Jian Wuqing immediately moved when she saw Ling Xin take out a returning jade, and she immediately snatched it away. "I will not let you leave this place."
'Shit! Why should that woman meddle in our affairs?' Ling Xin muttered in his heart and took out his weapon. 'Heh! Although his cultivation is already at the 1st Stage Heaven Origin Realm, it's still below mine, so I don't need to be afraid to face her.'

Ding Yuan then sent a voice transmission informing him of their battle, and Ling Xiao immediately headed toward the Vermilion Imperial Sect at full speed. 'Fortunately, he's currently in the capital, so he should be here soon, but I'm unsure if I can make it in time.'
Duan Yong nodded in agreement with him, especially since Ling Xin was getting pushed back by Ling Chen's successive attacks; he then glanced at Jian Wuqing and wondered in his heart. 'Who exactly is that woman? How could she make that little girl so proficient in swordsmanship.'
On the other hand, Guo Lan kept looking at Ling Xin with a happy smile, especially after she saw his body was covered in numerous sword wounds from Ling Chen's attack. 'Die, you bastard!'
Although Ling Chen's attacks appeared to be slow and weak, in reality, they were extremely fast and powerful, and she had the upper hand thanks to her energy swords, which made Ling Xin overwhelmed to parry them.
For quite some time, the sounds of swords clashing against each other continued to be heard within the room, and much of the furniture had been shattered from their fight, making Ding Yuan smile bitterly, but he could do nothing to stop them.

At first, Ling Chen also wanted to kill Ling Xiao and the entire Ling Family, but she always remembered Xia Tian's words, kill those who deserve to be killed, and spare those who deserve to be forgiven. After all, her grandfather and the others didn't do anything terrible to her and her mother other than exile them, so she decided to spare them.
Ling Xiao froze upon hearing Ling Chen's words, and his expression became extremely complicated. "Chen'er-"
"Stop it! You better not piss me off!" Ling Chen once again interrupted her grandfather as she slowly approached Ling Xin. "Don't think I can't kill you even if he comes here."
"Father! Save me!" Ling Xin begged his father as he continued to walk backward, but an invisible wall suddenly stopped him in his tracks, and that was Jian Wuqing's doing, for she didn't want Ling Xiao to interfere in their battle.
Ling Xin then turned around and pounded on the invisible wall, causing Ling Xiao and the others to feel confused by his actions. "Father! Please help me!"
Ling Xiao stretched out his hand, touched the invisible wall, and used his energy to dispel it. But alas, he was only a mortal, and Jian Wuqing was immortal, so he certainly couldn't destroy it.
Xia Ling shook his head and turned to Jian Wuqing, but she only nodded at him. 'Sigh, the outcome is already decided, and Ling Xin won't survive.'
As Ling Chen arrived behind her uncle, she immediately thrust her sword into his back but deliberately missed his vitals. However, Ling Xin screamed in pain as soon as she crippled his spiritual roots.
"No!" Ling Xin fell to the floor, and he let out a heartbreaking scream.
Ling Xiao's face turned deathly pale as he felt Ling Xin's cultivation fading rapidly, for he realized his granddaughter's actions towards her uncle. 'Damn it! Why did everything have to turn out like this?' "Chen'er, why do you have to do this?"
"Do you still need to ask that?" Ling Chen asked back as she pulled her sword out of Ling Xin's body. "Back then, he violated me by force, but you blamed me instead and exiled me and my mother. Since then, I have sworn to kill him, but I will take him to my mother's grave first."
After she said that, Ling Chen grabbed her uncle's hair and turned to Jian Wuqing. "Master, let's leave in this place right now."
Jian Wuqing immediately moved to Ling Chen's side, grabbed her shoulder, and the three of them instantly disappeared from the scene, and those people didn't have a chance to react.
Ling Xiao instantly fell to the floor and could not speak for a long time, and his expression was filled with deep regret.
Ding Yuan and Duan Yong could only sympathize with seeing Ling Xiao like that, but Guo Lan was pleased about it, especially after Ling Xin violated her in the Fortress.

However, Ling Chen looked at him coldly. "Spare you? Every action must have a consequence, and this is the consequence that you must bear."
After she said that, Ling Chen swung her sword swiftly, and Ling Xin's head instantly separated from his body. She then kowtowed in front of her mother's grave a few times and said. "Mom, you can rest in peace there, and you don't have to think about me, for I have found my way of happiness."
