Prologue

With the variety of neon signs that brightly illuminate the streets at night, various towering buildings reach up high as if connected to the dark sky, and even the constellations that were a decisive part of his distant memories.

As he gazed upon the distant scenery and landscape, he realized,

“I’m back!”

The stuffy air that penetrated deep into his lungs stirred up memories from the distant past, and even sensually recognized his return.

“Earth…”

Could it be described as a subtle emotion?

For some reason, he felt choked up and had to look up at the sky, taking a deep breath.

Observing the Big Dipper constellation, he savored a deep aftertaste.

“…I really came back.”

Then, he noticed something.

“Is that a shooting star?”

Something twinkling in the distance seemed to be coming closer, cutting through the sky.

“Huh? What’s that?”

A vague memory from the past came to mind.

“…a missile?”

It wasn’t until later that he realized the true nature of what was approaching.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Boom!

It was already too late.

On the day when he returned to Earth after hundreds of years,

Just like firing a cannon,

A refreshing bombing welcomed him.
