However, these guys suddenly appeared and tried to snatch the herb. He fought back and was winning, but then more disciples from the red Lotus sect arrived. Now, they were trying to make a deal, saying they would spare his life if he handed over the herb. He knew that if he gave it to them, they would kill him anyway.
