CH 57

The farce concluded hastily after the guards carried away the Sentinel and the green sea rabbit quantum beast with half of its tail missing.

Jun Ye stood under the tree, holding his struggling sea rabbit, feeling an indescribable awkwardness. It was like when your kid beats up someone else’s kid, and you end up getting beaten up along with the parents…

As the light dimmed, Jun Ye instinctively looked up, only to see Xiu Si’s figure looming over him.

Xiu Si wrapped his arms around Jun Ye from behind, burying his face in Jun Ye’s neck and taking a deep breath. He sighed softly, “I’m glad you’re still here.”

His voice was so faint that if Jun Ye hadn’t been fully focused, waiting for his response, he might have missed it.

Jun Ye patted Xiu Si’s hand around his waist, about to tease him, when Xiu Si continued, “Your body is weak, and our quantum beast types are too different…”

Jun Ye decided to first reassure the sensitive Xiu Si, but before he could speak, he was interrupted again. Xiu Si said earnestly, “Although I can’t give you the pleasures of physical intimacy, I will always be there for you, protecting you, until the end of my life.”

In his mind, Xiu Si silently added, Even if you grow tired of this relationship and find someone more suitable…

Thinking this, he realized that his guide hadn’t responded for a long time. Xiu Si, feeling uncertain, approached Jun Ye, who had turned his partner’s words into “I won’t have intimacy with you physically or emotionally. Let’s live like ascetics for the rest of our lives!”

Jun Ye’s expression froze on his face.

“You…don’t want to?” Xiu Si nervously fidgeted with his fingers.

Jun Ye lifted his expressionless face.

Don’t want to? Are you already thinking about sexual compatibility issues and divorce before we even get married?

A quick and steady footstep, a figure in a golden-trimmed military uniform, the Empress, strode over. Seeing the two embracing, he paused briefly, then continued, “The wedding ceremony is about to begin. Let’s go to the banquet hall first.”

Jun Ye replied and, suppressing his desire to discuss future married life with Xiu Si, stuffed the struggling sea rabbit into Xiu Si’s pocket and led him towards the brightest building.

No matter how life after marriage would be, they had to get married first before making a fuss.

The royal wedding was extremely elaborate. After it was over, Jun Ye returned to his familiar wheelchair.

This made Jun Ye’s mood somewhat worse.

With his already poor physique and now depleted stamina, there was still a tough battle ahead after returning to the room. If he couldn’t “convince” his partner to not follow the path of abstinence due to insufficient physical strength, it would be a big loss.

So, when the Empress came to check on him, Jun Ye coughed weakly.

Seeing Jun Ye’s pale face, the Empress quickly had the accompanying doctor check on him. The doctor’s diagnosis was the usual recommendation to rest more. The Empress, relieved but still concerned, decided that the remaining procedures didn’t necessarily require the presence of the prince, so he ordered the attendants to send him back to rest.

As the attendants pushed him away, the Empress turned around and found Xiu Si standing there, who had appeared at some point. He shook his head helplessly.

With his long legs, Xiu Si quickly caught up with Jun Ye, who was being cautiously pushed by the attendant. He took over pushing the wheelchair.

Jun Ye noticed that there was a new person behind him who hadn’t made any moves. It wasn’t until they returned to the bedroom, where Jun Ye was being diligently served by Xiu Si to freshen up, and he watched Xiu Si tidy up the bed full of flowers before getting up and pushing the worried Sentinel onto the bed.

Jun Ye didn’t say a word, extending his hand to unbutton Xiu Si’s wedding coat one by one.

When his hand moved to the collar of the Sentinel’s undershirt, it was grabbed. Jun Ye looked up.

Xiu Si’s throat moved slightly, and with a dry voice, he said, “Let me change into your nightclothes first…”

Jun Ye looked at him, still silent.

After a while, seeing that the Sentinel had nothing more to say, Jun Ye brushed off his hand, which was not exerting any force, and continued unbuttoning. A chill spread across Xiu Si’s chest as he felt his body begin to heat up internally.

“I can’t endure the weakness of the guide’s body,” “I’ve already lied twice and can’t ask for more,”…

Various thoughts flashed through Xiu Si’s mind, but he only suppressed his breath and the foolish desires in his heart, darkly watching the guide slowly undress him.

As the guide’s knee pushed against his legs, Xiu Si cooperated in spreading himself open.

Jun Ye glanced at Xiu Si, who had already closed his eyes, his habitual tense expression as if he were undergoing some sort of punishment.

But this was just the beginning.

Jun Ye opened the bedside drawer and quickly found a new vial of medication in its usual place.

Xiu Si didn’t move throughout, not even lifting an eyelid, seeming to not care at all about what Jun Ye was taking. Jun Ye’s hand subconsciously hovered over the drawer, making various props of different materials collide with each other.

When he saw the Sentinel’s sturdy eyelashes gently quiver, Jun Ye retreated again, holding only the vial of medication in his hand.

Jun Ye took Xiu Si’s hand.

Xiu Si, both nervous and forcing himself to relax, had his fingers in a stiff, curled-up state.

Jun Ye gently pushed the medication between Xiu Si’s curled fingers and palm, causing Xiu Si’s hand to freeze completely.

