Looking down at the pistol she had upgraded, Caitlyn broke into a wide, excited smile.
"I did it! I think the upgrade worked!!" Amoura shouted to the excited livestream.
[Woah!! Amazing, amazing!]
[OMG, you want to sell me that pistol, Amoura? I'm just an F Rank Player, I don't have the money to get a more powerful weapon...]

Looking at the large number of Players commenting that they wanted her to upgrade their weapons, Amoura had already started to calculate how much she could charge for her new services. It would have to be a price that would not only be cheaper than if they were going to buy Mana Stones to convert in-game weapons to reality, but also not be so cheap that it wouldn't be worth it to her.
Thinking about shutting down the livestream for the day, Amoura started planning how she could do that and how she could use the money she earned to advance as a Rank E Player.
While Amoura was focusing on that, there were still Streamers who were just playing Residual Devil without thinking about weapon upgrades, as the game was still a lot of fun. Among the people who were livestreaming, the Player who had the most viewers was a player with the nickname "JustBronze".
JustBronze was a Rank E Player who started playing Residual Devil before Chapter 2 was released. Like the other Rank E Players, JB started playing Residual Devil just for fun, thinking the game was very interesting, but the more he played it, the more he felt that the game was unlike anything he had ever experienced.
When he finished Chapter 01 and remembered Elena, who died with Leonardo, her father, in the burning house, JB realized that this game was very similar to real life and different from other games that only trained the Player in combat skills. Residual Devil also gave the Player real life situations that could happen to anyone, situations that you could never predict, but having already experienced something similar could save someone's life by being aware of the dangers and unfazed by the sudden trauma.
JB didn't even do livestreams before, but after a mission he participated in that a monster spat a fireball in the house he and his mates were spending the night, he made a post about it and overnight he won hundreds of followers. Thinking this might be a good opportunity to earn some extra cash, JB used his newfound fame to sign up for a livestream site and started streaming himself playing. As he was already an experienced Rank E Player, the tips he gave to Rank F Players were very good and as time went by his viewers grew more and more.
With the release of Chapter 02, unlike other Rank E streamers who used another save to be able to play the game on normal difficulty and finish it as quickly as possible, JB decided to be different. JB kept playing on the 'Insane' difficulty save he had while trying to finish this Chapter without reading any spoilers on the internet. But Chapter 02 was much more difficult than he imagined; being in 'Insane' mode every battle became several times more complicated than it originally would have been, and not being able to die even once made things even more difficult.
"At least, from these pictures, the daughters of that giant woman are pretty, huh..." JustBronze commented while looking at some pictures on the castle wall.
[Haha, yes, when I saw them appearing in the trailer, even with that scary mouth the one has the first thing I thought was that they are pretty!]

"Haha, you are a bunch of perverts!" JB chuckled as he explored the castle very carefully.
As he was on 'Insane' difficulty, he had to be much more careful not to die than other players, but that had a price: He had to pay much more attention to his surroundings and that wore his mind down a lot while he was playing.
The best way he thought to deal with it was to make jokes while playing, and that was exactly why more and more Players came to his room, to the point that JB became one of the biggest streamers of Residual Devil.
"So you thought we were pretty? I thought you were looking for your daughter Rose, not a new mother for her..." A female voice came from behind JB.
Hearing this voice suddenly, JB was so scared that his heart almost stopped for a second, but seeing cockroaches appear around the room, he raised the pistol and pointed it in the direction the voice came from.
[LMAO, did they hear you praising them, JB?!]

