They will come directly to his godhood first. This is because he is their beacon to the afterlife. He will then decide what to do with them. If by chance they are bringing something along with their souls, then that thing, whatever it is, will also come directly to his godhood.
If that thing can withstand the all-burning power of the god fire around his godhood by using the souls of his believers as protection, then that thing can actually touch his godhood.
If that thing can get enough of a grip on his godhood such as at least 51% of its surface area, then that thing can pull his godhood. And finally, if that thing can maintain its strength despite the constant burning of the god fire, then it should be able to pull him to the floor of his divine plane.
It just so happened that these tentacles have an invisible flame capable of burning laws and resisting the god fire. So it was able to pull the god of flames to the ground of his divine kingdom and might be able to do more.
The god of fire didn't think too much about his condition. He contacted his father immediately. "Help me, father. Help me" He screamed over the communication line.
A lot of weird things have been happening and his fear has reached its peak. He can wait to try and see if he can go to his father for help. But things are too urgent for that so he would rather disregard his divine prestige and scream to his father for help like some helpless child.
