v3 Chapter 20: vanishing cabinet

Seeing William here, Lucius was also stunned, almost mistakenly thinking that he had come to the wrong place.

"Why are you here?" he frowned.

"Shopping." William felt the other party's domineering attitude and narrowed his eyes: "Why, is the Borkin store a family business of the Malfoy family?"

Although William was talking to Lucius, he looked at old Borgin.

Borgin bowed slightly and said, "Mr. Stark is my customer. What are you doing, Mr. Malfoy?"

Lucius just snorted and walked towards the counter with his son.

William didn't leave, but wandered around the store, as if he wanted to buy something.

Lucius looked at William, but he was cheeky and had no intention of leaving.

When Dad was here, Draco didn't dare to go up to say hello, he could only stand alone with his head bowed and like a minion.

William seemed drawn to a dry arm, where he kept looking at the sign.

There was no way for Bo Jin to drive people away. William was a regular customer and a tech nerd, and he didn't want to offend him.

But obviously, with William here, Malfoy won't sell anything.

After a stalemate for about three minutes, Borgin led Malfoy to the back room.

After the three walked away, William said, "Come out, Harry, don't hide."

The rule here is that when others are selling things, third parties cannot watch.

William wasn't interested in what Malfoy was selling. He came here to sell black magic items that couldn't be seen.

Apparently, Mr Weasley's search gave him a certain amount of pressure.

If he hadn't been hiding here when he saw Harry, William would have left immediately, and there was no need to stay here.

Sure enough, just after his voice fell, a large black cabinet was opened, and Harry got out from it.

William raised his eyebrows and shook his head: "Harry, you are really bold."

"What's wrong?" Harry asked suspiciously, patting the soot on his body.

"There are many things in the Bojin store that I don't even dare to touch. You actually see a cabinet and go into it."

William really didn't know whether to call Harry bold or dying.

But sometimes being too bold is indeed a synonym for death.

"Is this cabinet dangerous?" Harry asked suspiciously.

Black cabinets look unremarkable.

"This is a vanishing cabinet, a very precious magical item," William explained.

Vanishing cabinets are generally two in pairs, similar to double-sided mirrors.

Put something in a vanishing cabinet, and another cabinet will appear, which is a precious magic item transmitted by space.

There is only one in the Borkin store, and I don't know where the other is.

So it's a very risky thing to hide in a vanishing cabinet, you don't know where the other cabinet is.

It could be anywhere, maybe in Azkaban, and then open the cabinet door and you'll find a surprise.

William took out a Nat from his pocket and put it in the vanishing cabinet, then closed the door. After opening it again, Nat was gone.

Seeing this situation, Harry also broke out in a cold sweat. Fortunately, he didn't close the door just now, but just used it to eavesdrop, otherwise the person might just disappear.

"What is this?" Harry looked at the dry arm that William had been watching.

"Hand of Glory." William picked up his arm.

"It's a black magic artifact, and after a candle is in the arm, only the person holding the arm can see the candle light."

This light can even penetrate the darkness created by Peru's stealth smoke bombs, which most glowing spells can't do.

So this is a good helper for thieves to steal things in the middle of the night and tomb robbers to enter ancient tombs.

Well... the goblins of Gringotts should love it, they're ramping up their efforts to reclaim the pyramids.

"How did you know this?" Harry asked again.

"Read more, read more newspapers, eat less snacks, and sleep more." William put his arms back into the distance.

"The Hogwarts library is the largest library in the world. Anything you don't know, you can find the answer in it, especially the restricted area."

"But I remember that little wizards can't enter the restricted area..."

"It's fine with the approval of the professor, and Professor Flitwick will always give me the approval." William smiled, "Come on, Malfoy and the others are coming out, I think you don't want Malfoy to see you like this?"

Harry was covered in soot at this point and wore broken glasses.

As they walked out of the store, William swung his wand to remove the dust from Harry's body and repaired his glasses.

"Thank you." Harry couldn't help looking around.

In front of you is a dirty alley, which seems to be full of dark magic shops on both sides. The one he had just come out of was called Borgin Bock, and it seemed to be the largest, but there were some shrunken heads gloomily displayed in the window of the opposite one.

"William, where is this?"

"Knockturn Alley, don't come here when you are alone." William instructed.

Of course William wasn't worried about Harry, but he was afraid that he was too reckless to bring Hermione here.

This is really not the place for a little wizard.

"By the way, why are you here alone? How about Fred George and the others?" William asked.

"I don't know. When I used Floo powder, the big concept was in the wrong place." Harry quickly explained.

He had come to Diagon Alley with the Weasleys, but instead read Diagon Alley as Knockturn Alley.

The two were about to walk out of the alley when an old witch came over, holding a plate that looked like a whole piece of dead man's fingernails.

She squinted, showing her mossy teeth.

"Little handsome guy, come and play!"

Harry took two steps back in fear.

"Get out!" William raised his wand, and a hot purple flame spewed out of it, landing on his nails.

The old woman stepped back hastily, and scolded her way into a wooden door.

"Who is that?"

"A dark wizard, do you see the plate in her hand? It's all fingernails taken from a living person, and then makes objects with a cursed nature. She likes you alone as a child."

Harry shuddered and decided not to come here again.

William took Harry to Diagon Alley and found Hermione and Annie at the Florin's cold drink shop.

The two bought two more strawberry ice creams each.

"Okay, don't eat any more, you will catch cold if you eat too much." William warned.

Anne hummed and reluctantly, William gave her a 'sweet chestnut', and she immediately became honest.

Hermione was more obedient, not going to eat any more, but she was reluctant to throw away the rest, and handed it to William.

William sat next to the girl, picked up the spoon, and fell down with a few efforts.

Harry pulled up a chair and sat down beside him.

"Harry, why are you here?" Hermione asked.

Harry was quick to explain himself, and he looked at William.

"What are the Malfoys selling?"

"Probably the dark magic item in his house." William wiped his mouth.

"Then why don't you..."

"Stop? Call the police? Or report the Auror?" William asked rhetorically Harry was dumbfounded.

Yeah, what can they two little wizards do in a shop?

Is it still possible to pick up a wand and fight Malfoy until the Ministry of Magic arrives?

"I think I can tell Mr. Weasley," Harry suggested.

"Of course, but it won't work too well." William recounted the fact that the Ministry of Magic had raided the Malfoy house.

Mr. Weasley couldn't search Malfoy Manor thoroughly without a warrant, much less likely now.

Malfoy's strength is still very strong, especially proficient in the magic of banknote ability.
