CH 11

Chapter 11 – It seems that JK Idol-san is interested in taking a walk (part 3)

After lunch, we took a walk around the pond.

Under the ordinary nature, we strolled and exchanged light-hearted conversations.

There weren't many people here, even on a holiday afternoon. If there were any, they were just runners or elderly people who knew nothing about Sakurazaki.

"It's getting a bit hot, isn't it?"

Suddenly, Sakura removed the light blue hairpin that tied her side ponytail and let her hair down.

A sweet, fruity fragrance emanated from her flowing hair.

"Hey, Himahara-kun, which do you like better, the tied-up or the loose version of my hair?"

"............"

I was captivated.

Her straight, glossy hair shimmered beautifully in the sunlight.

"Hey? Are you listening?"

"Ah, uh, what was that?"

"Mmm! I'm asking which version of my hair you prefer, the usual one or the loose one?"

"Ah, I don't really mind either."

"Not minding is not an option! Come on, choose the version you like, Himahara-kun!"

Even though she asked me to choose the one I like...

The usual hairstyle looks childish and suits Sakurazaki, but this one...

"If I had to choose... I think I prefer the loose version of your hair."

"Hmm..."

"Why? Is something wrong?"

"There's nothing wrong."

She's really making things difficult.

"Oh, Himahara-kun. I have a request..."

"What is it?"

"After the next performance is over and I have some free time, I want to go to the zoo... Would you like to come?"

Sakura looked at me with pleading eyes, like a child asking for something. Sigh...

"I understand. The zoo, huh."

"Really?!"

"Well, you want to go, don't you?"

"Yes..."

Sakura nodded with a beaming smile.

"Oh, Himahara-kun, can I take a picture of you?"

"A picture? Hey, don't point the camera at me!"

"Yes, I'll take it... Ahaha, you look so silly, Himahara-kun!"

"Hey, delete that!"

"Nope!"

"Hey, Sakurazaki..."

Honestly, I'm constantly being toyed with by Sakurazaki.

After that, we went to the Shinobazu Pond Bentendo, a power spot, stopped by a flea market, and played with stray cats, spending time together.

Wherever we went, Sakurazaki's smile never disappeared.

"Himahara-kun, thank you for everything."

"Oh yeah, yeah. So, did you feel a bit refreshed?"

"Yes! My tiredness from the past week just vanished."

"I see. That's good."

"Hey, Himahara-kun."

"Hmm?"

"When we get home... can I call you?"

"...It's fine, but don't talk for too long."

"Yes! So, see you later, Himahara-kun."

In front of Ueno Station, I parted ways with Sakurazaki.

Why does she want to call me after getting home? If there's something, she should have said it before we parted.

The mystery deepens.
