“Alright, Yario, Crutteruo, let’s begin our great adventure!!!”

Yario, Crutteruo, and I were flying through the air on Chuntaro!
“Chuntaro, speed up! Strengthening magic ‘Speed Burst’!”
“Pyooooooooooooooooooooo!”
Chuntaro the firebird conquered the skies with explosive speed.
With his level having gone up to 70, his speed had skyrocketed. If I didn’t grab on to him with all my strength, I would be blown away by the wind pressure.
It’d be really bad if I did, too.
“Hey, isn’t that Yuri flying over there?!”
“Kill her! Magicians, shoot her down!”
“Archers, fire at will!”
Magic lasers and arrows came flying at us from below.
It was the work of the Goddess’ side players on the ground. After yesterday’s massacre parade, their thirst for blood was lit, and now both sides would kill each other as long as we met.
As Chuntaro evade the attacks, I used ‘Arms Barrier’ to send exploding weapons to the ground and blew up the enemies.
“Wahahaha, they’re dead! This kind of feels like I’m piloting a fighter jet! So fun~!”
“Eeeeeeeeeek… she blew them up without a thought…!” “Get a grip, Yario! We knew things were going to be like this when we decided to follow Yuri!”
The plain spear-wielder Yario shook, and the furry-eared girl Crutteruo patted him on the back. The sight made them look like a pair of brothers and sisters.
–Why was I traveling with them? You might ask.
Well, when I had logged in spiritedly as usual, the two had come up to me and deeply bowed their heads to me.
They had then said, “We don’t want to get defeated anymore, so please train us so we can become stronger.”
…Well, they were top players, sure, but if you asked me if they were super strong, I couldn’t say yes. They themselves were apparently aware of that, hence they had made such a request.
And so, I formed up a temporary party with them.
“Hey, I know it’s kind of late to ask this, but are you guys sure about this? I’ve never taught anyone, you know? Plus, the great war is only two days away…”
“It’s okay, ‘Master Yuri’! Just show us what you always do!”

I ended up grinning without me knowing while clinging to Chuntaro.
Following Yario, Crutteruo nodded with a resolute look on her face. “That’s right. I don’t mean to brag, but Yario and I have gotten our hands on all sorts of advanced arts, and our levels don’t fall behind you, either. But we still lost to those assassins. So we figured what we lacked was willpower and guts…!
“So, Master Yuri, please show us how you fight today!”

Mood boosted, I cast advanced strengthening magic ‘Hyper Speed Burst’ on Chuntaro and he flew even faster!

A few minutes later. We had made it to a deserted island…!
How, you asked? Well, let me explain.
With the first update, players now could only ride flying monsters such as Firebirds for five minutes tops.
I’d completely forgotten about it, and Chuntaro had disappeared five minutes after being summoned.
With that, the three of us had fallen into a raging river.
From there, we had been swept along the rapids, fallen down a waterfall, and gone further downstream like riding a waterslide then thrown into the sea where a huge whirlpool awaited us.
Then, we had become like laundry in a washing machine.
We all had screamed “Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek?!” as we had been swallowed by the whirlpool, and when we had come to, we had been washed up on the shore of some island…!
“Man, didn’t expect I’d go on that kind of a wild ride when I logged in today. But seriously, where are we?” I looked around, soaked from head to toe.
It was a natural island with a dense forest. And from the gaps between the trees, I could hear strange cries like “Gaooo” and “Gyooo”. Was there something in there?
“Don’t just look, come at me if you dare!”
I threw out a couple of jabs in the direction of the forest when suddenly there was a ping.

The level of monsters in this area is set to ‘the average level of the players + 15’, and the players are cursed.
