v5 Chapter 4: Death's Guidance

A dark red star hung in the sky, and William's attention was completely attracted.

The mist dyed eerily red and enlarged the star as if it were a glowing wound.

William was dazed and a little dazed, thinking hard...

What was he doing before?

Memories are slowly taking shape... just like the gurgling bubbles, rising to the surface from the unfathomable seabed.

William remembered.

He and Hermione took the express train from Florence to Venice.

Why is it here?

dream?

But... it's real here, it's not like a dream!

Besides, who knows when they are dreaming that they are dreaming?

The fog was getting bigger and bigger, and a river appeared not far away.

The river appeared so abruptly, but William was not surprised.

Seems like it's always been there!

across the river,

Suddenly a person appeared.

Across the tumbling river, he stood under the dense elder tree, opposite William; he was motionless, solemn, and his wide hood completely covered his entire face.

William did not cross the river. He instinctively felt that the breath of death in the water was everywhere.

no bridge?

Still need him to...build one?

William was about to touch the wand when the person opposite suddenly said:

"He who bears the crown of wisdom,

Follow in the footsteps of the Doge of Venice. "

The man's voice was low, and to William's ears, it seemed that he was speaking in his head.

"Who are you?" he shouted, but no sound came out.

"He has lied,

cut off the horse's head,

Take away the bones of the blind..."

The river continued to churn along with his words.

"The flood will cover the sky,

The Holy Grail burns at the bottom of the tomb.

The depths of the rebirth of the phoenix,

The lagoon does not reflect the stars.

Monsters wait in the dark,

Merlin's prophecy will eventually come true. "

"What do you mean?" William's mouth widened. "Who are you?"

He wanted to get closer, but the river in front of him became more turbulent and impenetrable.

William looked up again, to the hooded wizard.

Without warning, he disappeared into the air. The tall elderberry branches and leaves made a rustling sound.

The river was boiling, like a huge wave, hitting William.

William suddenly opened his eyes and woke up from a dazed sleep.

After a few breaths, he realized that he was lying on a huge ottoman.

The train was leaving Florence at high speed, making a soft and repeated clicking sound and a slight shaking motion.

Hermione was already sitting up, looking at the boy worriedly.

William slowly remembered that he and Hermione were lying here, admiring the Italian scenery outside the train window.

It was probably the continuous rain and the slight shaking of the train that made him fall asleep.

The girl asked softly, "William, have you had a nightmare?"

William nodded lightly, he frowned, and said strangely: "It seems... yes, I'm not sure, is that a nightmare."

Hermione sat cross-legged, hugged William's head gently, rested it on her fair leg, and rubbed his temples for him.

William closed his eyes, still thinking about what happened just now.

He thought for a while, then suddenly opened his eyes and said, ''Remember the story I told you about Nico? "

Hermione stroked William's eyebrows without pausing her fingers. She quickly recalled:

"Remember, you said he had a dream about a wizard with a hood.

The man told him that in a cave on the northwest coast of the Arabian Sea, there was a legendary alchemy book.

Just take that book, study it hard, and understand it thoroughly, and you can gain extraordinary knowledge..."

William stared into Hermione's eyes and said softly, "I also dreamed of a wizard with a hood just now."

Hermione's fingers paused, and she pondered, "This doesn't mean anything... maybe it's just a dream..."

Well, Nico was dreaming too.

But he believed it, and after only one breakfast time, he decided to sell all his belongings, and immediately set off to look for it in a foreign country.

There was no hesitation.

And... really found the alchemy book!

Then, dreams are sometimes not just dreams, but may also be the **** of death...guidance!

"The wizard in your dream also indicated the location of a Deathly Hallows?" Hermione squinted.

"No, he said something close to prophecy."

William wrote the words of the hooded wizard on parchment.

Hermione read it twice, but didn't understand what it meant. However, this passage clearly mentions one word:

Holy Grail!

According to Nico's guess, the Holy Grail is a Deathly Hallows.

It first appeared in the hands of Jesus, and then after **** died, Joseph of Arimathea buried him and brought the Holy Grail to Britain.

Galahad, one of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table, used the magical power of the Holy Grail to heal the dying king.

Later, Galahad gave the Holy Grail to the wizard Merlin.

Merlin hid the Holy Grail in the memorial hall under Stonehenge, but then disappeared again.

And the **** of death appeared in William's dream, is it to guide him to the position of the Holy Grail?

William suddenly remembered Merlin's motto:

You don't have to look for the Holy Grail, the Holy Grail will come to you.

Are you looking for him now? Even the address was given, but William didn't understand it.

The two discussed it for a while, and Hermione burned the parchment. It's not a big mistake to be careful, the content has been firmly remembered in her mind.

"...I think we can check the "Common Dream Interpretation", maybe the book will talk about the meaning of dreaming of death."

Hermione was still trying to characterize the event as a dream.

However, her tone was not sure. After all, there are examples of Nicole here, and it is unlikely to find the answer in the book.

William nodded without objection. He changed to a more comfortable position, resting his head on the pillow.

Hermione also lay down, leaning one side of her face against William's chest, looking out of the car window with a pair of aura eyes.

The train was still galloping, and neither of them spoke, as if they had fallen asleep again.

They have been in Italy for many days.

In fact, within a few days of the summer vacation, William and Hermione left England for Italy.

The International United Wizarding Conference will be held on the thirteenth, and there will be ten days in between.

They came so early, naturally not enthusiastic about the meeting, but went to various places in Italy to play.

Anyway, the Ministry of Magic reimburses you, and you don't play for nothing. Along the way, you must stay in the best hotels, eat the most expensive food, and play the wildest projects.

They started from Pompeii, passed through several cities, and made their way north to Rome. Leaving Florence at this time, heading for Venice.

The current position of the two is in a high-end box of a train. There is a double bed, two leather seats, and a folding table.

William turned his gaze out of the car window to see the pastel tones of the Italian countryside, interspersed and merged into a peaceful collage The foothills of the Apennine Mountains gradually replaced the plains, with fewer vineyards and farms .

The train will soon wind its way through the mountain pass before continuing down, all the way east, towards the Adriatic Sea.

The closer you get to the sea, the heavier the rain will be. This is said to be a once-in-a-century heavy rain in meteorological history, and it has been falling for half a month.

William suddenly remembered what Death said:

The flood will cover the sky,

The Holy Grail burns at the bottom of the tomb.

I hope this trip to Venice is safe and sound.

He folded his palms inwardly.
