Lin Wan discerned the man’s intentions and struggled to maintain composure. She smiled and replied, “I’m sorry, I’m not interested.”
“Why not?” The man persisted with his lascivious smile. Upon glancing at Lin Wan’s face and chest, he continued, “I promise you won’t regret it. Come on!” As he spoke, the man extended his hand toward Lin Wan.
Reacting swiftly, Lin Wan took a couple of steps back.
Yet, due to nervousness and high heels, she lost her balance and began falling backward.
She thought she would fall to the ground.
Suddenly, a long arm wrapped around Lin Wan’s waist and supported her entire body in midair.
Lin Wan’s mind went blank. Suddenly, she recognized a familiar scent.
