Chapter 86 - 86 The Evening Of The Party

"We should find my granddaughter... this is the only way I can atone to my sins to my Nui.... bring Tian home to us, please...."' Murong Jia sobbed, hugging her husband.

Murong yang sighed loudly. "there have been no traces of that child anywhere....."'

"No no.. Shao saw her yesterday. Here.." With her trembling hands she picked up her phone and showed her husband the photo of a young girl in casual white t-shirt and baggy pants. "This is our grandchild I'm sure...."

"Honey....that girl is not our grandchild. It's not," Murong yang gently held her back, but his wife fought out of his hold.

"She is our granddaughter!! How can you say that!.."

Suddenly her hysteric facial expressions changed to calm one.

"I have so many things I prepared for my granddaughter. She really likes warm milk... I asked the maid to make some. I'll set the table for dinner. Can you go fetch my dear Tian Ai" she cheerfully hugged him. Her tears still were dripping down her cheeks, but her mood changed drastically.

"We will... we will..." Murong yang hugged her softly, but his eyes remained steel cold.

In the corner of the room, Murong Shao saw all this with a long sigh. 'I need to find her soon... to cure my grandmother...'

Right after his aunt Murong Nui eloped with her husband, things have been rough around the house. His grandma was devastated about this news and overnight she got sick...

A few years passed, and his grandmother's health still didn't improve. Because of the deep guilt she held for her grandchild, she completely lost sanity. Most nights she hysterically called out to her. She even cried and prepared food for her. Only thing she ever speaks about is her granddaughter Tian ai...

For a while, his grandpa handled it well, but he got fed up.

After a few years, he decided to search for her. But because of his earlier mistake of erasing her birth certificate, they could not find anything about her.

She completely vanished.

His grandmother's state became worse. She had to be sedated most of the days.

Some days she her mind was clear. Just like yesterday... but some days...

He closed the door after him softly and walked to his car. His secretary waited for him and opened the door.

"Did you find anything?"

"Yes... and no... we were only able to track her for a while. She easily slipped away,"

"Incompetent," Shao whispered, closing the door. "Find out where she is staying. I need to set up a meeting with this girl by tonight,"

"But sir... today it's your birthday..."

"I don't care. Just do as you are asked to."

Right after the car left the garage, he got a message from his grandpa. "Tonight, all my friends as well as your close business partners will attend. Don't be silly and miss it,"

He coolly glanced at it. 'Does my grandpa even care about finding aunt Nui's daughter?....'

Somehow his grandpa's attitude was very lax.. he did not seem to care about her at all. Not one bit.

It bothered him a lot.

But he brushed it aside to concentrate on the issue at hand. He glanced at the three photos on his lap. The girl in the photo was frowning slightly, glancing at her phone. 'How much misery did you experience in this life? It's all my family's fault. I will rectify it,'

"I need to find her before she disappears."

*****

Zou Yue sat up straight, glancing out at the evening sun.

Today was the day...

'It was the day to get information about Tian Ai, no it was the day to torture the Murong,'

'It's not about revenge, Yue.. Don't get too ahead of yourself,'

But thinking back to all the bad things they have done to his sister, his rage went over the top.

'Fine, I am going to make a mess out of this birthday party. Just you wait you old snake Murong. I am going to make you into a media spectacle,'

Zou Yue swiftly changed into the beautiful slip dress. It was wine red and came right above his knees. The dress fit him like a glove, hugging his waist and his slender figure. But the top, was completely rouched. This hid his identity as a man very easily.

He walked to the mirror and started applying his makeup.

Previously in Gucci, he had brought all the makeup necessities but.. he did not want to overdo it.

His sin was flawless and did not need foundation so he hid his dark under eye bag with a small dab of foundation.

As for his eyes, he simply went with a smoky finish.

The innocent pink lipstick toed the look together, giving a sweet and innocent vibe.

Zou Yue glanced at the mirror with a wide smile. He cleared his throat and spoke in a low tone. "This will work..."

The low tremble of his voice gave him an ambiguous feeling. Just like he was whispering to a lover.

At last he glanced at the one thing he feared the most. The beautiful red heals.

