Chapter 203 Return.

Zhou Liying closed her eyes and leaned against the seat of her jet. She felt glad, to be on the safer side. She had already asked her pilot to bring her jet to Vegas. Otherwise, she would have needed to take the commercial flight which she liked no longer.

With closed eyes, Zhou Liying was thinking about what happened with her in the last few weeks. She always thought her life was in her control but now, everything was going out of her hand. This terrified her beyond means.

She sighed and thought about her future, what was she going to do now, how she was going to take her life back in her control?

With an amused expression on his face, Mu Yuehan looked at the cheque which Zhou Liying left for her. He crushed the cheque with his hand and slyness appeared in his eyes.

He was aware of why she left this cheque behind. She wanted to anger him. She wanted to make him hate her because of her attitude. But she did not know, Mu Yuehan knew her better than she knew herself.

He was familiar with her each pulse. He somewhat knew what was running in the cunning mind of hers!

He opened his phone and looked at her photos which he clicked last night. He gently run his finger on her face. He sighed with longing, "soon, soon you will be back in my arms. I will make your heart crazy for me that you will forget about all your rubbish reasons to be away from me."

Mu Yuehan placed his phone aside. He stood up from the bed and wore his boxers. He was feeling slightly chilly but he did not mind it. He opened the window and saw the city covered in snow. A smile appeared on his lips.

"Even god is showering the earth with snow because he is happy with our reunion." Mu Yuehan smiled to himself and returned to his room. He made his way to the bathroom to have a shower.

After taking shower, Mu Yuehan decided to call Zhan Wei.

"Is everything alright, buddy?" Mu Yuehan asked with concern when he heard a throaty and sad voice from the other side of phone.

"Everything Is alright." He smoothly lied. "It's just cold." Zhan Wei made some coughing sounds which Mu Yuehan knew were fake. "Why are you calling?"

"I have decided to disclose my identity. I want the world to know that Lili is my wife. She is off the limit." He smirked.

"Really?" there was clear happiness in the voice of Zhan Wei.

He cried happy tears upon hearing this piece of good news from Mu Yuehan. From so long, he was working hard as Mu Yuehan, but now no more, finally!

"Yup, I am doing this for Lili." Mu Yuehan smiled, a doting and loving smile.

"Oh, I am so happy." Zhan Wei squealed, forgetting all about his pain from last night. Mu Yuehan gave him one of the biggest happiness. He wanted to dance and celebrate. "I will immediately call the media houses for a press conference. Tell me the date?"

"Day after tomorrow."

"Done."

"Also, I want you to take the next flight to Italy. Buy me the earrings getting auctioned by the royal family in Italy."

The smile on the lips of Zhan Wei immediately vanished when he heard Mu Yuehan. His eyes became wide. He groaned. "It's so hard. Don't you know they are auctioned by royal family?" he screeched.

"I know and that's why I am sending you there instead of going myself. Now go, stop wasting your time."

"You are evil. Giving happiness and then snatching it another second." Zhan Wei angrily mumbled under his breath. He was fuming. "I am going. Do not worry. I know otherwise you will have my head."

Mu Yuehan chuckled when he heard the irritation of his friend. He ended the call and thought about the earnings going to be auctioned in the Italy.

'They will look beautiful in the ears of Lili.'

Mu Yuehan sighed and again opened the contact list of his phone. He decided to call his cousin Mu Jingyan. He was aware of the hurt of Zhan Wei. He was sure he got drunk last night like usual. He again wanted to pursue Jingyan to return to Shanghai.

"Gege." He heard the voice of Mu Jingyan from other side of the phone. He smiled.

"How are you doing, Jingyan?"

"As usual." He heard her bored voice. "Now tell me, why have you called me? Because I know, you never call for chit chat."

"You know why I am calling you." There was a sudden dip in the voice of Mu Yuehan.

Mu Jingyan sighed. She blinked her eyes, to hide her sadness and tears. "And you know what my answer is. I am not ready to return. This city scares me. Its people…. Arghh, I am not returning."

"Then should I send Zhan Wei to California? We both know he is suffering without you. It has been two years that you left but still, he is not able to get over you."

"Gege." Mu Jingyan took a sadness filled sigh. "We both know, it's better for him if he forgets about me. I cannot give him the life of love which he deserves."

"Give him a try. His love will be enough for you both." Voice of Mu Yuehan was soft and full of concern. "It's my advice for you to come back. You have already mourned for two years. For how many more years are you going to stay away from reality?"

"Please don't pursue me to come back. I know what I am doing. My return will not do any good for Zhan Wei. It will be better for us all if he moves on. Tell him to forget about me. Send him on blind dates but don't ask me to return." Voice of Mu Jingyan was harsh and firm.

She spoke loudly with anger but Mu Yuehan caught longing in her voice. He knew it was not easy for her to let go of Zhan Wei but she was doing so for their wellbeing.

"Okay, I will not. Tell me, how is work at California?"

Mu Yuehan ended the call. He looked at his phone with defeat. He knew he could easily order Mu Jingyan to return but he did not want to force her. He knew it would be of no good for Mu Jingyan or his friend.

He could only wish for Mu Jingyan to change her mind.
