"All right. Should I get the contract?" The old man asked.
"There's no need for that. I have one here." Jack replied as he removed a contract from his pant's pocket.
The old man's lips twitched as he thought that perhaps Jack had come over prepared. Could it be that Jack had already been preparing to recruit the shadow organization when he came over? Just thinking of it, he couldn't help but curse at Jack for beating up his grandson and son.
What the old man did not know was the fact that, the contract that Jack had taken out was actually from the system. Just like the 100 puppets, the contracts were capable of getting materialized from the system.
With just a single thought, the contract was able to appear in his pants' pocket. So, he took it out, and began writing the details of what he wanted.
Just like they had discussed before, Jack went ahead and wrote down the details. After that, he also added the clause that stated that the details of the contract was supposed to be kept as confidential.
Considering the fact that the shadow organization had been banned from ever going back to the strongholds, if someone else came to know that the shadow organization was actually in cahoots with him, they were going to cause him trouble.
It was not that he was afraid of trouble, but, since he was just going there for the first time, he wanted to gain a foothold first, before beginning to deal with any troublesome power that tried to attack him.
At the same time as he thought about this, he had already decided that he was going to visit the stronghold soon. After all, everything was actually pointing towards the fact that his mother, if she was really not dead, that implied that she might be in a certain stronghold somewhere.
After he was done noting down everything, he handed over the contract form to the old man.
The old man went ahead and filled in his real name, Maxwell Bati. After he was done with that, he made sure that every detail that Jack had filled in was correct, before finally putting in his signature.
As for the clause where it stated that the details of the contract were supposed to be kept as confidential, the old man doubted that this was going to be so. After all, currently, there was a group of three people witnessing everything.
Anyway, he didn't care about it. Since he was the only one that knew about this matter from the shadow organization, then, unless someone from Jack's side revealed anything about it, then, the collaboration between the two of them was not going to be known by anyone else.
After he was done with the signing, the old man handed the document back to Jack, who also put his signature down. After that, just like it had happened after he had signed the contract with Samantha, the contract form disintegrated before merging into the two of them.
And with that finally out of the way, Jack felt that he had completed what had brought him over. And in fact, he felt that he had gained more than he had been expecting.

"I guess we are done here. So, are you going to stay here for a while or are you going to leave?" The old man asked as he looked at Jack. In his heart, he really wished that Jack could leave this place as soon as possible.
Even though the two of them had already signed the contract that Jack was going to provide the resources for the organization, there was not even a single clause that stated that Jack was not allowed to kill them.
But of course, there was a clause that stated that the shadow organization was never supposed to betray Jack during this 10 year agreement.
Even though the old man was displeased by it, he didn't have any other choice. After all, he was sure that the moment that he talked about it, Jack was going to give several reasons about the matter, and in the end, he might actually even decide not to sign the contract.
The shadow organization was the one that was in the need currently, and so, they did not hold the initiative. So, even though it was disadvantageous to them, they had no choice.
The only reason as to why he wanted Jack out of here as soon as possible was, to ensure that Jack did not suddenly decide to kill someone. That was of course on the matter concerning his grandson who had kidnapped Celine.
Just thinking of that grandson of his, since they had been doting on him for a very long time, that guy had gotten arrogant and thoughtless. That was the reason as to why he had kidnapped Celine, rather than just simply inviting Jack over.
It seemed that he would have to begin teaching that idiot grandson of his a lesson. He didn't want something like the one that had occurred right at this moment to happen again.
"Why are you chasing me away? You have to remember that you have not given me the compensation that we came to an agreement that you are going to give my wife. Additionally, there is still another small matter that I will have to deal with." Jack replied.
The old man felt his lips twitching. At the same time, he was quite helpless. Just thinking of the fact that the person that was supposed to provide the shadow organization with resources, was actually looking for ways to get resources from the shadow organization, was making him feel something was wrong.
This was already telling him that Jack was unreliable. But still, since they had already signed the contract, nothing was going to change.
"I will deliver the serum to you when we leave this building. But, what is this small matter that you are talking about?" The old man asked with a frown on his face. For some reason, he was having a bad feeling about the matter.
"Simple. I am not yet done with the idiot that kidnapped my wife. My wife's freedom cannot be simply traded with a simple serum. It is worth more than that." Jack replied calmly.
The old man's eyes widened. Then, he looked at Jack with an angry expression on his face as he said, "What is it now? Don't tell me that you really want to take my grandson's life?! It is true that he kidnapped your wife, but you have to agree that he did not do anything to her other than restricting her movements and freedom!"
The old man was completely infuriated this time. He did not believe that Jack was shameless enough to ask for more, even though they had already agreed that they were going to give Celine compensation.
"Of course not. Since he did not go to a very big extent, I will give him a slight punishment. After all, if I let him go with just a simple beating, would I not be giving others the impression that they could do anything to my wife? That is something that I don't want a repeat of." Jack stated.
The old man was slightly relieved when he heard that Jack was only willing to give a small punishment. But still, he couldn't help but wonder just what kind of punishment Jack was going to administer to his grandson, considering that the fierce beating that had left Jasper battered was actually considered small.
Even though the old man did not want to agree to this, he didn't have a choice again. If Jack really wanted to punish Jasper, the old man didn't have the capabilities of preventing him from doing so. After all, Jack was stronger than him.
In the end, he could only hope that the punishment that Jack was going to administer to Jasper wasn't going to be that severe. If possible, he wanted it to be a kind of punishment that could be dealt with after Jack had left.
The group proceeded to leave the building. After that, they headed to yet another majestic looking building, only that this building was way bigger than the one that Jasper possessed.
After getting there, the old man instructed someone wearing a blue mask to go over and bring a serum. And after it was brought over, the old man gave it to Jack as he explained sourly.
"This is currently the best serum that we possess. This serum can increase the overall strength of a person. It is not just an increase in physical strength, but also speed, senses, and reflexes." The old man explained.
After hearing the explanation, Jack nodded. Since he was currently possessing incredible medical skills, then, it was not a problem for him to identify that the serum was supposed to be injected.
And looking at the small amount, he already realized that it was supposed to be injected on the arm.
After putting the serum away, Jack said, "Where is he now? I want to deal with him before leaving here. I still have something else to deal with."
