Chapter 224 No Longer A Man



After Yuan Chunhua had finished warning Jiang Ming of the consequences if he were to expose her previous behavior, she walked forward to chat with Elder Feiling.

Even though they had established a negotiation with each other, both wanted to converse further to improve their ill-relationship before.

As for Jiang Ming, he got the short end of the stick and was treated like air.

'Tch, if it weren't for me, then you'll be dead by now,' Jiang Ming clicked his tongue and kicked a nearby rock in displeasure.

For all the work he had done, not only was he not rewarded with some kisses, but he was being treated worse than before.

Time slowly passed by, and when they were met with two passageways, the women stopped their movement.

"Who did you learn that shamelessness from, Yuan Chunhua?" He asked in disbelief.

"Isn't it all thanks to you? If you weren't so shameless after getting thrashed, then I wouldn't have learned such great dao."

"The great dao is meant for me only!" Jiang Ming rebuked.

Meanwhile, Yuan Chunhua glanced at him for a brief moment, shrugged her shoulders, and ignored his rebuke.

Who told him to want to bed her?

'If you want to bed me, then you should be prepared to do whatever it's necessary.' She exclaimed inwardly. Once she let him into her precious area, then that was her life forever. A man might be fickle when it comes to love, but most of the time, a woman would only love one person ever.

"If you really want to earn a woman's heart, then less complaining and more working." Yuan Chunhua urged.

"I've already worked a lot yet I refused zero benefits except for some empty promises." He clicked his tongue.

Just when he was about to detect which passage was the correct way, Yuan Chunhua suddenly gave him a slight peck on the cheek, shocking him deeply.

"There, be happy now." Yuan Chunhua's face was slightly red as she hurriedly turned around and avoided his stare.

Meanwhile, Jiang Ming slowly reached his cheek with his hand, feeling the spot where she placed her rosy and soft lips at.

Feeling energized, his eyes seemed to have turned a blaze as he clasped his hands together.

"Alright, let's leave this crappy place already." After saying that, Jiang Ming concentrated the flow of wind and spiritual qi emitting from both passages.

They were restricted from using spiritual qi, but that doesn't mean the area they are in does not have any.

"Damn pervert." While Jiang Ming was concentrating, Chen Yanmu suddenly muttered in disgust. She had investigated them beforehand so she knew Yuan Chunhua was Jiang Ming's instructor.

Slowly, he was starting to suspect that other than them, there was someone or possibly a ferocious beast lurking here. After all, the puzzle domain was far different than the one he had explored.

He could no longer use his previous knowledge from before to determine what was the correct path.

"What's the matter, Jiang Ming?" Yuan Chunhua asked when she saw him in a daze.

"Is there anything wrong with the paths?"

"It's not that there's something wrong, but I'm afraid we might be facing a dangerous enemy. And considering how none of you can produce an ounce of spiritual qi, we might just be annihilated." Jiang Ming said in a grim voice, void of his playful demeanor.

Whenever things become serious, he would stop joking around and show a solemn expression instead. That was how the others managed to perceive the dreadful situation.

Yuan Chunhua held a worried look and felt she was too much of a burden.

As an instructor, not only did she fail to produce any assistance, but she was also causing Jiang Ming trouble.

"Jiang Ming, is it better to just leave us alone here and that you go ahead?" She suggested. Of course, it would be best if all of them could leave, but if that's not possible, then she at least wanted Jiang Ming to survive.

Meanwhile, Jiang Ming smirked wickedly as he leaned closer to her.

"Rest assured, Yuan Chunhua. If a man is willing to abandon their woman in danger, then that man is no longer a man. He's a scum that deserves retribution and should be sent to hell. Therefore, you can forget about me leaving you alone and running for my life." He whispered softly.
