Chapter 882: Moon Hare Art: Lunar’s Supremacy

Chapter 882: Moon Hare Art: Lunar’s Supremacy

The Seraphim Cultivator’s had his throat choked by his own words. His eyes trembled as he saw the fissure that spans over a thousand kilometers away. His hands tremored as his heart crashed against his ribs furiously. His thoughts jumbled over the fact that he had to dodge an incoming attack that he couldn’t see at all.

( What was that?! I can’t see it coming at all, was that really a sword intent? No, that’s impossible! Even the mastery of the way of the sword won’t be able to produce such a godlike slice! Wait a minute, is this his friend? The very same person that kept attacking me from a distance, from outsi..de… outside?! How can I overlook this? I’m in a domain, that guy is trying to break through from the start!! And now he is inside! He forced himself into my domain! ) thought the Seraphim Cultivator before he stood up with gritted teeth.

“You don’t look so good,” commented Lyon with a smile, “What’s wrong, did that surprise you?”

“What’s wrong with this trash, I’ve never heard of any of this before! I should have known them before they raised up to such a level! However, what the heck is wrong with their cultivation?! They are so low but I can’t even overwhelm them!” muttered the Seraphim Cultivator before he darted his glance toward Lyon with a glare.

“Woah, I can almost hear your blood rising from here,” Lyon laughed before his eyes turned sharp. “I was leaving you for your own good, but you seem to not understand the subtle hint that I gave you. I didn’t run away from you, I’m here on a personal matter, and that’s more important than your wings. I was trying not to spill blood on the day I met her, but you and those beasts seem to have the same brain frequencies, and now she is her, my wife, Selena.”

“Your wife?”

“You finally listened, however, from what I’ve heard so far, she is quite unreasonable, perhaps the most out of the three,” said Lyon before a silk-like presence appeared right by him.

“Darling.”

Lyon’s ears perked up as he heard that pleasant voice string inside his ear canal. Out of all the women he had encountered he found one and only one that would address him that way. The woman that could topple kingdoms with her mare beauty. Those blue-ocean-like eyes and those squirming smiles whenever she looked at him.

“Sorry, I was outside when you arrived, hehe. We finally get to me—Huh?!”

Her black hair waved like fine-tuned silk but her brims shited to blight as her pupils shrunk. Her smiles vanished and her brows furrowed like a sword hacked down. The veins in her temples bulged as her jaw tightened.

“Hm?” Lyon frowned, “Selena…?

“Darling, you’re wounded,” said Selena. “Who did it?”

“Oh, this? This is nothing but a scratch wound, never mind it,” Lyon laughed despite the obvious little grith every time his stomach contracted.

Selena touched the wound with her bare palm.

“Tch!” Lyon immediately reacted.

“Somebody dares to wound my son to this extent? Unforgivable!”

A dignified voice of an empress echoed throughout the whole domain as Selena’s heart thumped. Her blue eyes corrupted into hazelnut brown before her back glowed a shimmering light.

“Mother…” Lyon explicitly said out of his consciousness.

“Hohoho, she is furious,” Bapho said as he revealed himself perching on Lyon’s shoulder.

“Shh!” Shen and Sun immediately covered Bapho’s mouth before making all three of them translucent.

Selena turned her head before finding the Seraph Cultivator had his brows furrowed.

( What tremendous presence! Who is she? ) thought the Seraphim Cultivator as he looked over her bare stance. ( She didn’t make any stance, even when I’m just a few steps away from her. Judging from her previous attempts, and that fissure, she is baiting me. You’re no ordinary swordswoman, perhaps the best in the Mortal World can offer. ).

“No wonder you can live in this place where others cannot,” said the Seraphim Cultivator. “I haven’t seen such master in the way of the sword, especially by mortals. No beasts will be able to contend against you, at least not the beasts living here. It is all the more reason to vanquish both of you right now. For Paradise!”

His wings unfurled as his domain thickened. His eyes gleamed as he brandished his sword in an X form before making a stance. “I cannot let you both live.”

“You think that you can provide permission, you whose duty is to guard the largest seal?” Selena frowned.

The Seraphim Cultivator didn’t utter a word. “I was tasked by the great all-father, you wouldn’t understand such honor.”

( All-father? ) Lyon frowned.

“All-father? Heh,” Selena smirked before she vanished from his sight.

“?!” The Seraphim Cultivator immediately leaped backward before he saw over a thousand slits of the space right in front.

( She is breathlessly fast! ) thought the seraph before he was forced to take a further distance away. ( However, quick feet’s greatest weakness is always! ).

“Distance!…?!” the seraph exclaimed before finding her sword slashed diagonally against his chest.

