Chapter 227 Stood Up On Him.

Fan Yifeng fumed in anger. He banged on the table and stood up. "How dare of him to not show up? Doesn't he know that he is disrespecting me? Has he forgotten about the conduct of business?" he hollered.

"Mister Fan, don't raise your voice." Li Tao walked toward him and looked at him with domination. "Don't forget that Mu Yuehan is the king of the business world. He does not work with the rule of conduct of the industry. He has his own rules. He doesn't need to meet with anyone."

He stepped closer to him in a threatening way. He glared at him and said in a sharp voice, "Take my advice and leave. If not then I will get angry and then my boss. You know what the results are once he is angry. Now leave."

Fan Yifeng gritted his teeth. "But I have privilege card from Mu Yifei. He has to meet me."

"Having the privilege card does not mean that you can meet the boss. It is his wish to whom he wants to meet and to whom he does not. He does not want to meet you. He made it clear to me. He has other commitments which do not include meeting you." Li Tao stepped aside and motioned toward the door.

Fan Yifeng glared at Li Tao. He felt insulted that a mare assistant was able to throw him out from the Mu corporations. He wrapped his arms around Qin Yutong's waist and left the building of Mu corporations.

"This all is the fault of Yeteng. Didn't she proudly claim that we can meet Mu Yuehan after using the privileged card?" Qin Yutong gritted her teeth. She felt angry at her sister. She felt insulted for getting thrown out.

"Calm down. Do not get angry. Anger is not good for your health." Fan Yifeng lovingly pulled her close to himself. He lowered his eyes and looked at her belly.

"How can I not be angry? You were insulted. Mu Yuehan denied to meet you even when you were there in his office. Now, what will you do about your idea of a home project for lake city?" Qin Yutong looked up at him with concern.

"Silly girl!" he slapped her head. "Here you are sad for me and here I feel sad because you didn't get an opportunity to talk with Mu Yuehan about making you the face of Mu corporations."

"How can I think about my future before you?" She smiled at him and leaned against his shoulder. She hid her face from his sight and hateful expression appeared on her face.

Two days back, she had forced Qin Yeteng to use her friendship with Mu Yifei. Unwillingly Qin Yeteng asked for the privilege card from Mu Yifei.

The motto behind Qin Yutong to ask for the card was to talk with Mu Yuehan, about becoming the face of his company. Recently, he had fired their company's top model and now she dreamt of taking her place.

She shared with Fan Yifeng about the provided card, only to impress him. Otherwise, she was not concerned if he got the deal with Mu Yuehan or not.

"I will approach Zhou corporations with my project. I am sure, the CEO of that company is not cruel or busy like Mu Yuehan."

Qin Yutong scoffed. "Don't forget how my father was insulted by the cousin of that arrogant CEO."

"Don't worry, I know someone who will help me meet Zhou Liying, if not her, then Zhou Yonge. I am sure, they will like my idea and will let me become a part of the lake city project." He opened the car door for her. "Stop thinking about me and think about our baby. I can't wait to hold our baby In the next seven months."

Qin Yutong beamed at him and entered inside the car. She clenched her fists and looked at her stomach. She needed to do something to prepone the wedding dates before someone realised her pretence.

After reaching his mansion, Fan Yifeng personally gave a call to Qin Yeteng.

"Brother in law, why are you calling me? Is everything all right?" Qin Yeteng asked with concern. She hated her family: yes. But she respected Fan Yifeng. He was like a brother to her.

"Can't I call you without any reasons?" he chuckled. "I hope I am not disturbing you."

"Nah, you are not. It was my break time anyways."

Fan Yifeng lightly talked with Qin Yeteng, asking about her career before coming to the point. "We went to meet Mu Yuehan. But he did not come to meet us. Did you ask Mu Yifei to ask him to meet us?"

Qin Yeteng rolled her eyes. "Brother in law, did you take an appointment before visiting him?"

"Did I need an appointment even when I held the privilege card?"

Qin Yeteng shock her head. "I think you are becoming stupid after staying with Yutong for long. Do you think you can meet with Mu Yuehan only because you have a card? He is busy. You still need an appointment. Besides, do not forget that today is Sunday. And not everyone comes to work on Sunday."

Fan Yifeng scolded himself when he heard her. She was right, today was Sunday. No big deal, Mu Yuehan did not give him time.

"Can you please again talk with your friend and ask her to set my meeting with her brother? I desperately want to meet him." He begged.

Qin Yeteng sighed. She looked down with dejection. She did not want to use her friendship for others benefit. "Okay, I will see what I can do."

"Thank you, Qin Yeteng. Do this one favour for me and I will talk with your parents about you moving out of their house."

A mocking smile appeared on her lips. The sadness appeared in her eyes. Everyone knew how to use her and now, Fan Yifeng too got a hold on her weak nerve and that was to move out from her parent's house, to be finally fully alone and independent.

"We will see it in future." And with that, she ended the call.