Jun Ye watched as Xiu Si’s body stiffened instantly, as if he were holding a stick of dynamite. Bending down, Jun Ye tenderly wiped away a small bead of sweat that had formed on Xiu Si’s nose, coaxing, “I’m a bit tired. Can you take over?”

Xiu Si trembled as he opened his eyes, his gaze slightly avoiding Jun Ye’s, and his throat moved, the rare trace of sanity preventing him from speaking the words he had agreed to.

As time passed by second by second, Jun Ye’s once softened face gradually turned cold and hard again.

Only a fool would still hold hope for this guy who would retaliate if his advances were rejected.

Jun Ye released the Sentinel’s hand, grabbed the vial of medication, twisted it open fiercely, and poured it all onto his hand, stabbing it in forcefully.

“Ah!” Xiu Si gritted his teeth, his eye sockets instantly turning red, his eyes wide open, staring at the warm light on the ceiling.

Beads of sweat emerged one by one, occasionally sliding along his face from the corner of his brow to his eye corner, then smoothly falling into the pillow, leaving a trail of tears in the corner of his eye, as if he had been made to cry.

Jun Ye, who was busily working, temporarily missed this atmosphere.

Xiu Si struggled to adjust his breathing, repeatedly telling himself in his mind: it’s just fingers, it’s okay.

It’s okay…

But it was too fast, too intense…

The initial pain passed, leaving only a surge of pleasure like waves.

In a daze, Xiu Si felt his chest cool again, something soft and cool crawling over him, a very familiar feeling.

The most vulnerable spot was covered, and the even more familiar twisting and turning. Xiu Si shivered from the cold, suddenly remembering that he wasn’t wearing a coat now, let alone a pocket for the guide’s quantum beast to play with.

At the same time, Xiu Si felt the guide’s fingers stop moving, not leaving, just still.

Xiu Si’s gaze gradually lowered, and soon he saw the pink sea rabbit standing tall on his chest, with over a dozen small black dots on it, looking like a cream strawberry that the guides loved so much, making people want to take a bite.

The sea rabbit seemed to sense being watched, and its two small black antennae on its head moved happily. It lowered its head and tapped the “ground” beneath it.

Kissed by the guide’s quantum beast…

Xiu Si’s head was spinning, subconsciously looking towards the guide, only to see the guide’s eyes dark and his face abnormally flushed.

Xiu Si licked his lips, wanting to say something, like whether he could remove the quantum beast, but the guide’s calm fingers suddenly moved, like a storm, striking him so hard that his ship, just setting sail into the deep sea, was on the verge of capsizing.

Somewhere along the line, rationality was crushed by the guide’s fingers, and Xiu Si slowly climbed onto Jun Ye, along with the quantum beast clinging to him.

…….

………….

The clouds cleared after the rain.

Xiu Si looked at the flushed guide beside him, recalling how he had been bitten by the guide and the quantum beast together, and how he had squatted on the guide with the quantum beast, wishing he could open a time crack and go back to slap his shameless self to death.

Having eaten and drunk his fill, Jun Ye was feeling quite laid-back. He turned Xiu Si’s head and gave him a deeply affectionate kiss before slumping back, casually petting a certain soft quantum beast as he did so.

Just now, he had experienced what the Empress called “deep communication and resonance.”

But now that the resonance had ended, without the feeling of turning into a small creature clinging to Xiu Si, this sea rabbit could roll away.

After the guide’s kiss, Xiu Si lay dazed for a while, until the guide beside him slapped his cheeks several times, snapping him back to reality.

Seeing the guide sitting up, baring his body covered in marks, Xiu Si averted his eyes, not knowing where to look out of embarrassment.

He didn’t actually crave clinging to the guide endlessly; it’s just that the guide’s skin was too delicate, leaving pink marks with even the slightest touch. According to past experience, these marks would never disappear in a day.

Each mark was a reminder of his wrongdoing, and Xiu Si’s eyes darkened slightly as he wondered if he was incapable of learning from his mistakes, repeatedly succumbing to the passion of joining with the guide…

Seeing Xiu Si not looking at him, Jun Ye scanned his own body and understood instantly. He raised an eyebrow and asked, “After all this, are you still planning to follow the path of abstinence for the rest of your life?”

As he spoke, he remembered Xiu Si’s behavior just now and chuckled to himself, “If you want to embrace abstinence, that’s fine too1He means if he’s the only one not initiating naughty things, because Jun Ye himself doesn’t mind being the one to “attack” him.” It would be a unique flavor.

At these words, Xiu Si felt his heart constrict, as if being gnawed at by countless tiny insects, feeling almost suffocated.

Wasn’t this what he had hoped for? Then why did it feel so…

Xiu Si looked at the guide beside him, feeling distressed and confused.

—In the future… are we really, truly not going to join anymore?

The next day, Xiu Si watched as the guide took out a familiar vial of medication from that magical drawer, feeling even more bewildered.

So much so that when he sat on Jun Ye’s lap again, still dazed, Xiu Si couldn’t help but wonder if this was different from what they had agreed upon.

So Jun Ye and his lil rabbit only get along during times like these… lol~

Anyways, this arc is done already T_T just like the mermaid one, it’s def short! I’m a bit surprised but oh well that was a cute ride! Next one is def longer (I think it was around 28 chapters?) so we’ll see how that gets going!
