Chapter 94 - Metal Suit
A figure clad in silver and gold metallic armor was seen dashing across one of the arctic landmass. With an axe on one hand, and a basic-looking round shield on the other, the figure fought fiercely against three mutated seals two meter long.
Sharp ice shards formed around the seals and shot at breakneck speed as they tried to strike down the metallic figure. However, despite the armor he wore, the figure moved swiftly and accurately as he dodged all of the ice shards.
Dodge, block, and strike with powerful slash using the axe on his hand, the figure didn't have problem handling the three mutated seals. The wound that the axe dealt was deep enough to harm the creature. However, it took dozens of such wounds before one of the seals stopped in their tracks, as it bled out to exhaustion and collapsed on the snowy ground.
Swiisshhh!!
The air seemed to be split apart as the figure swung his axe downward, towards the collapsed seal's head.

"Alright!" The figure excitedly shouted. "Finally!!"
The metallic figure is no other than Viktor, who was trying out the new skill for the first time. Moreover, it was only after he killed his eighth mutated seal of the day that he finally received the much awaited notification in mind.
Since this morning, Viktor had been battling the mutated seals. He was trying to get used to the new metal suit he had, which was oddly much more comfortable than he initially thought.
Instead of the heaviness that a metal suit usually had, it felt more like a rubber suit due to how light he felt when wearing it. Thanks to this, Viktor couldn't help but think that he was one of those superheroes from the movies.
With the help of his new [Metal Fusion] skill, Viktor was able to boost his battle power up to another level.

The new, tempered version of the armor gave Viktor a buff that increases his battle power by 10 points, which by no means a small amount though it looked like it.
His speed was already fast before, but now with another 10 points added to the 70, none of these Antarctic creatures have a chance to touch his shadow, much less hit him.
The 44 points in strength Viktor obtained was decent enough to help him carve deep cuts onto the creature's body. However, it still took him at least a dozen attacks before the creature was finally taken down.
As a result, with the need of constantly dodging from its teeth and tail, the fight still took him a decently long time and effort.
Due to the location he was currently at, the slight hint of warmth in the air was the only indication that it was almost noon. Viktor spun his weapon and grinned. There were still two fierce seals standing in front of him and he was ready for a riskier fight.
"Are you angry?" Viktor swung his axe around and yelled "Then come and chase me!"
He had already wounded the two seals, but he deliberately decided not to finish them off. Instead, he taunted them and ran towards another group of mutated seals in the vicinity.
To onlookers, what he as trying to do was simply an act of suicide, as Viktor was clearly trying to attract a few mutated seals to one place at the same time.
"Two… four… six.. seven!"
Seven fierce mutated seals had gathered and surrounded him, but Viktor wasn't even fazed. He quickly used his hidden trump card, [All Might].

As he read the notification, he saw that the divine skill only increased his base strength points.
However, coupled with the buff from [Metal Fusion], Viktor has a total of 86 points of strength, more than enough to turn him into a beast that would cleave all the beasts as if they were paper.
"Come here, all of you!"
Using his newfound strength, Viktor was able to decapitate one of the seal's heads in one swing. He charged to the second one nearby - creating a long stroke, and the chosen seal's back was sliced open like a zipper. Then in the next second, he tossed his axe toward the third one a few feet away, instantly killing it.
However, Viktor did not escape the consequences of his dangerous stunt. Because he was focused on attacking, one of the seals managed to land a bite on his arm, leaving a noticeable mark in the tier 1 armor he created.
"Hahaha, no biting for you bitch!"
Unfortunately for the seal who had bit Viktor, its attempt was futile as it was not enough to stop Viktor. It wasn't even able to pierce the metal armor.
As Viktor grabbed the biting creature with his two arm, another pounced at him from his left, trying to follow with another bite. Alas, the only thing the creature achieved was a beating as Viktor calmly gave the creature a strong kick.
With adrenaline coursing through his body, Viktor stared at the one in his arm and used both hands to tear the seal's jaw apart, killing the creature violently as blood splatter all around. The stark contrast between red blood and white ground was stunning, to say the least.
Then, Viktor swiftly walked toward the one he just kicked and once again kicked it with all his strength.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
His last kick was able to crush the fifth seal's head into an unrecognizable mess.
With this, Viktor managed to kill five seals within minutes while being surrounded. Instead of throwing themselves into him to avenge their kin, the last two quickly turned around and ran for their lives.
However, Viktor refused to let his prey get away that easily. He picked up his axe that was stuck in one of the dead seals and immediately chased after the remaining two to kill them before they could reach the water.

In his previous attempt, it took him 3 hours to whittle 8 mutated seals to death. Now with this tactic, he managed to deal with 7 within only 4 minutes.

The reason why Viktor didn't quickly run was because the Djinn had confirmed that there are no seals within one mile vicinity hence he need not worry about the stat drawback, in fact just as what he previously guessed, with the fusion skill still on, he could feel the drawback wasn't making him as weak as previously.
