20 Chapter 18 | The Awakening of Ren Kurosawa iii
Ichigo's POV…
FLASHBACK
I walked into the store since I couldn't see the motorcycle from the entrance, oh look wait what's this guy doing? He looks like he's having fun, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed myself… well, actually I can it was the last time I killed… speaking about kill I need too cool it down since I'm going to be living in public now.
He's so adorable though… wait no what did I just say how can I even think like this. I came here for a motorcycle and I'm going to get it. I then jumped over the counter on to the desk; he still can't hear me. I jumped off the desk and couldn't land properly on my feet because of these stupid shoes. I almost fell over and I grabbed him by his waist to stop myself from falling, oh how strong he feels; his hands are ice cold.
Why is he touching me wait I need to let go now I guess… He turned around and pushed me away from him against the desk, he looked at me with a confused look on his face; I looked back at him with widened eyes and a sore back from hitting the desk. I realized what I had done and suddenly felt uncomfortable.
I turned towards the desk, climbed on top of it and jumped over the counter and slowly walked out of the shop. Near my car I felt a strong hand on my right shoulder, I turned back to look at who it was. It was him, the one I held my arms around. For a moment, we stared at each other looking deep into one another's eyes.
I quickly got out of the gaze and said, "I'm sorry for what I did back there, I don't know what came over me." I looked down at the ground embarrassed. He looked at me and put his hand on my chin making me look up at him, he smiled at me and said, "You caught me by surprise and please don't be ashamed of what you did, I know who you are and I've been waiting for you." I looked at him confused, stepped back from him and asked, "What do you mean by that?" While looking at him with curiosity.
"You were here two years ago and I haven't seen you since then, well what I'm trying to say is … I'm glad you did what you did back there." Now I remembered where I knew him from so then I asked, "You're the guy that waved at me while I was in the bus right?" he smiled at me and answered "Yes and I've been thinking about you ever since. My name is Akihiko Naito, and since you're here I'm sure you came to buy yourself the black Kawaasaki Ninja 500R right?"
I looked at him, it's strange how he knew that but I introduced myself anyway, "I'm Ren Kurosawa and yes I was going to ask you about it but you were too busy enjoying yourself so I just stood there watching you for ten minutes… then," I was too embarrassed to complete my sentence; he took my hand and he finished my sentence saying, "Then you decided to join in and dance with me forgetting about the motorcycle."
We laughed for a moment. Akihiko saw how shy I was getting and took my hands once again and led me back into his shop. I followed him to the back of the shop to the garage, when we got there, in the middle of the room was a motorcycle covered with a silk cloth. He removed the cloth and it was the one I wanted, I looked at him and asked, "Why is it here and not inside where the others are?" He smiled as he answered me, "I figured that you wanted it so I kept it here for you."
After hearing those words I felt a strange feeling inside that I never felt before so I smiled back at him shyly; I don't even know why he made me feel so shy. I said, "I do want it but I just don't know how to drive it", "I can always teach you, but that's only if you'll let me," he answered me instantly. "I would like that" I answered.
The two of us covered the motorcycle together in silence and walked back to the front of the store, afterwards, we went back to the front of the shop. Akihiko moved away from me to the other side of the counter sadly I said, "I'll purchase the motorcycle after I'm done with the car, and if it's okay with you I'll come by tomorrow for my first lesson," Akihiko then said, "I'll be here." I smiled back at him then walked out shyly back to the car and drove off; the entire time Akihiko smiled while watching me drive off…