Many of the viewers had already played further than JB currently, but they managed to not give JB spoilers, and if someone did spoiler anything, the room moderator could ban them so that JB would have the real experience of going through each part for the first time.
"Hello?" JB said, a little nervous and shy that one of the monster women had heard him praising them.
"Haha ha!" All three women emerged, surrounded by insects as they laughed.
Looking at how they were approaching him with a smile, JB decided to try his luck and spoke.
"You are all really beautiful..." But unlike how he said it the first time, this time it was possible to see that he was much more scared.
"Do you think we're beautiful? Let me drink your blood then, big boy!" One of the giant woman's daughters approached JB with her beautiful blue eyes.
If it weren't for the bugs flying around them and this woman's mouth all smeared with blood, JB would probably have gladly let it go, but the fear she was causing him was stronger than the hard-on he was feeling.
"I think..." he tried to start answering, but the blonde didn't even give him time to say something and stuck a scythe in his leg.
"Aaaarrrggghhh!" JB yelled as he looked at his leg in disbelief.
While JB was confused, the women started to laugh even louder and turned their body parts into insects as they dragged JB all over the castle.
"Shit!!!" JB screamed in pain as he felt the scythe tearing through the flesh of his leg. Because he was in 'Insane' mode, the pain he felt in the game was far greater than the pain a casual player felt.
"Mom, I brought you some fresh prey." The blonde girl who flirted with JB threw him to the ground hard while talking politely to someone.
Ignoring the pain he was feeling and looking in the direction the girl was speaking, JB saw that there was someone sitting in a chair. The chair looked like a normal size for an ordinary person, but for the woman sitting in that chair, it looked more like a toy.
"How kind, daughters..." The woman sitting in the chair got up and started moving towards JB.
"I'm screwed..." JB grumbled as he looked at the giant woman in front of him with despair.
"Well, Ethan Winters, did you get away from my little brother's stupid games? Let's see if he really is special," the giant woman said with a smile as she raised her hands.
"Yes mom," two of her daughters responded as they approached JB from both sides and picked him up.
With a knife, one of the girls slashed his palm as the giant woman approached and began to suck the blood from his palm. The face the woman was making was very suggestive, especially for JB who was still a virgin. Despite his fear, he was still a little shy as the woman sucked the blood from his hand and looked at him with that expression.
"It's getting kind of dirty," the woman complained after sucking blood from his hand for 10 seconds.
JB even felt a little let down by this, but with the pain he was feeling starting to ease, he got a little better.
"Let's devour his flesh quickly, mother!" one of the girls said excitedly, making JB worried again.
"But I was the one who captured him!" the blonde girl complained indignantly.
"Calm down girls! We have to inform mother Miranda before then," the giant woman interrupted the two, "But afterwards, there will be enough for everyone."
"Lift him!" the woman then ordered her daughters, and the two girls hooked JB's hands into metal hooks. Do not follow grammar check here
"Wait!" JB tried to get the women to stop but they just laughed as they skewered both of his hands in hooks and walked out of the room laughing.
"Stop messing with me..." JustBronze complained while looking at his two hands that were trapped by hooks and held his body hanging at the top of the room.
[Haha, I already felt so much pain at this part playing on easy mode, imagine the pain JB is feeling on Insane mode?]

JB looked at his hands again and saw that the only way out of this place was to pull his own hand out, but wouldn't that make him lose the use of both hands?
'Wait, when a Zombie bit my finger, although I felt a lot of pain at the time, my hand stopped hurting after a while and my finger was even starting to heal, maybe with my hands that will work as well?' JB wondered as he took a deep breath.
Having decided that he was going to do it, JB yanked his hands back as he felt a sharp pain ripping one of his hands in half.
"Arrrrgh!!!" JB screamed in pain as he pulled his hands away and fell to the ground.
Looking at the blood dripping from his hands, JB finally couldn't take it anymore and passed out in the game. This faint was not just a cinematic, but a safety measure that Gabe put in the game to measure how the Player's body was reacting to the gore they were going through, forcing Players to take a break so that it would not cause more problems for them. Of course, this wasn't 100% accurate, but it was a good safety measure he had implemented since the game's gore would get darker and darker with each Chapter that was released.
Looking at the black screen, JB had to take a breath and rest for a while, to the point that he even took off the VR Headset to drink some water and go to the bathroom to relax.
[I knew his security system would be activated!]
