“What’s wrong, owner punk?” Hamchi asked.
“Can’t you see those?” Siegfried asked while pointing at the embers floating above the corpses.
“Are you talking about the corpses?”
“No, not that. That thing floating on top of the corpses.”
“Kyu?” Hamchi tilted his head in confusion and rubbed his eyes a few times, and then he said, “Hey, owner punk.”
“Do you see it now?”
“I think you have been playing with your hands a bit too much these days and that’s why you’re seeing things now…”
“What are you talking about??”
“I think you haven’t been sleeping and have been mastur—”
“No,” Siegfried cut him off. He glared at the hamster and asked once more, “You really can’t see them? There are embers floating out of the corpses!”
“Don’t forget to wash your hands before going to bed.”

“What the hell are you even talking about? What embers?”
It seemed that Hamchi really couldn’t see the embers Siegfried was seeing.
‘What’s going on? Am I really seeing things?’ Siegfried started doubting his own eyes.
However, he could still see the embers no matter how many times he opened and closed his eyes, and there was one ember for each NPC lying dead on the ground.
“Hiyaaaaaah!”
A knight suddenly popped out of nowhere and tried to strike Siegfried down.

“Wait!” Siegfried shouted. He suppressed his own survival instinct, which was screaming at him to let go of the magic sword and aimed the magic sword at the NPCs lying on the ground. Afterward, he activated Soul Harvest.

The souls floating on top of the corpses gathered and spun like a vortex before the magic sword sucked them at once.

“Ha! So you are telling me to move my forces from the Dimensional Rift and attack the rear of the monster wave?”
They went through hoops to lure the monster wave over to the Proatine Kingdom, so why would they accept such a ridiculous request? They were basically playing ‘hot potato’ at this point, but the Proatine King was asking them to come and get the hot potato for themselves.

Siegfried grumbled, seemingly annoyed.

Somebody suddenly slapped King Fitzgerald’s face.
— Ah… You’re too damn noisy. Shut up, will you? What, are we in your house or something?
— I-I apologize for my insolence…
— Just go and sit in the corner if you’re done.

King Fitzgerald went to the corner and sat down.
Then, the culprit who slapped the face of the Renoma Kingdom monarch appeared and asked General Hydern.

— Your kingdom will benefit if you do as I say. Do you understand?
“D-Did you abduct his Majesty?”
— Can’t you tell after seeing all that…?
Siegfried pointed at King Fitzgerald, who was crying on the floor.
