Chapter 155: Overprotective men

The doctor who previously stopped Mo Yuhan quickly adjusted his glasses "Who? A celebrity? I'm not like you who reads news and magazines all the time. I do experiments and treat patients to fulfill my duty as a doctor."

The third doctor smirked "Then you should start reading some. He is a person even President Tang won't want to make enemies with."

"Who exactly is he?"

"He is President Mo as in, Mo Yuhan, the Crown Prince of Mo Family and the CEO of Mo Empires."

"It's not a big dea...Ahhh... Who did you say he was?" The man suddenly realized the fact that you will never know when death is standing in front of you.

...

Grandpa Tang has already composed himself as he sat on his chair while looking at Tang Meili's letter. Suddenly, the door was pushed open as it collided back with the wall with a loud 'bang', almost giving the old man a huge fright in the process.

He quickly patted his chest and glared at the man who entered his study in such a frightening way "What? Are you here to avenge your wife? Let me tell you then, she was in the wrong. Even if I was impulsive, she's not much better. What kind of daughter speaks so badly about her mother? She..."

"Do you think that just because we got married recently, I don't know what kind of person is she? I have known her since she was 12 years old," Mo Yuhan looked out of the window, the darkness outside was too vast to figure anything out, just like his mood at that moment.

Grandpa Tang was taken aback. He never had any idea about this. After his daughter and wife passed away, he had erased every data about Tang Li and sent her abroad for further studies. He never investigated anything about her friends at all, so he was completely unaware of it.

As if not noticing his astonishment, Mo Yuhan continued "Back then, she used to smile, laugh, and follow me everywhere. She used to talk so much that it even annoyed me in the beginning, she was mischievous and overall a happy kid. What has she gone through all these years to become a person like this? She changed herself so much, but why? Just because she never complained, do you think she did not suffer over the years?"

Though he knew it was the truth, somewhere his pride and ego didn't let him accept it. The old man clenched his fists under the table "You dote on her too much..."

"You can blindly spoil your daughter, yet I can't dote on my wife? Despite all the mistakes she made, you simply handed over the company to her. It was thirteen years later that you discovered what was transpiring inside, and that too, by chance." Mo Yuhan narrowed his eyes.

"But she was wr..."

The man simply cut him off "I don't know about anything else, but as much as I know my wife, her sufferings and struggles over the year have made her despise her mother. The woman who never took responsibility for her kids. Why did Tang Yichen and Tang Li have to pay for her mistakes?"

Just because they couldn't get any important lead doesn't mean that Mo Yuhan didn't find such random pieces of information.

According to the investigation results, after Tang Meili came back to Tang's Mansion with both her kids, after naming them, she never looked back to see if they are dead or alive. If not for the grandparents, the Tang siblings would never have a happy childhood with such a mother.

"You... You are supporting her blindly. I'm your mentor, you're being unfilial by behaving like this. And don't talk nonsense!'' Grandpa Tang slammed his hand on the desk.

Mo Yuhan chuckled, the sound of it was very similar to that of a devil who crawled out of hell "Heh~ Do you still believe that she was wrong?"

Even Tang Cheng, whose name itself terrifies countless people, was stunned by the man's aura.

"If you do, then let it be. Even if she is wrong, then so be it. For Tang Li, I Mo Yuhan, am willing to commit all the sins, to bear all her burdens, to accept being called unfilial. I will pay any price if it costs me her happiness," His voice was barely above a whisper but the pressure in his words was enough to let anyone know that he was not joking. "You slapped her once, I will take it as if you have done it as a grandfather who raised her. From now on, don't do it again."

Grandpa Tang was startled, yet the man didn't even spare him a glance as he walked out of the study room. As the old man came back to his senses, his eyes glimmered with amusement. The man certainly loved his granddaughter.

Ehh...wait, what the Mo brat said sounded a little familiar.

Suddenly what Tang Yichen had said to him flashed in his mind 'My princess can never be wrong.'

Grandpa Tang heartily laughed. The brother says that his sister is always right whereas the husband says that even if she is wrong, he will back her up as long as it's her.

No wonder Tang Yichen and Mo Yuhan don't see eye to eye on many things. How can they do that when they are so overprotective over Tang Li?

Outside the study, as they looked at Mo Yuhan's retreating back, the three doctors shivered. Even when the man didn't say anything, they could still sense the gloomy clouds above his head.

"Hey, today was scary..."

"So? It marks the unluckiest day of the year. I wonder who did I see first after waking up, it must be super unlucky!"

"Eh...I saw my wife first...."

"Pfft...Hahaha.."
