Meanwhile, Samuel was walking absent-mindedly while holding Grey's hand. They were following Arthur to find out what was happening.
" What wrong big brother?"
" Ah, nothing. I was thinking about something." Samuel replied with a smile.
" You don't have to worry, young master. You know how Lady Laura is, she always has a reason for her action." Arthur commented, seeing how worried Samuel was.
" I know Grandpa but still, they don't care about boundaries. I am worried they would do something excessive." Samuel knew he was the source of their entertainment. They loved to mess with him for laughs and giggles, but this time, he would not be there to protect Mayra if they were to do something.noVe)lb)In
" That may be but you have bigger things to worry about. I have received the orders from the head of the family, you are to move out of the mansion and relocate here. At the northern side of the estate. We are walking toward it but it would take some time on foot that's why I arranged this simple golf cart for you." Arthur delivered him the news that made Samuel's head spin.
Was he ordered to move out? Why?
" Is father sending brother away? Did he do something wrong?" Grey asked the question first.
" Eh? I don't why. As soon as I went to see him, he informed me about it. Don't worry your luggage is on the way, it will take few minutes so please get inside the cart first."
Samuel was lost in thought; he was sure it was because of the mess he made in Paris and LA. Not to mention the incident about his arrest. He might not care about it, but several influential people knew about his identity; it should have brought shame to the family!
It's only been a few months, and with a dozen significant incidents, his parents must be disappointed in him, hence this punishment. He was a little sad, but his jaw dropped to the floor when they reached the place.
" W-what the hell is this?" He could say he knew their family property from top to bottom, but he had never seen anything like this before. In front of his eyes was a mega-mansion that looked out of this world, not because it was sleek and modern.
But because it looked like it was hidden from the rest of the world due to heavy use of black wood. The entrance was wide and split in the middle due to symmetry. The entrance gate and a proper boundary were still missing; for now, everything was poorly arranged to give an overall understanding of where the walls would be placed.
" I don't know. Let's head inside; I heard someone will be waiting for us." Arthur didn't know what to say, too. He knew a few things about this project when it was started, but it looked completely different from what he imagined.
As soon as they walked inside, they heard the sound of flowing water; there was a pond right in the middle of the entrance, and at the center of it was a large fountain spewing water at a steady rate.
The surrounding area was level and flat, but one could hardly see because the whole area seemed more elevated than the ground they were standing on. They took the right staircase and finally saw the fountain up close.
The beautiful grass field was divided by a cobblestone road carefully placed and leveled to resemble a regular route. Beautiful flower gardens were running across the whole street, and in the distance, they could see the entrance to the mansion.
" Everything is pitch black, don't tell me that they used African blackwood for everything?" Samuel asked Arthur, who could only give him a bitter smile.
He had heard that the family was going all out on this, but using the most expensive wood in the world to build this mega-mansion was too extravagant even for them. Large trees surrounded the whole area, and their shade perfectly blended with the wooden structure.
It was well camouflaged; even from a few hundred meters, all one would see was a black spot buried in the tree lines. Samuel walked inside to see the perfect replica of the back garden that they had behind the leading estate on the left side of the mansion.
The right side had an open area where few people could be seen working nonstop without caring about Samuel's arrival. There was a large pool that was still in work running around from the right side of the mansion all the way to the back.
It was made into a curve to fully utilize the narrow area. A few people installed what seemed to be outside the kitchen and placed the grill while adjusting the power outlet. Samuel looked around to see the mansion still in development.
More than a hundred people were all over the property doing their jobs. Other than that, most of the daily necessities were already finished.
" Is this where Big Brother is going to live!? I want to live here too!" Greyson's eyes gleamed, seeing the large stone and wooden house. Their main mansion was extravagant, but he liked to stay closer to nature. He would regularly venture inside the forest to play with Anya and other staff children.
" You can't young master! You have to get permission from your parents. It fine to spend few hours here but due to construction still on going it would be hard for you to live here."
" Moo." Grey was disappointed being turned down, but seeing the construction, he understood.
" Who is overseeing this project? What about Elise? How would she live here?" Samuel asked.
" About that...from what I hear, the back area is fully completed so you don't need to worry about that." Arthur whispered it so that Grey didn't hear it.
" The whole family came together to settle on the design. It was done as your eighteenth birthday gift also to give you some privacy. They thought it would be an inconvenience for you to...you know.."
" I understand. You don't have to say it." Samuel said and thought that it was a good thing. It was getting a little embarrassing for him to bring his friends to meet his family every time he came home. Having a house this close to the main mansion was a good idea.
" Oh, look who we have here. Sami! You are just in time for the big reveal!" Suddenly, a familiar face popped out from inside the house. He smiled ear to ear like he was excited to show Samuel something!
But Samuel had a bad feeling in his gut; whatever this guy was involved in was bound to be outrageous!
