Chapter 38 Sleeping Together
“I’ll crush you.” If it were any other time, Yun Feng would have agreed immediately.
The little rabbit finally overcame her timidness and stuck her head out to invite him. Anyone who didn’t seize the opportunity was a fool.
Huo Ru narrowed her eyes and smiled. “The nurse already said that I’m fine. Don’t think that my injuries are serious, it’s actually all light injuries.”
Yun Feng’s willpower when facing Huo Ru did not allow him to retort a second time. He immediately nodded and agreed.
The two of them lay on the bed. Huo Ru smelled his refreshing scent, like freshly harvested grass. The fear and hiding she’d experienced the night before were no longer important, she felt sweet inside.
She stole a look at Yun Feng and saw that he was staring at her intently. Her face flushed red as she said, “I told you to sleep. Why are you staring at me?”
“I like staring at you.”
“Aiya, you’re so annoying. I’m going to sleep.” Huo Ru pulled the blanket over her head.
Yun Feng reached out and pulled the blanket down. “Don’t cover your head and sleep. It’s not good for your health.”
Huo Ru fell asleep in a few minutes. Yun Feng caressed her cheek gently, his eyes darkened when he saw the wounds on her body.
He got out of bed nimbly, opened the ward door, and walked out.
At the door, Hao Ming was already on guard, praying for the person who had angered his boss. He had rarely seen his boss so angry.
“Give them a warning. Get rid of the person who bumped into Madam at the end.” Yun Feng’s gaze was cold. “Even if he’s just a lackey, he has to be responsible for what he did for his Master.”
“Then… are we going to let the Huo family off just like that?” Hao Ming couldn’t believe that the president was so angry, but it turned out to be nothing
