“But I didn’t forget you while I was with your grandma. I wanted to call you in the morning, but it would have been midnight on your side. I didn’t want to disturb your Daddy Lu’s sleep,” Lin Wan explained.
“Alright, I’ll forgive Lin Wan,” Lin Xiaoran playfully assented, with a hint of assertiveness in his tone.

“Mom, I haven’t brushed my teeth yet. My breath stinks,” Lin Xiaoran retorted. “Let’s do that later. You belong to me only. I’m not worried about you kissing anyone else.”