"Do I really have to wear that....."

He really contemplated it. But without this six inch heals the look looked incomplete. The model in him was screaming for him to wear it.

Zou Yue simply slid his jade like feet inside. The dark red of it contrasted drastically with his pale milky feet. It felt so sensual somehow.

"I understand why people like foot now..." he mumbled, glancing at it with a satisfactory smile.

"That's it... my time has come to shine,"

He did not style his long hair. Rather, he let it flow behind him, fluttering even in the smallest gust of wind.

Zou Yue wore his coat, picked up the invite and left the room. 'Today's plan is the one to get info about Tian Ai two make a spectacle of the party. Ruin any kind of reputation that the Murong's hold.'

A car was waiting for him right at the entrance of the hotel. It was a white BMW s5.

He frowned slightly as the door opened and a young foreign man walked out. "I am your chaperone, ma'am,"

"I never asked for one," Zou Yue said in a low tone and walked away.

Suddenly, the blond man ran upfront and stood in his way. "Sorry, I think I made the wrong impression. I am Hary and I was sent by mister Cai Zheng to be your chaperone," he smiled dazzlingly.

Zou Yue frowned even more. "I never asked for one," he swiftly called him. "Mister Cai, did you send a car and a young man to guide me..."

"Yes, I did. Wen told me to," he said casually.

He sighed. "I see... thank you. I'll call uncle Wen and let him know that I do not need of this service.

"It's for your safety!" he worriedly. "Kid, you don't know what that old Murong is capable of. I don't want you to walk into a trap. Take the man. He has worked as a bodyguard for a very long time. He can keep you safe,"

Zou Yue glanced at the young man up and down. He looked burly, but his stance was not that steady. He kept hopping as he stood in front of him. "You are a boxer, right?"

"Yeah! How did you know?" the young man enthusiastically said.

"I can see.. wait right here," Yue swiftly got into the elevator back to his room.

If his uncle feared for his safety to this extent, it might be a huge risk to go there unprepared. He took out the small, foldable crossbow and tied it to his thigh with a ribbon. As for the arrows, he decided to take only two out of the twenty he brought.

He ran back down in his six-inch heels. "Let's go,"

The young man looked at him with clear interest. "Say, how do you know the Murong family. I heard from Cai that you are cross with them,"

Zou Yue glanced at him with a dangerous smile. "We are cross. They did something unimaginably cruel and I am gong to torture them for it,"

The young man whistled. "Wow, seeking revenge? That sounds sweet." He glanced at him up and down. "I would not want to offend this young lady."

"Didn't uncle Cai tell you?"

"Tell me what?" he confusedly peered at him.

"I'm a guy."

The young man blinked. He glanced at him once again with his eyes wide open. "Don't lie to me. You are not a guy,"

"I am." Zou Yue just threw him a glance.

The young man looked very stunned by his new discovery. "Prove it to me. I won't believe that you are a dude until you prove it,"

"I have no obligation to prove it to you. if you think I'm a girl, then that's your business. Anyway I want you to call me as Tian Ai when you see me got it?"

"Got it," the man smiled with his teeth all on display.

"Don't smile too much. And don't talk to anyone much. We only have one goal in mind. To capture that old snake. Make a racket make a rumour anything that can bring down that impeccable reputation he built for so long." Yue calmly whispered.

His plan was only to talk to him. But if things went out of hand or if his anger got the best of him, he might as well do the unthinkable.

"Roger that!" the young man suddenly glanced at him questionably. "You really are not planning to kill him right"

"I am.. but I can change my mind according to the way they behave," Zou Yue whispered caressing the arrow's tied to his thighs.

The world is going to end in about thirty days anyway. He can easily hide from the police if he had to with uncle wen's help.

Zou Yue assembled his crossbow and checked if it was comfortable to use. It was just wide as a small iPad. It was easy to fold it and store it and the arrow it comes with is very strong and sharp. This was one of the best buys in his apocalyptic haul.

A loud gulping sound was heard in the car.

Without even looking, Zou Yue knew who that was. 'Is it okay to take this young kid with me... maybe I should just ditch him by the road and carry on with my plan,'
