Chapter 210 First Day 2

Getting out of the house-looking dormitory, a young man with brown hair and hazel eyes could be seen.

Well, saying could be seen would be a bit wrong since that young man was moving at a fast rate.

Considering the way he moved, it was blatantly obvious that he was a person that was of a higher strength spectrum.

/SWOOSH/

Passing a group of young people that were walking while talking amongst themselves, he left a wind behind him that lifted the skirt of the girl.

"Kya!"

Of course, the girl was fast to cover her thighs, though two young boys had a feast to their eyes.

"What?"

"Who was that?"

As the group was left dumbfounded, the young boy didn't stop in his tracks and went on further.

However, that young man soon slowed himself down as he approached a secluded place devoid of any people.

As he slowed down, the features of his face and body became more and more blatant.

A face that could neither be considered good nor bad.

A type of face that could be forgotten anywhere.

"This skill is for sure useful. Thanks to me ranking up, I can even hide my signature mana trace if I don't use it, though I can only show myself a bit weaker."

The young man mumbled to himself as he reentered the road that was filled with a bunch of other students.

Though, no one paid attention to him.

And following their tracks, the young man soon reached a building that was looking ethereal.

"It seems the library is a lot more crowded than yesterday. I guess students are curious now, huh?"

He mumbled, entering the building he named the library.

And found his way to the entrance, then he scanned his bracelet to the magical-looking device in front of the library.

"Student Callius. Entry permitted."

After hearing the voice inside his head, the young man named Callius entered the library.

/FLINCH/

Though, he flinched and stopped for a second and turned his head.

Only to see a woman looking at him.

Just like him, from the outside, that woman was someone that could be easily forgotten.

However, the moment Callius gazed at her, he knew his disguise had already been seen through.

"It is not like I wanted to hide it from you."

As he mumbled, he turned his head forward again and entered the building.

While leaving a smile on the face of the woman.

After he entered the library, a young girl-looking spirit with blue skin approached him.

"What are you looking at, Student Callius."

Of course, even though Callius was using disguise, the way the spirit responded and identified him was related to his bracelet.

"I will personally look at the books."

"I see. Then, you will be able to see the restricted sign as you delve deeper into the library. Please, refrain from violating the rules, and don't try to brute force your way there."

/NOD/

As he nodded for the response, the spirit disappeared with a puff sound.

Just like that, as he said, Callius started looking at the books related to magic.

Though this time, his focus was on the magic of a specific type.

'Telekinesis. It is time to look for an improvement in your type.'

He thought as he reached a region for the books related to telekinesis magic and started looking for the books he wanted….

*******

As Callius was looking at the books inside the library with his [Disguise] on, there was a girl that was talking with other students inside a café.

"Aliya, when did you meet him?"

A young girl was sipping her coffee while looking at the girl that was subjected to her questions with shiny eyes.

"Who?"

Aliya responded as she, too, sipped from her coffee.

To explain where she was, it was a simple café inside the academy.

Of course, as a person who had a different occupation from Callius, she had her own methods to be useful.

Just like making connections and using those to her advantage.

This was the reason why she was there since the first weeks of the classes were where the groups were formed.

Knowing that she immediately socialized herself while reaching out the coffee with other girls in her class.

"Who? Of course, Callius. Who else can it be?"

As the girl said while her face approached Aliya's, the others in the group also nodded their heads.

"I didn't think you would know him."

"Yeah…. I mean, he kind of looks….. What is the word?"

"Unapproachable?"

"Yeah…. He kind of gives that vibe."

"Certainly…. He looks serious and really oppressive. I can't even make eye contact with him for a second."

"He looks scary…."

"Well, you should have seen him in the exam then…. He was like a maniac at that time, burning everyone without even stopping any second."

"So, you were on the same island as him."

"Yeah."

"I see…. It was sad for you then….."

"It was…."

The girls that were inside the group had already lost track of the question that was asked to Aliya, which she didn't mind at all.

"But, let's not diverge from the topic. I am really curious, you know."

However, the girl that first asked the question had already made her mind to get her answer.

Well, when it came to making gossip, no one could beat a teenage girl after all…. Maybe an old lady, but that is not the point here.

"Yeah, yeah…."

As the others again focused on Aliya, she released a long sigh.

"Okay…. But, it is nothing important, either."

"Yeah, yeah…. Just tell us…."

"Well, to begin with, you may not know this one, but our company was not always that big. At first, we were just a normal merchant that was traveling around the world and selling things….."

Just like that, Aliya started counting about how she met Callius, although the story she had told was a lot different from reality.

In this one, Callius was not a swordsman but a fire mage that had just started his career as an adventurer, and she was not someone that was close to him, but actually, their relationship was something professional, like some business partners.

She even went to the length of saying Callius was an annoying prick who thought he was way above everyone and how she hated that about him….

As she started counting the iterated story that was decided by Callius, the people that were listening to her words from shadows also got the wrong idea, making her in a much more safe position for now...

Sorry, the computer somehow didn't copy the second chapter but rather copied the first one, and while I was pasting it, I didn't pay any attention. Since I just got out of another exam...

However, the chapter is now fixed, you can read it now. I hope you enjoyed the chapters.