“Gah!” He roared before letting out a mana burst and forcefully pushing Selena away.

The two were standing against each other with one of them panting whilst clutching the cut wound that was similar to what was inflicted against Lyon.

Selena brandished her plain sword before the blood spilled against the ground of the ruined city.

“An eye for an eye,” said Selena.

( That’s amazing, damn she is so cool ) Lyon snorted a smile that he couldn’t help.

“That’s impossible! How can you keep up with me!” shouted the Seraph. “You’re just a measly Sovereign God Cultivator!”

“Sovereign God? So that’s the next realm? Man, how many realms are there?” Lyon sighed.

“You’re just a Six-Winged Seraph, you think you can keep up with me? Me with mother-in-law’s blessing?”

“Only the White Assassin can match my speed,” a brown hare appeared on Selena’s shoulder.

“Mother…” Lyon muttered seeing the cute hare.

“Now, go, crush the person that hurt my child.”

“With pleasure,” Selena showed her glorified plain blade.

“You cocky bastard!” The Seraphim Cultivator shouted before he took the first step forward.

“Cloud Art: High Heaven!” shouted the seraph as he slashed the empty space in front of him.

A rain of swords descended down from the blue sky toward Selena.

“Look out!” shouted Lyon before his brows raised as he noticed her wife had already gone from his sight.

It was soft soundless touch against the ground before Selena was brandishing her sword at the Seraphim Cultivator’s neck.

“Ngh?!” The Seraph had his pupils shrunk before turning his neck and jumping away simultaneously. The tip of the sword managed to slightly slit his throat as a little splurt made his blood smooched the air. The gale immediately followed as his hair and cloaks furthered. Bits of tiny slashes grazed his bare face. All of that from one slash alone.

He made yet another distance by jumping backward. His face was ransacked as if he had been thrown inside a bush full of thorns. “What dark art did you use, mortal.”

“Dark art? You haven’t seen dark yet,” said Selena.

“You!!” The Seraphim Cultivator gritted his teeth. The wound on his face and the wound across his body was nothing against the wound of his pride. He was at a higher level than the two of them yet he couldn’t even win against one of them, on the contrary, he was forced to take step back after step back, an utter humiliation for Paradise’s cultivator.

His killing intent rose before spreading all over his domain, yet it didn’t even flinch the two of them.

( With that kind of speed, I can’t use magic at all, then I will use my ultimate art! The continent might feel a great tremor and might alerted those trash in Myriad Devils, but so be it! ) thought the Seraphim Cultivator. “As long as both of you die, then I did my job! Yes, yes, that’s right, as long as you die nobody would know what happened… hehe. Hahaha!”

“He’s broken,” said Lyon with a snort.

Selena stood straight as if inviting the Seraphim Cultivator to attack her.

“Tch! You bitch! You will die! You and your husband!” The Seraphim Cultivator shouted.

“Moon Hare Art,” muttered Selena before a loud broken glass was heard.

The Seraphim Cultivator’s nose was locked as his eyes trembled. “My domain… it broke… IMPOSSIBLE!” he roared before he leaped forward. “Cloud Art: Judgement—!”

Selena moved quicker than the shadow before hitting his side and made him propelled slightly into the air. Before gravity took him into the embrace of the earth, Selena moved diagonally and hit his sides again. She perched in the air before striking the man diagonally once more. The man was spinning as he was he slowly ascended higher in the sky with each lob.

It was until they pierced through the clouds above that Luna took a higher jump and placed herself directly above the Seraphim Cultivator which was gargling with blood.

“Lunar’s Supremacy.”

“?!” The Seraph had his eyes shrunk before both of Selena’s feet dropped down against his chest as they shot down to the ground like a meteor.

The ground broke open at the moment of impact. Lyon immediately covered his eyes with his arms before his figure was blown away entirely. “Woah! Wait!!” and gone from the scene.

“Hm?” Cecile frowned before she smirked. The shockwave arrived and fluttered the entire party.

The whole continent shook and sent a wave of panic inside Myriad Devils.

“What the, what was that?! Is it another one of those?! Are we under attack again?” uttered one adventurer.

“Please don’t, Lyon is not here!” said another.

The guild leaders were already present but they too frowned at the unknown.

“I hope it’s not something bad, I’m still healing here,” White Crow added.

“That’s the first ingredient in the recipe of something bad,” added Moris before he sighed.

“I don’t see Farash anywhere,” Sakya frowned.

“Where could she have gone at this point in time,” said Baiyun with a frown.

When the dust settled Selena was found standing with both feet close to each other right on top of the Seraphim Cultivator’s chest, right at the center of a huge crater of what once a ruined city.
