordered lunch for you."

With narrowed eyes, Zhou Liying looked at the packed box. She accepted it. "I knew it' expression appeared on her face when she saw a note signed Han attached to it.

"You can leave." She sent off Min Yue. Min Yue sighed with relief and returned to her station.

Zhou Liying looked at the packed meal with a mixed expression on her face. She was feeling warm that even thought Mu Yuehan was fired, he still cared about her lunch but on the other hand, she felt irritated because he was not leaving her alone.

She did not want him and he like a stubborn person was trying to make a place in her heart, even after her resistance. She did not want these feelings. She did not want to get hurt. She wanted to remain alone, independent.

It was late in the night and Zhou Liying was still working in her office when she again received a tiffin box. This time, it was home-cooked food. Min Yue placed the packet on her table and left her office.

Zhou Liying sighed and pulled the packed food toward herself. Her nose was immediately filled by the delicious aroma. Her stomach grumbled loudly. She picked up the attached note and read it.

'Home-cooked food for your good health. After all, a husband must look after his wife.

P.S. don't work late at night. Have this food. I know you love the food cooked by me..'

Zhou Liying groaned and opened the tiffin box, only to find garlic filled spicy noodles, one of her favourite dishes. Her mouth watered when she inhaled the aroma and looked at the food.

Without hesitating, she took out the chopsticks and started to savour her food. Unconsciously, she emptied the tiffin box, which was a little more than her diet.

"Min Yue, clear my table." Zhou Liying called Min Yue. She stood up from her chair and walked toward the window.

Min Yue got the table cleaned and stepped out from the cabin of Zhou Liying. Without wasting any second, she reported to Zhou Bingbing how Zhou Liying had finished her dinner, not leaving any leftover behind.

Zhou Liying stopped in front of the window. She tucked her hands in the pockets of her pants and stared at the beautiful view of the city. Her heart was again turning heavy.

'When was the last time someone was so concerned about my meals?' she thought and she failed to find an answer.

Although Zhou BingBing and Zhou Yonge asked her many times if she had her food or not, he was the first one to bring food to her mouth.

"You are good HanHan, too good for me. I am sorry, but I can't marry you." She trailed her finger on the frosty glass of her window and draw a sad smiley.

"Miss." Liam knocked on her office door and she let him in.

"What brings you here?" she asked without turning away from the window.

"The details about Miss Qin. Your doubt is right, she is not pregnant." Liam passed her the documents of his research.

"Good." Zhou Liying accepted the documents and roughly read through them.

A smirk appeared on her lips when she saw a clear-cut photo in which Qin Yutong was bribing the doctor with money.

"Do you want me to send these pieces of evidence to the Fan family?" Liam inquired.

"Not so soon." Zhou Liying returned him the file. "Let her climb a little higher. Let her speak more lies, let her reach near her goals, only then will I expose her."

Zhou Liying looked ahead with a vicious smile. She knew the best occasion to expose Qin Yutong, it was the day when she'd marry Fan Yifeng.

Qin Yutong had destroyed her engagement day and now she's destroy her wedding.

Mu Yuehan hooted loudly in victory when he received a call from Zhou Bingbing that Zhou Liying had the dinner cooked by him with much gusto.

He was happy about the fact that she did not get the food thrown out or distributed among the employees. He was satisfied that the food which he cooked with so much love reached her stomach.

"Boss, Marta is on face time." Li Tao informed. The smile on the lips of Mu Yuehan vanished. He accepted the I-pad from Li Tao and looked at the face of Marta.
