But before he could do that he collapsed on the ground.

I heard several voices nearing him. No doubt, the commotion has alerted everyone.
I walked to the collapsed body and touched him.

The next second, I disappeared from the spot and appeared in the Gregor Mansion. Then I dropped the body on the floor.
